entrepreneurial orientation, Creativity, and Productivity： The Influence of Self-leadership Strategies

This study examines the influence of self-leadership strategies on the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation, creativity, and productivity. It also investigates the psychometric properties of the relatively newly developed self-leadership measurement instrument. The study involves a questionnaire-based survey of employees from a perceived innovative organisation operating in the United Arab Emirates. A total of 255 employees participated in the study. The responses were subject to a serious of factor, correlation and regression analyses using SPSS and structural equation modeling. The findings indicate that the second order factor of self-leadership behavioural-focused strategies has a significant and strong effect on entrepreneurial orientation, which in turn enhances influences on creativity and productivity. Furthermore, the second order factor of self-leadership natural reward strategies has no effect on entrepreneurial orientation, suggesting that strategies that seek work activities which are pleasant and enjoyable neither affect the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation, nor the dimensions of creativity and productivity. Results also showed that self-leadership behavioural-focused strategies accounted for 51% of the variance in entrepreneurial orientation, and 40% and 52% of the variance in creativity and productivity, respectively. The findings also showed that entrepreneurial orientation impacts significantly the dimensions of creativity and productivity. In conclusion, the findings clearly suggest that organisations should train and/or hire those employees who encompass strategies that are intended to strengthen positive, desirable behaviours, such as self-goal setting, self-observation, self-reward, self-punishment, and self-practice, if they wish to maintain and/or increase innovativeness, pro-activeness, creativity, and productivity. Directions for future research and practical implications for leadership and business approaches are discussed.

The study contextualizes the research within the regional landscape and establishes a theoretical framework through a focused literature review. Key findings highlight the intersection of entrepreneurial activities and innovation dynamics, emphasizing the region’s unique contributions to the broader field. Discussions on discrepancies and unexplored territories within the articles offer insights into limitations and research gaps. The manuscript concludes by identifying future research avenues, providing a roadmap for ongoing inquiry into the entrepreneurial and innovative dimensions of the Central Region’s industrial sector. This synthesis underscores the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative innovation strategies for sustainable industrial development in the region.

This paper analyzed the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and new product development perlormance based on the perspective of knowledge creation process. Through a questionnaire survey, we found that entrepreneurial orientation is positively related to new product performance, and knowledge creation process plays a mediating role in this relationship. This article examines the role of entrepreneurial orientation on new product innovation performance in Chinese situations, and it is the first time to check the intermediary functions on each dimension of knowledge test between entrepreneurial orientation and new product development performance.

In a highly competitive industry,it has been a best practice that dynamic capabilities guide technology firms to cope with challenging ***,knowledge creation enables the firm to condition the success and continuity of innovations,entrepreneurial orientation to support companies in winning the competition,and gamification to engage employees in a collaborative way towards better firm *** study examines how technology companies can improve their performance using gamification,knowledge creation,and entrepreneurial *** test the proposed model,we collected data using a questionnaire survey of 124 technology companies in *** theoretical model used structural equation modeling(SEM)with SmartPLS *** results show that all constructs have a direct and positive relationship,except for the direct relationship between gamification and firm ***,entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge creation are essential components of technology companies that mediate the effect of gamification on firm *** study provides a theoretical and empirical basis for the antecedents of technological firm performance.

Influence of CEO Demography on entrepreneurial orientation： The Moderating Role of Competitive Intensity

Although entrepreneurial orientation has been identified as a key facilitator of a firm＇s innovative behaviors, its antecedents, especially the determinant role of the business leader, have yet to be explored. Drawing on strategic leadership theory, which posits the role of CEO in determining a firm＇s strategic direction, we examined the influence of CEO demography, specifically age, tenure, and education, on a firm＇s entrepreneurial orientation. Based on a sample of 231 Chinese firms, we found firms with a CEO who was younger, higher educated, and with a shorter tenure on the job had a greater extent of entrepreneurial orientation. Moreover, the firm＇s competitive environment moderated these relationships.

Organizational Ambidexterity and Innovation Performance： The Moderating Effect of entrepreneurial orientation

The influence of organizational ambidexterity on innovation and the growth of enterprises has gradually become an important research topic in the field of strategic management and organization theory. This paper builds up a theoretical framework of the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and innovation performance with regards to corporate entrepreneurship orientation. We select 175 companies from high and new technology industries in China＇s three large cities, Beijing, Tianjin and Dalian, as samples to carry out an empirical test. We find that the balance and complement of organizational ambidexterity are positively correlated with the innovation performance of enterprises; a corporate entrepreneurial orientation has a significantly moderating effect on the relationship between the balance dimension of organizational ambidexterity and innovation performance, yet it has no significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between the combined dimension oforganizational ambidexterity and innovation performance.

At a time when China encourages its firms to go overseas,especially to countries and regions involved in its"Belt and Road Initiative",and sets up a favorable domestic environment for innovation and entrepreneurship,this paper is a first trial looking along both the two dimensions to test whether Chinese firms’operating performance changes after cross-border merger and acquisition(CBM&A)activities,using entrepreneurial orientation(EO)as a moderating *** paper combines data from Chinese listed firms’annual reports,Chinese stock market financial statements database and the Zephyr database from 2001 to 2015 to examine how acquirers’operating performance changes after CBM&A activities using EO as a moderating *** order to test whether the results are affected by the stock market,this paper also defines abnormal return on equity(ROE)to detect abnormal operating *** these,the paper divides the sample into separate industry groups to see whether results will *** results obtained for the whole sample show that the performance of Chinese listed firms is fluctuant after CBM&As within the sample *** increases one year after the acquisition but drops two years later and then follows an increasing trend *** moderating factor of EO is not significant for the sample as a ***,after dividing the sample into separate industry groups,it becomes clear that different industries have their own *** helps Chinese listed firms to adjust to the post-acquisition situation and even to improve their performance to some extent in the metal mining industry and the business services *** ROE is substituted with abnormal ROE,the results do not change much.

This paper empirically examines the influence of Culture on Innovativeness and Proactiveness which are key dimensions of entrepreneurial *** has long been a worldwide issues and most government have encouraged entrepreneurship in an attempt to solve this *** China in particular a number of policies are put in place to encourage young graduate locals or foreigners to self-employ,an observation insurrounding mall and acquaintances shows that most locals *** the contrary youths on the other side of the globe particularly in Cameroon suffer from what scholars have persistently criticized and named as the white collar *** is the reasons why this research aimed at unveiling the impact of Culture on entrepreneurial *** does this in a cross-cultural setting by comparing Cameroonian students residing in China and in their home *** research was designed and carried out as following,a throughout literature review was done on similar topics which enabled us to identify existing gaps in this *** went forward by putting up a research model to frame the scope of our research thus givingusandour audience a clear *** research object being students if was only natural to approach them via existing university groups both in China and *** Data where obtained from 146 administered questionnaires and Long-term orientation was adopted in stating the four hypothesis developed for this *** data were analyzed using various methods among which Descriptive Statistic,Reliability test,T-test,Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression *** findings of this study indicates that Long-term orientation has a significant positive relationship with Proactiveness and *** this study recommended that Institutions in Cameroon fosters Long-term orientation which in turn will enhance Proactiveness and Innovativeness thus lessen white collar mentality amongits youths.

Taking knowledge management and entrepreneurial orientation as variables,this study explores the impact mechanism and contextual effects of enterprise digital transformation on business model innovation,based on organization reform theory and the knowledge-based *** findings show that digital transformation has a significant and positive impact on business model innovation,that knowledge management plays an intermediary role in the impact of digital transformation on business model innovation,and that compared tolow-level entrepreneurial orientation,high-level entrepreneurial orientation strengthens the relationship between digital transformation and knowledge management,and weakens therelationship between knowledge management and business model innovation.
