The“one-stop”student community provides new support for innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities.Integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education into the“one-stop”student community work enriches course materials,integrates teacher resources,improves students’participation in innovation and entrepreneurship,and solves problems such as low student participation,lack of course resources,insufficient teacher resources,and single evaluation methods in traditional classrooms.Through various means such as exploring course resources,innovating management models,and strengthening team construction,the role of“one-stop”student communities in innovation and entrepreneurship education has been fully utilized,promoting the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

Introduction: Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) aims at preventing malaria in children during the high transmission season. It has been recommended by the WHO since 2013 for children from the age of 3-59 months. However, despite the impact of this intervention, a peak in the prevalence and incidence of malaria is observed in children from the age of 5-9 years. The aim of this study is to determine from the current literature the feasibility, impact and cost-effectiveness of extending SMC to five cycles and to older children. Methods: A litterature search of PubMed/Medline, NCBI and Google scholar identified 1333 articles. After reading the titles and abstracts by two authors, 24 articles were selected and submitted for full reading. Random control studies on the extension of SMC, malaria, feasibility of SMC, impact of SMC and cost-effectiveness of SMC were selected. A total of 16 articles were included for the qualitative synthesis after excluding 8 studies. Results: Following the summary of the evidence, we conclude that the extension is feasible but will be confronted with the unavailability of older children. The intervention period coincides with field work. SMC is effective in reducing the prevalence and incidence of malaria and the parasite density in children. The financial cost of administering SMC is lower than that of treating a child suffering from malaria. Conclusion: After analysing the information, it was found that the majority of the African population supports the extension of the SMC to the number of cycles and the age group in order to alleviate the high mortality and morbidity rates among children due to malaria.

BACKGROUND Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct(IPNB)is a premalignant biliarytype epithelial neoplasm with intraductal papillary or villous growth.Currently reported local palliative therapeutic modalities,including endoscopic nasobiliary drainage,stenting and biliary curettage,endoscopic biliary polypectomy,percutaneous biliary drainage,laser ablation,argon plasma coagulation,photodynamic therapy,and radiofrequency ablation to relieve mechanical obstruction are limited with weaknesses and disadvantages.We have applied percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopy(PTCS)-assisted biliary polypectomy(PTCS-BP)technique for the management of IPNB including mucin-hypersecreting cast-like and polypoid type tumors since 2010.AIM To assess the technical feasibility,efficacy,and safety of PTCS-BP for local palliative treatment of IPNB.METHODS Patients with mucin-hypersecreting cast-like or polypoid type IPNB and receiving PTCS-BP between September 2010 and December 2019 were included.PTCS-BP was performed by using a half-moon type snare with a soft stainless-steel wire,and the tumor was snared and resected with electrocautery.The primary outcome was its feasibility,indicated by technical success.The secondary outcomes were efficacy,including therapeutic success,curative resection,and clinical success,and safety.RESULTS Five patients(four with mucin-hypersecreting cast-like type and one with polypoid type IPNB)were included.Low-and high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia(HGIN)and recurrent IPNB with invasive carcinoma were observed in one,two,and two patients,respectively.Repeated cholangitis and/or obstructive jaundice were presented in all four patients with mucin-hypersecreting cast-like type IPNB.All five patients achieved technical success of PTCS-BP.Four patients(three with mucin-hypersecreting cast-like type and one with polypoid type IPNB)obtained therapeutic success;one with mucin-hypersecreting cast-like type tumors in the intrahepatic small bile duct and HGIN had residual tumors.All four patients with mucin-

Power equipment vibration visualization using intelligent sensing method based on event-sensing principle

Vibration measurements can be used to evaluate the operation status of power equipment and are widely applied in equipment quality inspection and fault identification.Event-sensing technology can sense the change in surface light intensity caused by object vibration and provide a visual description of vibration behavior.Based on the analysis of the principle underlying the transformation of vibration behavior into event flow data by an event sensor,this paper proposes an algorithm to reconstruct event flow data into a relationship correlating vibration displacement and time to extract the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the vibration signal.A vibration measurement test platform is constructed,and feasibility and effectiveness tests are performed for the vibration motor and other power equipment.The results show that event-sensing technology can effectively perceive the surface vibration behavior of power and provide a wide dynamic range.Furthermore,the vibration measurement and visualization algorithm for power equipment constructed using this technology offers high measurement accuracy and efficiency.The results of this study provide a new noncontact and visual method for locating vibrations and performing amplitude-frequency analysis on power equipment.

AIM: To evaluate the image quality of a telemedicine screening program for retinal disease using a nonmydriatic camera among rural island communities in Bocas del Toro, Panama.METHODS: In June 2018, a group of three medical students volunteered at clinics operated by the Floating Doctors in the province of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Nonmydriatic images of the retina were obtained using the Pictor Plus(Volk Optical, Mentor OH), randomized, and sent to two board-certified ophthalmologists at the University of California, Irvine for analysis using a modified version of the FOTO-ED scale. Inter-rater reliability was calculated using the kappa statistic.RESULTS: Seventy patients provided a total of 127 images. Average image quality was 3.31, and most frequent image quality was 4/5 on the FOTO-ED scale. Thirty patients had at least one eye image with ideal quality(42.86%), while only one patient had no adequate photos taken(1.43%). However, high quality images were obtained in both eyes in only 12 patients(17.14%). The inter-rater reliability between the two ophthalmologists was 0.614.CONCLUSION: Further improvements are necessary to acquire higher quality images more reliably. This may include further training and experience or mydriasis.

The feasibility of oral targeted drug delivery: Gut immune to particulates?

Targeted drug delivery is constantly updated with a better understanding of the physiological and pathological features of various diseases. Depending on high safety, good compliance and many other undeniable advantages, attempts have been undertaken to complete an intravenous-to-oral conversion of targeted drug delivery. However, oral delivery of particulates to systemic circulation is highly challenging due to the biochemical aggressivity and immune exclusion in the gut that restrain absorption and access to the bloodstream. Little is known about the feasibility of targeted drug delivery via oral administration(oral targeting) to a remote site beyond the gastrointestinal tract. To this end, this review proactively contributes to a special dissection on the feasibility of oral targeting. We discussed the theoretical basis of oral targeting, the biological barriers of absorption, the in vivo fate and transport mechanisms of drug vehicles, and the effect of structural evolution of vehicles on oral targeting as well. At last, a feasibility analysis on oral targeting was performed based on the integration of currently available information. The innate defense of intestinal epithelium does not allow influx of more particulates into the peripheral blood through enterocytes. Therefore, limited evidence and lacking exact quantification of systemically exposed particles fail to support much success with oral targeting. Nevertheless, the lymphatic pathway may serve as a potentially alternative portal of peroral particles into the remote target sites via M-cell uptake.

Research on the feasibility of storage and estimation model of storage capacity of CO_(2)in fissures of coal mine old goaf

The concept of the carbon cycle in the old goaf of a coal mine based on CO_(2)utilization and storage was put forward adhering to the principle of low-carbon development,utilization of space resources in old goafs,and associated gas resources development.Firstly,the evolution characteristics of overburden fissures in the goaf of the case was studied using a two-dimensional physical similarity simulation test,the sealing performance of the caprocks after stabilization was analyzed,and the fissures were counted and classi-fied.Then,the process of gaseous CO_(2)injection in the connected fissure was simulated by Ansys Fluent software,and the migration law and distribution characteristics of CO_(2)under the condition of gaseous CO_(2)injection were analyzed.Finally,the estimation models of free CO_(2)storage capacity in the old goaf were constructed considering the proportion of connected fissure and the effectiveness of CO_(2)injection.The CO_(2)storage capacity in the old goaf of the case coal mine was estimated.The results showed that a caprock group of“hard-thickness low-permeability hard-thickness”was formed after the caprock-fissures system in the goaf of the case tended to be stable vertically.The connected fissure,occlude cracks,and micro-fractures in the goaf accounted for 85.5%,8.5%,and 6%of the total fissures,respectively.Gaseous CO_(2)first migrated to the bottom of the connected fissure after CO_(2)was injected into the goaf,then spread horizontally along the bottom of the connected fissure after reaching the bottom,and finally spread longitudinally after filling the bottom of the entire connected fissure.The theoretical and effective storage capacities of free CO_(2)at normal temperature and pressure in the old goaf of the case were 9757 and 7477 t,respectively.The effective storage capacity of free CO_(2)at normal temperature and pressure in the old goaf after all minefield mined was 193404 t.The research can provide some reference for the coal mining industry to help the goal of“carbon peaking and car

BACKGROUND Irreversible electroporation(IRE)is a local non-thermal ablative technique which has been suggested as a potential cancer therapy.However,the specific anatomic characteristics of the pancreatic head make it challenging to perform any local ablation in this region.Therefore,the safety and feasibility of IRE in the pancreatic head region should be further explored.AIM To evaluate the safety of IRE in pancreatic head region including its effects on pancreatic ducts,vessels,and adjacent gastrointestinal organs.METHODS Eight landrace miniature pigs underwent IRE of pancreatic head tissue successfully,with a total of 16 lesions created.Laboratory testing including white blood cell(WBC)count and serum amylase before IRE with follow-up laboratory analysis and pathological examination at 1,7,14,and 28 d postablation were performed.RESULTS All pigs tolerated the ablation procedure without serious perioperative complications.Transiently elevated WBC count and amylase were observed at 24 h post-IRE,suggesting an acute pancreatic tissue damage which was confirmed by pathological observations.Vascular endothelial cells and pancreatic duct epithelial cells in ablation zone were also positive in terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling staining.There was extensive duodenum mucosa damage with local hemorrhage 24 h after ablation,while regeneration of new villous structures were observed at 7 and 28 d post-IRE.Masson’s trichromatic staining showed that the extracellular matrix was still intact in vessels and pancreatic ducts,and even in the duodenum.CONCLUSION IRE ablation to the pancreatic head may be safe and feasible without long-term damage to the surrounding vital structures.However,risks of stress injuries in acute phase should be taken into consideration to prevent severe perioperative complications.

Inverters play a significant role in the configuration of grid-connected photovoltaic(PV)systems.The perturb-and-observe(P&O)algorithm is a common method to derive the maximum power from grid-connected inverters;however,the possibility of losing maximum power due to sudden changes in radiation is a significant drawback of this control strategy.To overcome this barrier,the two-stage multi-string inverter using the ZETA DC-DC converter and a novel P&O algorithm has been proposed to increase the efficiency of these systems.The proposed inverter has been simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK software.To investigate the performance of the proposed inverter,technical,environmental and economic feasibility studies have been performed for the construction of a 5-kW PV power plant in a northern city of Iran(Sari)using the RETScreen software developed by Natural Resources Canada.On the other hand,most feasibility studies for power-plant construction are based on the concept of inverter peak efficiency,which leads to non-optimal system design due to the short operation duration of the inverter at this value.However,the weighted European efficiency has been used in the feasibility study for more accurate computations.Moreover,the performance of the proposed inverter is compared to that of a two-stage multi-string inverter using a conventional P&O algorithm and the single-stage(central)inverter.The simulation results indicated that the proposed inverter injects 7.6 MW of power into the grid per year.Moreover,it prevents the emission of 88 tons of CO_(2)(over 20 years),which is equivalent to saving 1883.5 litres of gasoline per year.
