With the introduction of the“dual carbon goals,”there has been a robust development of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects in the promotion of their construction.As part of this initiative,a comprehensive and systematic analysis has been conducted to study the overall benefits of photovoltaic power generation projects.The evaluation process encompasses economic,technical,environmental,and social aspects,providing corresponding analysis methods and data references.Furthermore,targeted countermeasures and suggestions are proposed,signifying the research’s importance for the construction and development of subsequent distributed photovoltaic power generation projects.

[Objectives]Sugarcane is the most significant sugar cash crop in the tropical and subtropical regions of China.However,it is notable for its narrow genetic basis,limited trait improvement,weak adaptability of varieties,and poor planting efficiency.In order to accelerate the process of sugarcane variety replacement and expand the basis of genetic variation,interspecific hybridization and multiple mutagenesis are the most effective methods for obtaining new sugarcane varieties.The evaluation and identification of phenotypic traits of germplasm represents a significant analytical method.The"Zhongtang"series of sugarcane varieties is distinguished by its high yield and high sugar content.New sugarcane germplasms with excellent agronomic and quality traits can be identified and developed as breeding parents and new breeding lines through comprehensive evaluation of the existing germplasm.[Methods]A total of 181 new lines were selected through genetic origin and orientation,and evaluated and appraised for growth,yield,and economic characteristics.The data on 6 important agronomic and quality traits,including tillering,initial plant height,plant height,stem diameter,number of effective stems,and brix at maturity,were used to discover superior lines.These traits were evaluated during the two production seasons of the participant lines.[Results]A comprehensive evaluation of seedling growth traits and economic traits at maturity of the experimental lines identified 30 excellent new germplasms of sugarcane.Among the selected lines,1501 and 1701 exhibited superior agronomic and quality traits,rendering them suitable as parental lines for sugarcane breeding or breeding as new varieties.[Conclusions]The exemplary results obtained in this study provide a solid foundation for the improvement of sugarcane germplasm,with the goal of enhancing quality and efficiency.These findings are of great scientific and practical significance to the study of sugarcane yield and sugar-related genes,as well as the exploration of the evaluation a

Rapid bridge inspection and evaluation mainly uses information technology to test the quality of bridge infrastructure and structures,integrates the test results with the existing management system,completes the bridge status assessment,establishes information management files to provide bridge disease problem inspection and analysis,and provides support for the application of disposal measures.This paper briefly discusses the necessity of applying rapid inspection and evaluation technology and analyzes the bridge’s rapid inspection and evaluation content,inspection system,and application process.We look forward to the future application prospects of this technology and supporting those in this field.

This article reviews the theory of fairness in AI-frommachine learning to federated learning,where the constraints on precision AI fairness and perspective solutions are also discussed.For a reliable and quantitative evaluation of AI fairness,many associated concepts have been proposed,formulated and classified.However,the inexplicability of machine learning systems makes it almost impossible to include all necessary details in the modelling stage to ensure fairness.The privacy worries induce the data unfairness and hence,the biases in the datasets for evaluating AI fairness are unavoidable.The imbalance between algorithms’utility and humanization has further reinforced suchworries.Even for federated learning systems,these constraints on precision AI fairness still exist.Aperspective solution is to reconcile the federated learning processes and reduce biases and imbalances accordingly.

Frequency of and reasons behind non-listing in adult patients referred for liver transplantation: Results from a retrospective study

BACKGROUND Few studies have evaluated the frequency of and the reasons behind the refusal of listing liver transplantation candidates.AIM To assess the ineligibility rate for liver transplantation and its motivations.METHODS A single-center retrospective study was conducted on adult patients which entailed a formal multidisciplinary assessment for liver transplantation eligibility.The predictors for listing were evaluated using multivariable logistic regression.RESULTS In our center,314 patients underwent multidisciplinary work-up before liver transplantation enlisting over a three-year period.The most frequent reasons for transplant evaluation were decompensated cirrhosis(51.6%)and hepatocellular carcinoma(35.7%).The non-listing rate was 53.8%and the transplant rate was 34.4%for the whole cohort.Two hundred and five motivations for ineligibility were collected.The most common contraindications were psychological(9.3%),cardiovascular(6.8%),and surgical(5.9%).Inappropriate or premature referral accounted for 76(37.1%)cases.On multivariable analysis,a referral from another hospital(OR:2.113;95%CI:1.259–3.548)served as an independent predictor of non-listing.CONCLUSION A non-listing decision occurred in half of our cohort and was based on an inappropriate or premature referral in one case out of three.The referral from another hospital was taken as a strong predictor of non-listing.

This study aimed to explore key quality control factors that affected the prognosis of intensive care unit(ICU)patients in Chinese mainland over six years(2015–2020).The data for this study were from 31 provincial and municipal hospitals(3425 hospital ICUs)and included 2110685 ICU patients,for a total of 27607376 ICU hospitalization days.We found that 15 initially established quality control indicators were good predictors of patient prognosis,including percentage of ICU patients out of all inpatients(%),percentage of ICU bed occupancy of total inpatient bed occupancy(%),percentage of all ICU inpatients with an APACHE II score≥15(%),three-hour(surviving sepsis campaign)SSC bundle compliance(%),six-hour SSC bundle compliance(%),rate of microbe detection before antibiotics(%),percentage of drug deep venous thrombosis(DVT)prophylaxis(%),percentage of unplanned endotracheal extubations(%),percentage of patients reintubated within 48 hours(%),unplanned transfers to the ICU(%),48-h ICU readmission rate(%),ventilator associated pneumonia(VAP)(per 1000 ventilator days),catheter related blood stream infection(CRBSI)(per 1000 catheter days),catheter-associated urinary tract infections(CAUTI)(per 1000 catheter days),in-hospital mortality(%).When exploratory factor analysis was applied,the 15 indicators were divided into 6 core elements that varied in weight regarding quality evaluation:nosocomial infection management(21.35%),compliance with the Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines(17.97%),ICU resources(17.46%),airway management(15.53%),prevention of deep-vein thrombosis(14.07%),and severity of patient condition(13.61%).Based on the different weights of the core elements associated with the 15 indicators,we developed an integrated quality scoring system defined as F score=21.35%xnosocomial infection management+17.97%xcompliance with SSC guidelines+17.46%×ICU resources+15.53%×airway management+14.07%×DVT prevention+13.61%×severity of patient condition.This evidence-based quality scoring system will help in assessing the key e

The extreme rainfall event of July 17 to 22, 2021 in Henan Province, China, led to severe urban waterlogging and flood disasters. This study investigated the performance of high-resolution weather forecasts in predicting this extreme event and the feasibility of weather forecast-based hydrological forecasts. To achieve this goal, high-resolution precipitation forecasts from the Tianji weather system and the forecast system of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) were evaluated with the spatial verification metrics of structure, amplitude, and location. The results showed that Tianji weather forecasts accurately predicted the amplitude of 12-h accumulated precipitation with a lead time of 12 h. The location and structure of the rainfall areas in Tianji forecasts were closer to the observations than ECMWF forecasts. Tianji hourly precipitation forecasts were also more accurate than ECMWF hourly forecasts, especially at lead times shorter than 8 h. The precipitation forecasts were used as the inputs to a hydrological model to evaluate their hydrological applications. The results showed that the runoff forecasts driven by Tianji weather forecasts could effectively predict the extreme flood event. The runoff forecasts driven by Tianji forecasts were more accurate than those driven by ECMWF forecasts in terms of amplitude and location. This study demonstrates that high-resolution weather forecasts and corresponding hydrological forecasts can provide valuable information in advance for disaster warnings and leave time for people to act on the event. The results encourage further hydrological applications of high-resolution weather forecasts, such as Tianji weather forecasts, in the future.

Software reliability and maintainability evaluation tool (SRMET 3.0) is introducted in detail in this paper, which was developed by Software evaluation and Test Center of China Aerospace Mechanical Corporation. SRMET 3.0 is supported by seven software reliability models and four software maintainability models. Numerical characteristics for all those models are deeply studied in this paper, and corresponding numerical algorithms for each model are also given in the paper.
