This paper focuses on deriving the stability condi- tions of interval type-2 fuzzy-model-based （FMB） control system formed by the interval type-2 T-S fuzzy model and the interval type-2 T-S fuzzy controller connected in a closed loop. To reduce the conservativeness of stability analysis, a fuzzy lyapunov function, considering the property of membership functions, is adopted. The stability conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） are obtained. A numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed conditions.

This paper addresses the problem of the stability analysis and control synthesis for continuous-time TakagiSugeno （TS） fuzzy systems. By employing the descriptor system approach and the parallel distributed compensation control scheme, sufficient stability conditions of fuzzy systems are derived based on a novel fuzzy lyapunov function. Unlike conventional approach using a fuzzy blending of multiple quadratic lyapunov functions, the bound of the time-derivatives of membership functions is not required in the proposed methods. In addition, the proposed methods overcome the difficulty using the fuzzy lyapunov functions usually lead to solver the bilinear matrix inequalities. New sufficient conditions for TS fuzzy models allow a straightforward formulation in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）, which can be easily solved by convex optimization techniques. Finally, a numerical example is given to the effectiveness of proposed methods.

This paper is concerned with the problem of stochastic stabilization and H control for a class of continuous-time nonlinear Markovian jump systems(MJSs) described by Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy *** on a mode-dependent fuzzy lyapunov function and by introducing slack matrix variables,we propose a new less conservative sufficient condition for the mode-dependent fuzzy controller in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs),which can be easily solved by using the convex optimization ***,a new design approach of H controller is also provided,and it has shown that the new design approach improves the H performance of the ***,two simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Stability analysis for affine fuzzy system based on fuzzy lyapunov functions

An analysis method based on the fuzzy lyapunov functions is presented to analyze the stability of the continuous affine fuzzy systems. First, a method is introduced to deal with the consequent part of the fuzzy local model. Thus, the stability analysis method of the homogeneous fuzzy system can be used for reference. Stability conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities based on the fuzzy lyapunov functions and the modified common lyapunov functions, respectively. The results demonstrate that the stability result based on the fuzzy lyapunov functions is less conservative than that based on the modified common lyapunov functions via numerical examples. Compared with the method which does not expand the consequent part, the proposed method is simpler but its feasible region is reduced. Finally, in order to expand the application of the fuzzy lyapunov functions, the piecewise fuzzy lyapunov function is proposed, which can be used to analyze the stability for triangular or trapezoidal membership functions and obtain the stability conditions. A numerical example validates the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

An analytical solution is undertaken to describe the wave-induced flow field and the surge motion of a permeable platform structure with fuzzy controllers in an oceanic *** the design procedure of the controller,a parallel distributed compensation（PDC） scheme is utilized to construct a global fuzzy logic controller by blending all local state feedback controllers.A stability analysis is carried out for a real structure system by using lyapunov *** corresponding boundary value problems are then incorporated into scattering and radiation *** are analytically solved,based on separation of variables,to obtain series solutions in terms of the harmonic incident wave motion and surge *** dependence of the wave-induced flow field and its resonant frequency on wave characteristics and structure properties including platform width,thickness and mass has been thus drawn with a parametric *** which mathematical models are applied for the wave-induced displacement of the surge motion.A nonlinearly inverted pendulum system is employed to demonstrate that the controller tuned by swarm intelligence method can not only stabilize the nonlinear system,but has the robustness against external disturbance.

This paper deals with the stability analysis and control design problems for continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno （TS） fuzzy systems. By employing a novel fuzzy lyapunov function and the parallel distributed compensation control scheme, sufficient stability conditions of fuzzy systems are derived. Unlike conventional approach based on quadratic lyapunov functions, the bound of the time-derivatives of membership functions is not required in the proposed approaches. Based on the result of Geromel and Korogui [31] combined with the property of dual system, new sufficient conditions for the existence of fuzzy controller under consideration are achieved in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. Moreover, the expressions of desired fuzzy controller are given.

This paper deals with the problem of stabilization design for a class of continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno（T-S）fuzzy *** stabilization conditions are derived based on a relaxed approach in which both fuzzy lyapunov functions and staircase membership functions are *** the staircase membership functions approximating the continuous membership functions of the given fuzzy model,the information of the membership functions can be brought into the stabilization design of the fuzzy systems,thereby significantly reducing the conservativeness in the existing stabilization conditions of the T-S fuzzy *** some previous fuzzy lyapunov function approaches reported in the literature,the proposed stabilization conditions do not depend on the time-derivative of the membership functions that may be the main source of conservatism when considering fuzzy lyapunov functions ***,conditions for the solvability of the controller design are written in the form of linear matrix inequalities,but not bilinear matrix inequalities,which are easier to be solved by convex optimization techniques.A simulation example is given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach.

This paper presents stabilizing controller design for a class of continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems. The main result concerns the stabilization based on fuzzy lyapunov function approaches. Unlike the fuzzy lyapunov function approaches reported in the literatures, the time-derivatives of membership functions do not appear in the design procedure and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the controller design problem are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） by applying some matrix transformations together with slack variables with special structure.

The problem of releasing the conservatism of stability criteria continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with parameter uncertainties is addressed in this paper. The parameter uncertainties of system parameter matrices are assumed to be time-varying and norm-bounded. By using the fuzzy lyapunov function, sufficient stability conditions are proposed for verifying the asymptotical stability of the continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with parameter uncertainties. Furthermore, a kind of technique for introducing additional matrix variables is applied for obtaining less conservative stability criteria. The obtained stability criteria are give in terms of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）, which can be easily solved via standard numerical software. Finally, a numerical example is also provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
