We outline a scheme for entanglement swapping based on cavity QED as well as quasi-Bell state measurement(quasiBSM) methods. The atom–field interaction in the cavity QED method is performed in small and large detuning *** assume two atoms are initially entangled together and, distinctly two cavities are prepared in an entangled coherent–coherent state. In this scheme, we want to transform entanglement to the atom-field system. It is observed that, the fidelities of the swapped entangled state in the quasi-BSM method can be compatible with those obtained in the small and large detuning regimes in the cavity QED method(the condition of this compatibility will be discussed). In addition, in the large detuning regime, the swapped entangled state is obtained by detecting and quasi-BSM approaches. In the continuation,by making use of the atom–field entangled state obtained in both approaches in a large detuning regime, we show that the atomic as well as field states teleportation with complete fidelity can be achieved.

We propose a scheme to generate entanglement between two distant qubits(two-level atom)which are separately trapped in their own(in general)non-Markovian dissipative cavities by utilizing entangling swapping,considering the case in which the qubits can move along their cavity axes rather than a static state of *** first examine the role of movement of the qubit by studying the entropy evolution for each *** average entropy over the initial states of the qubit is *** by performing a Bell state measurement on the fields leaving the cavities,we swap the entanglement between qubit-field in each cavity into qubit-qubit and field-field *** entangling power is used to measure the average amount of swapped entanglement over all possible pure initial *** results are presented in two weak and strong coupling regimes,illustrating the positive role of movement of the qubits on the swapped *** is revealed that by considering certain conditions for the initial state of qubits,it is possible to achieve a maximally long-leaving stationary entanglement(Bell state)which is entirely independent of the environmental variables as well as the velocity of *** happens when the two qubits have the same velocities.

A novel quantum dual signature scheme, which combines two signed messages expected to be sent to two diverse receivers Bob and Charlie, is designed by applying entanglement swapping with coherent states. The signatory Alice signs two different messages with unitary operations（corresponding to the secret keys） and applies entanglement swapping to generate a quantum dual signature. The dual signature is firstly sent to the verifier Bob who extracts and verifies the signature of one message and transmits the rest of the dual signature to the verifier Charlie who verifies the signature of the other message. The transmission of the dual signature is realized with quantum teleportation of coherent states. The analysis shows that the security of secret keys and the security criteria of the signature protocol can be greatly *** extensional multi-party quantum dual signature scheme which considers the case with more than three participants is also proposed in this paper and this scheme can remain secure. The proposed schemes are completely suited for the quantum communication network including multiple participants and can be applied to the e-commerce system which requires a secure payment among the customer, business and bank.

Using entanglement swapping of high-level Bell states, we first derive a covert layer between the secret message and the possible output results of the entanglement swapping between any two generalized Bell states, and then propose a novel high-efficiency quantum information hiding protocol based on the covert layer. In the proposed scheme, a covert channel can be built up under the cover of a high-level quantum secure direct communication （QSDC） channel for securely transmitting secret messages without consuming any auxiliary quantum state or any extra communication resource. It is shown that this protocol not only has a high embedding efficiency but also achieves a good imperceptibility as well as a high security.

entanglement swapping is a key technology for multi-hop communication based on entanglement in quantum networks. However, the end-to-end delay of the traditional sequential entanglement swapping (SEQES) grows rapidly withthe increase of network scale. To solve this problem, we first propose a low-delay multi-particle simultaneous entanglementswapping (SES) scheme to establish the remote four-particle Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) channel states for thebidirectional teleportation of three-particle GHZ states, in which the intermediate nodes perform Bell state measurements,send the measurement results and the Bell state type to the user node Bob (or Alice) through classical channel simultaneously. Bob (or Alice) only needs to carry out a proper unitary operation according to the information he (or she) hasreceived. Further, we put forward a hierarchical simultaneous entanglement swapping (HSES) scheme to reduce the classical information transmission cost, which is composed of level-1 SES and level-2 SES (schemes). The former is an innersegment SES, and the latter is an inter segments SES. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show the HSES can obtainthe optimal performance tradeoff between end-to-end delay and classical cost.

This paper proposes a scheme where entanglement swapping between atom and cavity can be realized. A-type three-level atoms interacting resonantly with cavity field are considered. By detecting atom and cavity field, it realizes entanglement swapping between atom and cavity. It uses the technique of entanglement swapping to generate an entangled state of two cavity fields by measuring on atoms. It discusses the experimental feasibility of the proposed scheme and application of entangled state of cavity fields.

The security of quantum secret sharing based on entanglement swapping is revisited and a participant attack is presented. In this attack two dishonest agents together can illegally recover the secret quantum state without the help of any other controller, and it will not be detected by any other users. Furthermore, by modifying the distribution process of particles and adding a detection step after each distribution process, we propose an improved protocol which can resist this kind of attack.

In this paper an arbitrated quantum signature scheme based on entanglement swapping is proposed. In this scheme a message to be signed is coded with unitary operators. Combining quantum measurement with quantum encryption, the signer can generate the signature for a given message. Combining the entangled states generated by the TTP＇s Bell measurement with the signature information, the verifier can verify the authentication of a signature through a single quantum state measurement. Compared with previous schemes, our scheme is more efficient and less complex, furthermore, our scheme can ensure the anonymity of the signer.
