The strengths and weaknesses of different online technologies and learning methods have been examined by combining the blended learning program with practical work on institutional e-learning projects. There are differences between the traditional e-learning system and the new e-learning 2.0 training. At present time, the new technologies provided by Web 2.0 better correspond to the needs of both students and teaching staff. The new Web 2.0 allows the "promoting of individual creativity", together with the "use of collective intelligence". A comparison of the two development stages of the e-learning tools has been completed and the advantages of e-learning 2.0 are shown. The main components of Web 2.0 are provided and the use of wiki as an up-to-date collaboration tool for on-line teamwork is shown.

This paper describes the implementation of the e-learning system at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, National University of Mongolia. The paper includes in-house development of edunet 1.0 e-learning system, comparative analysis on LMS, evaluation methodology, selection of e-learning systems, and comparative analysis on implementation of edunet, Moodle and Canvas systems.

In order to train nurses to perform disease management and telenursing, we developed an e-learning education program, and assessed the efficacy. A single-group pre-test and post-test design was used. Nurses who worked at a medical institution or a disease management company were included, and the duration of the program was set 2 months. We developed the program so that it could grow attitude and improve knowledge and skills in disease management and patient education. Of 55 subjects, 48 who completed the program were analyzed. After the program, subjects increased knowledge and interests in disease management and patient education. Almost of the subjects answered that e-learning was a good learning method. Our program was effective at enhancing subject’s interests in disease management and patient education, and considered to improve their skills in the future.

Improving learning outcome has always been an important motivating factor in educational inquiry. In a blended learning environment where e-learning and traditional face to face class tutoring are combined, there are opportunities to explore the role of technology in improving student’s grades. A student’s performance is impacted by many factors such as engagement, self-regulation, peer interaction, tutor’s experience and tutors’ time involvement with students. Furthermore, e-course design factors such as providing personalized learning are an urgent requirement for improved learning process. In this paper, an artificial neural network model is introduced as a type of supervised learning, meaning that the network is provided with example input parameters of learning and the desired optimized and correct output for that input. We also describe, by utilizing e-learning interactions and social analytics how to use artificial neural network to produce a converging mathematical model. Then students’ performance can be efficiently predicted and so the danger of failing in an enrolled e-course should be reduced.

e="text-align:justify;"> Supporting higher education with modern technologies like e-learning is very important for one country to improve quality of education, to meet student’s expectations and to continue teaching-learning and training when face to face education is impossible. However, it is in its preliminary stage in developing countries like ethiopia. This study examined the enabling factors, difficulties and opportunities of e-learning implementation in Assosa University (ASU), ethiopia. Its purpose is to find the enabling factors, difficulties and opportunities of e-learning implementation in ASU and developing prototype of e-learning system to show its practicality and to identify approaches of students’ and lecturers towards e-learning. The study employed questionnaires, observation and interview to gather the required information. A sample of 309 students and 64 Lecturers randomly selected from 7 colleges and two schools as well as ICT workers and other concerned bodies in the university. Also prototyping as a methodology was used to implement and test the proposed system for proof of concept. This study investigating the possibility of implementing e-learning in ASU and important enablers, difficulties and opportunities is identified. Also the e-learning platform of the university is developed and introduced for students and lecturers to show its practicality. Most students and lecturers showed good motivation in e-learning implementation and they assumed that it is useful for the university. The result shows that although there are difficulties to implement e-learning in ASU, the possibility of fully implementing e-learning in the University is relatively high with mixed method. With this, the approaches of students and lecturers are positively viewed and the opportunities are very noticeable in the University. Scientific research projects aim to produce new knowledge generally in domains of high specialization.Some of these projects have goals of improving the performance of companies.In this case,the issues of the capitalization and transfer of scientific knowledge and its rapid transformation into professional skills are directly addressed.However,there is no method to derive e-learning teaching material from project results.So,this paper presents the e-LITe Method and its application to the ISTA3 project to support the process of developing a e-learning training.This application has allowed us to highlight the contributions of the method that promotes better knowledge sharing between partners of a research project and the development and transfer of research results to the professional world.So,after the presentation of the method,an application to the ISTA3 project will be presented.

Business simulation games are considered as effective tools for the empowerment and mediation of business content learning. They act as serious games which contribute to learning through a simulation of real-life situations and busi-ness environments. They are especially useful in the area of business management processes and business strategies. The blending of designed simulation technology and content curricula offers participants (players, students) a risk-free opportunity to test out a range of relevant strategies to drive business results. By customizing computer-based business simulations, participants can integrate key strategic and financial priorities. This paper provides a brief review of busi-ness simulations that serve learning purposes. The first part presents a short introduction and description of business games and their evaluation properties, and the second part provides a brief evaluation and analysis of selected business simulation games.

e-learning环境学习资源及活动设计的归宿是实现深度有效学习。研究利用网络自我效能感量表与修订的网络深度学习量表,从整体描述性统计、网络自我效能感与深度学习在不同自变量(性别、年级、户籍所在地、学业水平、在线时间)上的差异以及网络自我效能感与深度学习相关性等三方面展开实证探索,并对研究结果进行归纳与分析。研究认为网络自我效能感对深度学习具有预测作用,两者之间存在显著正相关。具体表现在:网络自我效能感在中低水平内和深度学习呈现显著线性相关;网络自我效能感在中高水平内,深度学习增幅呈现下降趋势,两者呈现线性相关。
