Microbial community composition and environmental response characteristics of typical brackish groundwater in the North China Plain

To reveal the microbial community composition of regional shallow porous brackish groundwater and its response characteristics to groundwater environment,the first and second aquifers in Taocheng District,Hengshui City were selected,and 10 groundwater source samples were collected for hydrochemical analysis and microbial 16S RNA gene V4-V5 regional *** results showed that the shallow brackish groundwater in the study area is weakly alkaline and has high ion *** hydrochemical types are SO_(4)·Cl-Na·Mg type and HCO3·Cl-Na·Mg type as a *** spatial zonation of the abundance and diversity of groundwater microorganisms is *** number of endemic bacteria in groundwater from upstream,midstream to downstream is 11,135 and 22 respectively,with a total of 22 *** is the most dominant in groundwater level(38.82%-86.88%),and there are obvious differences in different *** the genus level,the main dominant species in each group and sample are Pseudomonas and *** terms of composition difference,Pseudohongiella,Pseudorhodobacter and Limnohabitans are the representatives of UR,MR and *** the whole,the composition of flora in groundwater in the study area is sensitive and closely related to hydrochemical *** abundance is affected by alkaline and high salinity environmental indicators,while species diversity is related to depth and dissolved oxygen in weak reduction environment.

An annually laminated stalagmite from the eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau provides evidence of climate instability during the early MIS5e in the Asian summer monsoon

The Marine Isotope Stage(MIS5e)is characterized by a warmer climate than that of the pre-industrial period,and serves as an analog for the Current Warm Period(CWP).However,uncertainties persist regarding its climatic ***,we retrieved a stalagmite(WXB075)from Wanxiang Cave in the eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau,and employed abs-olute^(230)Th dating and relative annual layer data to establish a high-precision chronological framework for reconstructing the history of the Asian summer monsoon(ASM)and environmental evolution during early MIS5e with multiple *** findings indicate that the annually laminated stalagmite was formed during Cooling Event 27(C27).The deposition of WXB075 experienced a hiatus(~125.58 ka BP)due to a significant cooling event in the North Atlantic,which may be linked to the unstable climate in the Northern ***,the impact of meltwater discharge in high northern latitudes results in a two-phase evolution of the ASM,i.e.,an initial weaker stage followed by a gradual increase(with exception of deposition hiatus).The climatic instability of ASM is generally characterized by a quasi-60 year cycle that affects vegetation conditions,biological productivity,and karst hydroclimate ***,the increase in meltwater and decrease in temperature in the Northern Hemisphere have led to a weakened ASM and subsequent reduction in ***,vegetation degradation above the cave has occurred along with a slowdown of karst *** vegetation conditions,organic matter content,and wet/drought of the karst hydroclimate were affected by both the large-scale monsoon circulation and local environment during extreme weakening(strengthening)of the monsoon when high-frequency climatic events of ASM occurred.A comparison ofδ^(18)O records between early MIS5e and the past 2000 years reveals that the climate during early MIS5e differed significantly from that of CWP,Medieval Warm Period(MWP),and Dark Age Co

The subject of the present work is the study of the relationship between the city shape and its geographical and climatic context. This is a very important feature of the Portuguese city. The Iberian Peninsula comprised by Spain and Portugal belongs to very different environments： the Atlantic and Mediterranean sea. This position is responsible for a series of highly contrasted regions. The external forces presented in each region, influence the shape, location and orientation, not only of individual buildings but of whole villages in such a way that we can identify pattems of construction in different natural regions. There is in fact, a remarkable correspondence between climate and urban type which is useful to identify for planning the different regions. The legacy of industrial city, as in other parts of the world, has changed this close connection between geography and architecture, with consequences not only in environment but especially for the identity of urban spaces. Bioclimatic urbanism is not just a question of sustainability or survival. It is also a question of local identity and variety. There is in fact a relationship between cultural process and environment responsive which we can learn from the structures of the past -- the pre-industrial city. We believe that the reinterpretation of the traditional city pattems forms a language which can be used as a design process for recovering urban landscape.

中国城市转型面临多尺度的空间重构，从社区、中心城市到都市区、城市群等不同空间尺度。一方面，每个尺度上的空间组织特征及居民行为模式彻底改变；另一方面，一系列社会环境和自然环境问题出现并累积。面对城市发展的新格局和新问题，需要依托行为研究，梳理多尺度城市空间的概念体系，揭示其形成机理，判断其环境响应，并以低碳和和谐城市为导向，提出规划策略。具体内容包括：整合GPS、手机、网络、问卷和访谈等多种行为数据，建立中国城市多时空尺度居民行为数据库；分析城市、都市区和城市群尺度的城市空间组织模式和居民行为特征，创建基于个体行为的中国城市空间理论体系和研究范式；解析多尺度城市空间组织及居民行为模式与社会矛盾和碳排放之间的关系；以社会公正、和谐和低碳为导向，提出不同尺度城市空间调整优化策略和居民行为引导策略，面向居民生活质量和城市发展可持续性的提升，推动形成多尺度的居民生活圈和城市空间单元。
