GL2 gene plays key roles in regulating oil content of *** putative GL2 promoters were isolated from genomic DNA of Brassica napus by nested PCR using genomic walking method, named GP2A and *** analysis indicated both of them had low homology between Arabidopsis and *** cis-elements were shared by the two species,such as MYB binding site and G ***,some elements were specific to ***,such as E *** promoter regions were obtained by bioinformatics analysis and online *** these promoter sequences including GP1(GP2A-promoterl),GP2(GP2B-promoter2) and several internal deletion fragments of GP2 were fused with the reporter gene gus to construct plant expression *** of the binary vectors were transformed into Arabidopsis by the Agrobacterium-mediated *** analysis in T generation revealed that segregation rates of most transgenic lines in kanamycin-resistance were larger than 3:1 when a few fitted the 3:1 pattern,suggesting multiple T-DNA insertion in the *** staining analysis showed that the gus gene mainly expressed in young tissues of Arabidopsis,such as cotyledons,trichomes of true leaves and roots, which are basically consistent with the expression style of Arabidopsis GL2 ***, compared with Arabidopsis GL2 promoter which expressed in the whole process of trichome development,*** GL2 promoter only expressed in the early stage of trichome *** staining analysis indicated that GP1 and GP2 directed the gus expression in the same pattern except the higher expression level GP1 had,especially in root;GP2 were functional for directing gus ***2::gus activity was detectable,especially in the young tissues,such as cotyledons,leaf primordia,early stage trichomes,root tips and young seeds(ten days after flowering).The results indicated BnL2 gene may play a role in the early development of ***2 deletion analysis indicated that the seq
