Global biodiversity is currently in the midst of the sixth mass extinction,and countless species and their key ecosystem services are threatened across different habitats(Vos et al.2015).Constructive actions to address the negative impacts of changing conditions require rigorous biodiversity data integration and synthesis to inform effective policy-making decisions(Heberling et al.2021).Care is needed to ensure objectivity and remove biases in analyses to avoid generating misleading conclusions.Recently,Ramírez-Fráncel et al.(2022)published a review offering an update on the vital ecosystem services of bats on a Global scale.We applaud the authors for their attempt to conduct an extremely challenging large-scale analysis in major areas of bat ecosystem services.

Plasma-activated water(PAW)has been utilised in various application fields,and a deep understanding on the plasma chemistry is the foundation of application-orientated optimisation.In this paper,a Global model is built to study the chemical properties of PAW produced by a dielectric barrier discharge that is powered by nanosecond voltage pulses.The applied voltage is firstly repeated with 10 kHz frequency for 100 s,and then shut down for 200 s afterglow,providing a long-term evolution regarding the production and consumption of some typical reactive oxygen/nitrogen species(RONS)in PAW.The calculated results agree principally with experimental measurements from literature.During the pulsed discharge,the water gradually acidises,and the long-lived species accumulate;while in the afterglow,most of the aqueous RONS decay rapidly,except for O_(3aq),NO_(3aq)^(−),H_(2)O_(2aq)and N_(2)O_(aq),which might be the main sources to sustain long-term effects.Furthermore,the effects of applied voltage and gap distance on RONS are investigated.Correlation analyses from Pearson correlation coefficient indicate that gaseous RONS are more sensitive to the gap distance,while the aqueous ones are more sensitive to the voltage amplitude,suggesting the possibility to independently regulating the gaseous and aqueous chemistry.

Clinical Study and automatic diagnosis of electrocardiogram(ECG)data always remain a challenge in diagnosing cardiovascular activities.The analysis of ECG data relies on various factors like morphological features,classification techniques,methods or models used to diagnose and its performance improvement.Another crucial factor in themethodology is howto train the model for each patient.Existing approaches use standard training model which faces challenges when training data has variation due to individual patient characteristics resulting in a lower detection accuracy.This paper proposes an adaptive approach to identify performance improvement in building a training model that analyze Global trainingmethodology against an individual training methodology and identifying a gap between them.We provide our investigation and comparative study on these methods and model with standard classification techniques with basic morphological features and Heart RateVariability(HRV)thatmay aid real time application.This approach helps in analyzing and evaluating the performance of different techniques and can suggests adoption of a best model identification with efficient technique and efficient attribute set for real-time systems.

在全球增温背景下,中国地区是全球气候变化的敏感区之一.预估并理解未来极端降水的变化及其影响对于减缓和适应策略的制定具有重要的指示意义.本文基于CMIP5多模式预估的极端降水,结合不同社会经济路径下的人口预估数据,分析了不同全球温升阈值下中国地区极端强降水和极端干期的变化及其对人口的影响.研究表明,中国地区极端强降水事件将随增温普遍增强(中国地区平均Rx5day将增强~6.5%/K),因此其对人口的影响随全球温升而持续增加.而极端干期则呈偶极子型变化,在中国南部延长、北部缩短.由于气候变化和人口分布的不均匀性,中国东南部是极端降水变化对人口影响的敏感地区.比较未来气候变化和人口分布变化的相对作用,极端降水本身的未来变化将主导其对人口的影响,而人口分布变化的影响相对较小.

Introduction Anxiety and depressive disorders pose significant public health issues across the world.Depression and other depressive disorders are mental illnesses characterised by a profound and persistent feeling of sadness or despair and a loss of interest in formerly pleasurable activities.Disturbances in sleep,appetite and cognitive processes are common symptoms.Globally,5%of adults are estimated to suffer from the disorder.1 Anxiety disorder is a chronic condition characterised by excessive and persistent apprehension,with physical symptoms such as sweating,palpitations,feelings of stress and increased blood pressure.
