Eigenvalue-solution to those Hamiltonians involving non-commutative coordinates is not easily obtained. In this paper we apply the invariant eigen-operator （IEO） method to solving the energy spectrmn of the three-mode harmonic oscillator in non-commutative space with the coordinate operators satisfying cyclic commutative relations, [X1, X2] = [X2, X3]=[X3, X1] = iθ, and this method seems effective and concise.

Nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)under ambient conditions is always a long-standing challenge in science,due to the extreme difficulty in breaking the strong N≡N triple *** key to resolving this issue undoubtedly lies in searching superior catalysts to efficiently activate and hydrogenate the stable nitrogen *** herein evaluate the feasibility of WP_(2) for N2 activation and reduction,and first demonstrate WP_(2) with an impressive ammonia yield rate of 7.13 lg h^(-1)cm^(-2),representing a promising W-based catalyst for *** analysis further reveals that the NRR catalysis on WP_(2) proceeds in a distal reaction pathway,and the exceptional NRR activity is originated from superior surface electron energy level matching between WP_(2) and NRR potential which facilitates the interfacial proton-coupled electron transfer *** successfully unraveling the intrinsic catalytic mechanism of WP_(2) for NRR could offer a powerful platform to manipulate the NRR activity by tuning the electron energy levels.

Effects of surface chemistry on energy levels or optical properties of semiconductor nanocrystals have attracted considerable attention and show great promise in broad ***,it remains challenging to controllably tune the photoluminescence(PL)of quantum dots(QDs)by manipulating surface ***,we investigated effects of the ligand,glutathione(GSH),on PL properties of near-infrared(NIR)Ag_(2)Se QDs by“on-surface”manipulation,that is,precisely manipulating the chelating group without dissociating the ligand from the *** anchoring of the amino group was found to be controlled by solution pH,whereas the binding of the thiol group to the Ag+was pH independent,maintaining the“on-surface”state of *** tuning the pH-controlled binding of amino groups,the energy level or the bandgap of Ag2Se QDs could be increased by up to 140 *** increased bandgap resulted in the blueshift of PL spectrum,which could be reversibly tuned by up to 75 *** pH-mediated tunable PL properties of QDs could also be extended to other nitrogen-containing pH-sensitive groups which could coordinate to the Ag+,not limited to the amino *** work would facilitate the study of nanocrystal surface chemistry and our model that the binding of amino groups affected energy levels of Ag2Se QDs might facilitate new insights into the electronic structure and energy level of other QD-ligand complexes.

The capability of shifting the electricity generation or consumption to proper time of the day,also defined as energy shift(ES),is the key factor to ensure the power balance,especially under high penetration of variable renewable energy(VRE).However,the ES is not characterized and traded as an independent product in current market *** this letter,the marginal utility of an ES is assessed and leveraged to characterize the effective ES,while a novel market scheme is proposed considering the trading of both ES and energy level(EL).The proposed scheme can well integrate ES producers such as virtual power plants that cannot be rewarded sufficiently to actively participate in the current market because they are principally labeled as EL ***,the novel concept and mechanism are illustrated by a numerical study and verified to outperform the existing price schemes on integrating the ES resources and VRE.

A total of 36 four-mon-old hybrid lambs （Dorset×Thin-tailed Han sheep） with similar body weight （BW） were randomly allocated to three dietary treatments with different energy （7.21, 10.33 and 13.49 MJ d-1 ME） but similar protein levels. The animals were slaughtered and subcutaneous fat, longissimus dorsi muscle, femoral biceps muscle and cardiac muscle tissue samples were taken after being treated for 40 d. The samples were then subjected to quantitative PCR to determine mRNA expression of hormone-sensitive lipase （HSL） in different tissues in the laboratory. The findings showed that the abundance of HSL mRNA decreased with the elevation of dietary energy. In the subcutaneous fatty tissue, the HSL mRNA levels showed significant differences among the three groups （P〈0.01）; in the longissimus dorsi and femoral biceps muscles, the HSL mRNA level in the low energy group was significantly higher than that in the moderate and high energy groups （P〈0.01）. In the cardiac muscle, the HSL mRNA level in the moderate energy group was significantly different from the low and high energy groups （P〈0.05）. The number of HSL copies （Qty） in different tissues of sheep was different, it was greater in the subcutaneous fat than in longissimus dorsi muscle, femoral biceps muscle and heart.

1.5at% Eu-doped GaN powders were prepared by a co-precipitation *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)results shows that there is only the wurtzite *** spectra were measured at room temperature and liquid nitrogen temperature,*** band-to-band luminescence of GaN was shifted from 373 nm to 368 nm with the temperature decreasing from room temperature to liquid nitrogen *** luminescence peaks at 537,557,579,590,597,614,653 and 701 nm are attributed to the Eu ions related transitions in the host of GaN powders and the peak positions were not influenced by the variation of *** the increase of accelerating voltage,the intensity of all luminescence peaks was *** strongest luminescence peak at 614 nm shows non-symmetrical shape and is composed of 612,615 and 621 nm through Lorentzian fitting,which indicates there are oxygen and nitrogen environments of the Eu3+ions in the Eu-doped GaN powders.

With the Breit interaction and quantum electrodynamics corrections considered, relativistic configuration interaction calculations have been carried out in the extended optimal level scheme using multi-configuration Dirac-Fock wave functions on the 204 energy levels and electric dipole transitions of Ar XIV. The results of electric dipole transitions are in good agreement with experiments. Among the energy levels calculated, the lowest 125 levels are in good agreement with available experimental and other theoretical ones, and the other 79 levels are new ones obtained by the present work. This wide range of atomic energy levels is useful in astrophysics and plasma physics.

Engineering of energy levels for Fully Conjugated D-A Block Copolymers via Tuning the Ratios of Donor P3HT and Acceptor PNDIT

Fully conjugated donor-acceptor （D-A） block copolymers, P3HT-b-PNDIT, containing p-type poly（3-hexylthio- phene）（P3HT） and n-type poly（naphthalene bismide）（PNDIT） segments are synthesized in a one-pot reaction via Stille coupling polycondensation. Various D-A block copolymers with low polydispersities （1.42--1.56） are ob- tained through further separation via preparative GPC. The structural and molecular features of block copolymers are verified by 1H NMR, FTIR spectra, UV-Vis absorption, differential scanning calorimetry （DSC） and cyclic voltammetry （CV）. It is found that optical and electrochemical properties of D-A block copolymers are strongly de- pendent on the combination ratio of the donor P3HT and acceptor PNDIT segment. By reducing the acceptor block lengths, the highest occupied molecular orbital （HOMO） energy levels of D-A block copolymers sequentially rise, leading to the sequential decrease of energy gaps. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on engineer- ing the energy levels of fully conjugated D-A block copolymers by tuning donor and acceptor chain lengths. More- over, compared to D/A polymer blends, the all-conjugated D-A block copolymer films show significant fine struc- tures and much smoother film morphologies.
