New Perspective to Isogeometric Analysis:Solving Isogeometric Analysis Problem by Fitting Load Function

Isogeometric analysis(IGA)is introduced to establish the direct link between computer-aided design and *** is commonly implemented by Galerkin formulations(isogeometric Galerkin,IGA-G)through the use of nonuniform rational B-splines(NURBS)basis functions for geometric design and *** promising approach,isogeometric collocation(IGA-C),working directly with the strong form of the partial differential equation(PDE)over the physical domain defined by NURBS geometry,calculates the derivatives of the numerical solution at the chosen collocation *** a typical IGA,the knot vector of the NURBS numerical solution is only determined by the physical domain.A new perspective on the IGAmethod is proposed in this study to improve the accuracy and convergence of the *** the PDE with IGA can be regarded as fitting the load function defined on the NURBS geometry(right-hand side)with derivatives of the NURBS numerical solution(left-hand side).Moreover,the design of the knot vector has a close relationship to theNURBS functions to be fitted in the area of data fitting in geometric ***,the detected feature points of the load function are integrated into the initial knot vector of the physical domainto construct thenewknot vector of thenumerical ***,they are connected seamlessly with the IGA-C framework for its great potential combining the accuracy and smoothness merits with the computational efficiency,which we call isogeometric collocation by fitting load function(IGACL).In numerical experiments,we implement our method to solve 1D,2D,and 3D PDEs and demonstrate the improvement in accuracy by comparing it with the standard IGA-C *** also verify the superiority in the accuracy of our knot selection scheme when employed in the IGA-G method,which we call isogeometric Galerkin by fitting load function(IGA-GL).

A New Robust Image feature point Detector

A scale space-variant filter (SVF) is proposed on the basis of Harris arithmetic operators, which can smoothly isolate noise efficiently at the situation of keeping edge information of the image. Comparing SVF with Gaussian filter under step jump signal and initial image input, the result indicates that SVF is better than Gaussian filter. Using SVF to detect feature points of an image, the experiment shows that feature points detected from SVF output contain more edge information. Using 2D space limitations, Euclidian distance limitation and angle limitation, we can eliminate redundant feature points so that all the useful feature points are distributed in all regions of the image evenly. From the result of the examination for noise-contained image, we can draw the conclusions that the new robust feature point detector can get more accurateposition of feature points and the distribution of the points is more rational than that of the points without those limitations.

The varying density of the cell culture and the complexity of the cell behavior,shape deformation,mitosis,close contact and partial occlusion pose many challenges to existing tracking *** this paper,a novel automatic multi-cells tracing algorithm is put *** implemented the automatic tracking method that proceeds in three steps:Firstly,we detect the individual cells in each frame using feature point detection ***,we establish the correspondences between cells over neighboring frames with a notion of decision risk derived from cell motion priors and record them in the track linked list data ***,the multi-cells’ trajectories are formed from the track linked list data *** experimental result shows that the multi-cell tracking algorithm simultaneously tracks a very large number of cells and can successfully cope with the aforementioned challenges.

Image mosaic is a technique being used to stitch multiple images together to form a stitched image with higher resolution and large field of view. This paper presents an improved RANSAC algorithm of color image mosaic. Image mosaic mainly comprises two steps,namely image registration and image *** algorithm comprises main modules,such as Harris corner detection, NCC rough matching,improved RANSAC exaction,estimating the projection transformation matrix,projection transformation,image *** improved RANSAC for feature points exaction based on statistical regularities can greatly support the real time of the *** experimental results show that the algorithm presented is fast and effective.
