Several hundreds of national large-scale safety-critical facilities have been built through heavy investments in countries around the world in recent years. During the operation of these safety-critical facilities, the Integrated Computer control System（ICCS） is the nerve center to ensure their safe operation. The development of fault diagnosis technology is necessary to realize the safe and stable operation of the complex control system of the above safety-critical facilities. However, the existing fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant techniques are difficult to satisfy the design requirements for the ICCSs of safety-critical facilities. To make up for the disadvantages of the existing methods, an integrated design framework of fault diagnosis（FD） and fault tolerant control（FTC） have been presented. Accordingly, both the problems and solutions to closed-loop fault diagnosis, fault tolerant controller design and integration of monitoring and control have been given. Finally, to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed solutions, a simulation platform and an experimental demonstration system for fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control have been developed. The simulation platform is mainly used to tackle key academic problems and the experimental verification system is oriented to the automatic alignment scenario of the SG’s laser beam for typical demonstration application.

In order to improve the operating performance and reliability of the distributed grid-connected inverter,for the robust control of the system with sensor faults and uncertain disturbances,a fault-tolerant control strategy is proposed Firstly,the strategy adopts the output feedback control theory and the linear matrix inequality LMI algorithm,so it can design the inverter PQ power tracking closed-loop feedback control ***,considering the current sensor fault,it analyzes and derives the augmented fault model of the control *** constructing a fault-tolerant control structure,which is based on the fault output signal conversion filter and PD-type learning observer,the online reconstruction and realtime compensation of fault signals are ***,the system integration of output feedback control and fault-tolerant control is ***,using multi-fault scenario simulation,it verifies that the proposed control strategy achieves good effect of PQ power tracking control,and the sensor fault tolerance is strong.

In this paper, we consider T-S fuzzy systems with redundant actuators and design a novel adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme to compensate their actuator failures. The advantage of the proposed method is that it can deal with both the parameter uncertainties and failure uncertainties （i.e. the occurrence time, size and mode of the failure are unknown）, and does not require a fault detection unit. A unified control structure is designed to accommodate different failure situations. When failures occur, the parameter adaptation law can tune the controller parameters automatically to compensate the effects of failure and achieve asymptotical state tracking. Simulation results have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

In this paper,the fault-tolerant control problem for linear systems with actuator faults is investigated based on the geometric and adaptive approaches,and a new reconfiguration control strategy is *** main idea is to keep the original nominal controller as part of the reconfigured closed-loop system,and then ensure that the system output can track a desired trajectory before and after the occurrence of faults without adjusting the nominal *** particular,for the stuck and outage faults,the proposed control strategy does not require the condition of actuator redundancy and the more relaxed controller design conditions are ***,the adaptive technique is first embedded into the geometric approach to compensate for stuck and outage ***,the simulation solutions verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper,the problem of designing adaptive fault-tolerant H∞ compensation controllers for linear timeinvariant continuous-time systems against general actuator faults is *** mode-dependent Lyapunov functions method,linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） are developed to ?nd stabilizing controller gains such that the disturbance attenuation performance is *** adaptive control schemes are proposed to estimate the unknown controller parameters on-line for actuator fault and perturbation *** a class of adaptive robust dynamic output feedback controllers is constructed relying on the LMI result and the updated values of these *** on Lyapunov stability theory,it is shown that the resulting closed-loop systems can guarantee to be stable and suboptimal H∞ performances in the presence of faults on actuators.A numerical example of a decoupled linearized dynamic aircraft system and its simulation results are given.

In this paper,the model reference adaptive fault-tolerant control（AFTC） scheme is developed for a class of uncertain linear systems with multiple time delays and actuator *** on the model reference matching condition,a novel variable gain fault-tolerant controller with the corresponding adaptive parameter updated laws is designed to effectively compensate for the actuator faults and time-delayed *** using the Lyapunov stability theory,it is proved that all the closed-loop signals are uniformly bounded,and the state tracking error can asymptotically converge to *** results are provided to verify the efficiency of the proposed method.

For a class of time-delay discrete systems with constraints,actuator faults and polytopic-type uncertainties,the problem of robust fault-tolerant control is researched in this ***,a new state space model with output error is introduced for reference trajectory tracking control,which provides more scope for controller designs and improves control *** based on the predictive control theorem,a min-max robust model predictive control（RMPC） algorithm which considers time delay and the fault model is *** linear matrix inequality（LMI） technology and Lyapunov theory,the min-max optimization problem is transformed into a minimization problem and the asymptotic stability of closed-loop system is ***,the algorithm comparison experimental results on the quadrotor semi-physical simulation platform validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
