The principal filtration of the infinite-dimensional odd contact Lie superalgebra over a field of characteristic p 〉 2 is proved to be invariant under the automorphism group by investigating ad-nilpotent elements and determining certain invariants such as subalgebras generated by some ad-nilpotent elements. Then, it is proved that two automorphisms coincide if and only if they coincide on the -1 component with respect to the principal grading. Finally, all the odd contact superalgebras are classified up to isomorphisms.

The novel ways for the filtration improvement of zinc hydroxide sludge precipitated from the zinc\|containing solutions was investigated. It was found that, when the zinc\|containing solutions were added to sodium hydroxide solution, the filtration of the obtained precipitates was improved to some extent, depending on the molar ratios of OH\+-/Zn, in comparison with those obtained by conventional addition of hydroxide solution to zinc\|containing solution, even the ratios were kept the same in these two alkalization methods. The experimental results showed that such an improvement may be contributed to the presence of muddy precipitates formed homogeneously in the sludge. It was suggested that it was zinc\|containing solution that should be added into hydroxide solution, when the zinc was removed from aqueous solution by the precipitation of zinc hydroxides. As a result, the sludge obtained will be filtered and rinsed readily.

In this study, the size distribution of atmospheric aerosol in Beijing was monitored by the scanning mobility particle sizer spectrometer and the optical particle sizer. The size of particles in atmospheric aerosol was primarily distributed in the range of less than 1 pm. It showed different changes with the mass concentrations of particulate matters with an aerodynamic diameter of 〈2.5 pm （PM2.5） for different sizes of fine particles. The amount of ultrafine particles （less than about 60 nm） decreased while the larger ones （〉60 nm） increased along with the mass concentration of PM2.5 in atmospheric aerosol. This was be- cause of the formation of the secondary atmospheric aerosol. The polylactic acid （PLA） nanofibers were prepared for filtering the aerosol by electrospinning. PLA nanofiber mats were used as the middle layer to design the composite filter membranes. Atmospheric aerosol was used as dust source in the filtration test. The results showed that the filtration efficiency of the com- posite filter media increased along with the thickness of nanofiber mats, which was controlled by the collection time during electrospinning. filtration efficiency can be improved obviously by compositing with a thin layer of nanofibers.

The present article deals with filtration of seawater to remove sodium chloride(NaCl)using filter made from organized structures of carbon nanotubes(CNTs).The filter consists of hollow carbon cylinder(length~10 cm,diameter~1 cm),which is composed of radially aligned *** carbon hollow cylinder has been synthesized by continuous spray pyrolysis of ferrocene–benzene solution in argon *** hollow cylinder has been turned into a water filter by closing one end and keeping a small funnel at the *** of seawater(Marina Beach,Chennai,India)has been obtained both under the self pressure of seawater column in the hollow cylinder and under the difference of pressure created by enclosing the filter in a vacuum tight *** has been found that the efficiency of filtration is about two times higher under partial vacuum(~10–2 torr)created on the filtrate(water)*** filtration of seawater,a deposit in the inner surface of hollow cylinder has been *** deposit has been characterized by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis,and it has been found that the deposit was *** filtration leads to almost complete removal of NaCl from the seawater.

The wetting behavior between liquid aluminium and substrates made from industrial Al2O3 and SiC based ceramic foam filters （CFF） was investigated. The same CFF filters were also tested in plant scale filtration experiments. The wetting experiment results show that the SiC based filter material is better wetted by liquid aluminium than the Al2O3 based filter material. This indicates that the improved wetting of aluminium on a filter material is an advantage for molten metal to infiltrate the filter during priming. Also, better wetting of Al-filter might increase the removal efficiency of inclusions during filtration due to better contact between filter and metal. Non-wetted inclusions are easier to be removed.

The filtration structure of finite-dimensional special odd Hamilton superalgebras over a field of prime characteristic was studied. By determining ad-nilpotent dements in the even part, the natural filtration of special odd Hamiltonian superalgebras is proved to be invariant. Using this result, the special odd Hamilton superalgebras is classified. Finally, the automorphism group of the restricted special odd Hamilton superalgebras is determined.

This study aims to investigate the leaching behavior and filtration performance of zinc refinery residue under hydrothermal conditions. The relationships between the structure and morphology of silicon in the leaching residue and the pulp filtration performance were explored by determining the pulp filtration speed, analyzing quantitatively the silicon content in the leachate, and characterizing the leaching residue structure. The results show that hydrothermal leaching induces the coagulation–hydrolysis of the silicon in solution, consequently altering the microstructure of the leaching residue, and that silicon oxygen tetrahedra([SiO_4]^(4-)) form the main skeleton structure of the residue. The results obtained also show that the leaching rates of zinc and copper are 98.1% and 98.7%, respectively, and that the filtration speed is 526.32 L/(m^2·h) under the conditions of sulfuric acid concentration of 140 g/L, leaching temperature of 160°C, leaching time of 3.0 h, oxygen partial pressure of 0.75 MPa, stirring speed of 600 r/min, and a liquid-to-solid ratio of 10 mL/g.

This study investigated the filtration and continuous regeneration of a particulate filter system on an engine test bench, consisting of a diesel oxidation catalyst（DOC） and a catalyzed diesel particulate filter（CDPF）. Both the DOC and the CDPF led to a high conversion of NO to NO2 for continuous regeneration. The filtration efficiency on solid particle number（SPN） was close to100%. The post-CDPF particles were mainly in accumulation mode. The downstream SPN was sensitively influenced by the variation of the soot loading. This phenomenon provides a method for determining the balance point temperature by measuring the trend of SPN concentration.

Application of a hybrid gravity-driven membrane filtration and dissolved ozone flotation(MDOF)process for wastewater reclamation and membrane fouling mitigation

This study proposed a novel membrane filtration and dissolved ozone flotation integrated(MDOF) process and tested it at pilot scale. Membrane filtration in the MDOF process was operated in gravity-driven mode, and required no backwashing, flushing, or chemical cleaning. Because ozone was added in the MDOF process, ozonation, coagulation, and membrane filtration could occur in a single reactor. Moreover, in situ ozonation occurred in the MDOF process, which differs from the conventional pre-ozonation membrane filtration process. Significant enhancement of turbidity removal was further achieved through the addition of membrane filtration. Membrane fouling was mitigated in the MDOF process compared to the MDAF process. In situ ozonation in the MDOF process decreased the fluorescence intensity and transformed the high MW dissolved organics into small MW compounds. For the fouling layer, the extracellular polymeric substance(EPS) contents and cake layer morphology were analyzed. The results indicated that the contents of EPS decreased. Furthermore, a thinner and more loosely structured cake layer formed in the MDOF process. Because coagulation and ozonation occurred simultaneously in a single reactor, the generation of hydroxyl radicals was enhanced through the catalytic effect of Al-based coagulants on ozone decomposition, which further alleviated membrane fouling in the MDOF process.
