easyqad based on QAD-CGGP-A（RSICC-CCC-645,USA）code has been developed for radiation shielding calculation by using MATLAB version ***-CGGP-A is a point-kernel code for calculating fast-neutron and gamma penetration through various shield configurations defined by combinatorial geometry（CG）*** can provide the convenient environment to describe various geometrical configurations and to evaluate 3-D dose distributions on the geometrical *** prevents users from making a potential input mistake through debugging the user input *** addition,many additional features have been incorporated such as interactive source configuration,convenient geometry modification,and graphical display of shielding *** consists of four modules such as GEOMETRY,INPUT,OUTPUT,and *** GEOMETRY module is developed for visualizing and debugging user geometry data,and producing the geometry card for QAD-CGGP-A code.A complicated 3-D structure for shielding calculation can easily be produced through the use of graphical user interface provided by GEOMETRY *** INPUT module enables user to easily configure the source term and many variables related to the *** calculations are performed under the control of SHIELD *** OUTPUT module can display and plot the results such as flux,dose,and heat calculated by the *** OUTPUT module provides the convenient environment to easily analyze the original output produced by *** of the easyqad modules were transformed into C++ language to make a stand-alone program operated on Windows XP *** code was tested on a Pentium-IV computer under Windows XP environment.
