Carbon monoxide can cause serious illness or even death if the functionality of smoke alarms fails in the residential home and, in fact, more than 350 persons die every year due to the leak of carbon monoxide. However, vulnerabilities and threats to smoke/CO alarms have not been well-studied. In this paper, through interconnect, a power replay attack has been studied in order to trigger a false alarm. The experimental results demonstrate the smoke alarm can be manipulated. This paper also concentrates on providing a sequence of security methods to defend the smoke alarm system. In future, how to protect smart detectors against attacks will be studied as this can force them to leave high-quality mode of operations.

Diagnosing intermittent fault is an important approach to reduce built-in test（BIT） false alarms. Aiming at solving the shortcoming of the present diagnostic method of intermittent fault, and according to the merit of support vector machines （ SVM） which can be trained with a small-sample, an SVM-based diagnostic model of 3 states that include OK state, intermittent state and faulty state is presented. With the features based on the reflection coefficients of an alarm rate （ AR ） model extracted from small vibration samples, these models are trained to diagnose intermittent faults. The experimental results show that this method can diagnose multiple intermittent faults accurately with small training samples and BIT false alarms are reduced.

A false alarm fault frequently appeared in antenna-servo system of the CINRAD/SA weather radar of Shanwei in the second half of 2011, so possible reasons for the false alarm fault were listed firstly using method of exhaustion, and then the main reason was determined using exclusive method. That is, the fault was closely related to the signal transmission channel from the antenna mount to servo system in RDA cabinet. After ex- amining questionable nodes in the transmission channels of the alarm signal, we found that the false alarm fault might result from the interference of a burr in the temperature sensing circuit of the elevation motor. In actual operation, a filter capacitor was connected with the corresponding pin in the upper optical board to screen the interference of a burr, thereby successfully eliminating the false alarm fault in antenna-servo system of the CIN- RAD/SA radar of Shanwei.

In this paper, the energy-efficient power control problem in cognitive radio （CR） networks is studied not only to provide energy-efficient transmission, but also to guarantee the normal operation of primary users （PUs）. Moreover, the static energy-efficient power control （SEPC） algorithm is proposed in static scenario to maximize the capacity of secondary users （SUs） and to reduce the power consumption according to the interference from PU to SU. Furthermore, based on the analysis of PU＇s dynamic feature with Markov chain and SEPC algorithm,the dynamic energy-efficient power control （DEPC） algorithm is proposed taking into account the probability of detection and false alarm caused by sensing errors. Extensive simulation results show that the performance of the proposed algorithms is significantly improved compared with the existing algorithm.

In order to prevent from giving false alarms of gas sensors, caused by Electromagnetic Interference （EMI）, a original method was presented in which the simulation and radiated emission measure were adopted to accomplish the analysis of immunity about gas sensor. The data was obtained with the R＆S spectrum analyzer FSP7 and the Agilent portable oscillograph. With analyzing the influence of alarm and apertures on enclosure shielding properties through simulation and measure, the optimization of explosion-proof enclosure was finished according to the distribution of radiated interference characteristics. After optimizing, the false alarms significantly reduced. However, there were still occasionally false alarms when nearby electrical equipments were turned on and off. Therefore the complex EMI filter was put forward at power ports and the EMI was controlled within the allowable range. The results proved that the problem of false alarms had been resolved successfully. It is concluded that the improved shielding and filtering are highly significant in enhancing the Electromagnetic Compatibility （EMC） of the gas sensor.

Integrated Condition Monitoring of Space Information Network

In order to solve the integrated condition monitoring problem in space information network, there are three works finished including analyzing the characteristics of tasks process and system health monitoring,adopting the automata modeling method, and respectively establishing the models for state inference and state determination. The state inference model is a logic automaton and is gotten by concluding engineering experiences. The state determination model is a double-layer automaton, the lower automaton is responsible for parameter judge and the upper automaton is responsible for state diagnosis. At last, the system state monitoring algorithm has been proposed, which realizes the integrated condition monitoring for task process and system health, and can avoid the false alarm.

In order to avoid expensive join operations in query processing from structured XML document,some index methods based on sequence have been proposed,which transform XML documents and twig patterns into *** performing subsequence matching,query is processed holistically without breaking the twig pattern into many individual root-to-leaf paths,and large useless intermediate results and expensive join operations are *** this paper, combining path sequence strategy with region labeling scheme,we propose a new sequence scheme,Region Path sequence scheme,where the last node of each path is labeled with the region labeling *** with previous approaches, our approach can avoid false alarm more effectively,and any extra structure for labeling needn’t be ***,we construct two level B-tree structure to finish the matching,and also propose corresponding matching algorithm. Experiment results demonstrate that our approach can not only avoid false alarm,but also process query more quickly than previous methods such as ViST, and Constraint Sequence.
