A desktop customised 3D printer with dual extruders to produce electronic circuitry

In the field of fault diagnosis of electronic circuits, because of the complexity of the electronic equipments and instability of the running environment, the single diagnosis result may be uncertain. The uncertainty can reduce the veracity of fault diagnosis. Data fuse technique provides a new path for this problem. A method which can deal with the result of the K node diagnosis, direct current analysis, and alternating current impedance characteristics is proposed in this paper. Fault diagnosis of analog circuits based on D-S Evidence theory is introduced and the distribution of credibility of the various methods is given in the paper. According to the theory analysis and the simulation result, the proposed method can reduce fuzzy obviously and raises the accuracy of fault diagnosis though fusing useful information provided by different diagnosis methods.

3D printing has opened new horizons for the manufacturing industry in general, and 3D printers have become the tools for technological advancements. There is a huge divide between the pricing of industrial and desktop 3D printers with the former being on the expensive side capable of producing excellent quality products and latter being on the low-cost side with moderate quality results. However, there is a larger room for improvements and enhancements for the desktop systems as compared to the industrial ones. In this paper, a desktop 3D printer called Prusa Mendel i2 has been modified and integrated with an additional extruder so that the system can work with dual extruders and produce bespoke electronic circuits. The communication between the two extruders has been established by making use of the In-Chip Serial Program- ming port on the Arduino Uno controlling the printer. The biggest challenge is to control the flow of electric paint （to be dispensed by the new extruder） and CFD （Computa- tional Fluid Dynamics） analysis has been carried out to ascertain the optimal conditions for proper dispensing. The final product is a customised electronic circuit with the base of plastic （from the 3D printer＇s extruder） and electronic paint （from the additional extruder） properly dispensed to create a live circuit on a plastic platform. This low-cost enhancement to a desktop 3D printer can provide a new prospect to produce multiple material parts where the additional extruder can be filled with any material that can be properly dispensed from its nozzle.

We consider a model that contains two coupled superconducting charge qubits by sharing a large Josephson junction. We examine the dynamical properties of the linear entropy of two qubits and the probability of both qubits being in an excited state. The results show that the initial mean photon number, the initial phase of the field and the relative phase of the two qubits＇ levels play an important role in the evolution of the linear entropy of the two qubits and the probability.

Chua ＇s circuit with a slow-fast effect is established under certain parameter conditions. The dynamics of this slow- fast system is investigated. A spiking phenomenon can be observed in the numerical simulation. By introducing slow-fast analysis and a generalized Jacobian matrix at the non-smooth boundaries, the bifurcation mechanism for the periodic spiking solution, different from the smooth case, is discussed.

Effect of N2 Plasma Annealing of Properties of Fluoring Doped Silicon Dioxide Films with Low Dielectric Constant for Ultra—Large—Scale Integrated circuits

The influence of N2 plasma annealing on the properties of fluorine doped silicon oxide (SiOF) films is investigated. The stability of the dielectric constant of SiOF film is remarkably improved by the N2 plasma annealing. After enduring a moisture absorption test for six hours in a chamber with 60% humidity at 50°C, the dielectric constant variation of the annealed SiOF films is only 1.5%, while the variation for those SiOF films without annealing is 15.5%. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic results show that the absorption peaks of Si-OH and H-OH of SiOF films are reduced after the N2 plasma annealing because the annealing can wipe off some unstable Si-F2 bonds in SiOF films. These unstable Si-F2 bonds are suitable to react with water, resulting in the degradation of SiOF film properties. Therefore, the N2 plasma annealing meliorates the properties of SiOF films with low dielectric constant.

It is well known that multiple superconducting charge qubits coupled to a transmission line resonator can be controlled to achieve quantum logic gates between two arbitrary qubits. We propose a scheme to realize a quantum conditional phase gate with a geometric property by circuit electrodynamics, and it is applied naturally to reaJize the quantum Fourier transform with high fidelity. It is also demonstrated that the application is feasible and considerable under the present experimental technology.

In this paper, we study the robust leader-following consensus problem for a class of multi-agent systems with unknown nonlinear dynamics and unknown but bounded disturbances. The control input of the leader agent is nonzero and not available to any follower agent. We first consider a class of high order chain integrator-type multi-agent *** employing the robust integral of the sign of the error technique, a continuous distributed control law is constructed using local information obtained from neighboring agents. Using Lyapunov analysis theory, we show that under a connected undirected information communication topology, the proposed protocol achieves semiglobal leader-following consensus. We then extend the approach to a class of more general uncertain multiagent systems. A numerical example is given to verify our proposed protocol.
