Let F be an algebraically closed field of characteristic p>3. This paper studies the cohomology of graded Lie algebras S（n,m） of Cartan type over F. The author determines the structures of H1（S（3,m）, 0）, where 0 is the graded S（3,m）-module which is induced by an irreducible sl （3）-module V0, the structures of H1（S（3,m）, V）, where V is an irreducible S（3,m）-module, and the structures of the restricted cohomology H*1（S（3,（1, 1, 1））, V）, where V is an irreducible restricted S（3, （1, 1, 1））-module.

This paper gives a description of the adjoint module by means of the mixed product and the induced module so that the computation of H^i(L, L) can be reduced to that of the cohomology of L. Then the structures of the derivation algebras of L is determined.

The functionally graded thermal barrier coatings （FG-TBCs） with 80%ZrO2-13%CeO2-7%Y2O3 （C-YSZ）/NiCoCrAlY were prepared using a recently developed supersonic plasma spraying（S-PS） with dual powder feed ports system. The thermal shock experiment of FG-TBCs specimens was carried out by means of the automatic thermal cycle device, in which the samples were heated to 1200℃ by oxygen-acetylene flame jet then water-quenched to ambient temperature. The temperature—time curves of specimens and photographs can be watched on-line and recorded by a computer during the test. The results show that the totally 1mm-thick FG-TBCs have excellent thermal shock resistance due to the fact that the coatings have no any peeling-off after 200 thermal cycles. The microstructures and morphologies of FG-TBCs were characterized and analyzed by SEM.

Within the framework of three-dimensional elasticity theory,this paper investigates the thermal response of functionally graded annular plates in which the material can be transversely isotropic and vary along the thickness direction in an arbitrary *** generalized Mian and Spencer method is utilized to obtain the analytical solutions of annular plates under a through-thickness steady temperature *** present analytical solutions are validated through comparisons against those available in open literature.A parametric study is conducted to examine the effects of gradient distribution,different temperature fields,different diameter ratio and boundary conditions on the deformation and stress fields of the *** results show that these factors can have obvious effects on the thermo-elastic behavior of functionally gradient materials(FGM)annular plates.

The finite element method (FEM) and the boundary element method (BEM) are often adopted. However, they are not convenient to spatially vary thermal properties of functionally graded material (FGM). Therefore, the method of lines (MOL) is introduced to solve the temperature field of FGM. The basic idea of the method is to semi-discretize the governing equation into a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) defined on discrete lines by means of the finite difference method. The temperature field of FGM can be obtained by solving the ODEs. The functions of thermal properties are directly embodied in these equations and these properties are not discretized in the domain. Thus, difficulty of FEM and BEM is overcome by the method. As a numerical example, the temperature field of a plane problem is analyzed for FGMs through varying thermal conductivity coefficient by the MOL.
