Leveraging core capabilities and environmental dynamism for food traceability and firm performance in a food supply chain: A moderated mediation model

This paper develops a moderated mediation model in which the interactive effects of food traceability and environmental dynamism on firm performance are mediated by the core capabilities(operating capabilities and marketing capabilities)in food supply chain context, by invoking the indirect view of organizational learning theory. Our hypotheses were tested using hierarchical regression and bootstrapping methods with a sample of 216 food manufacturing firms in China, and a survey-based, two-informant design was used to collect data. The results revealed that operating and marketing capabilities fully mediate the food traceability-performance link. In addition, environmental dynamism positively moderates the food traceability-core capabilities link. Moreover, it is found that operating and marketing capabilities transform the interactive impacts of environmental dynamism and food traceability into firm performance. Our study offers a fine-grained picture of the essential food traceability-performance link by revealing for the first time that there is an interactive impacts of food traceability and environmental dynamism on firm performance via core capabilities.

Framework flexibility is one of the most important characteristics of metal–organic frameworks(MOFs),which is not only interesting, but also useful for a variety of applications. Designing, tailoring or controlling framework flexibility of MOFs is much more difficult than for static structural features such as the framework topology and pore size/shape. Nevertheless, with in-depth understanding of the relationship between framework flexibility and the host framework structure, guest loading and other aspects such as the crystal size/morphology and external physical environment, some strategies have been developed for controlling the flexibility of MOFs and the corresponding properties, which are summarized and discussed in this review.

The Compound F^2-index and the Compound H-index as Extension of the f^2 and h-indexes from a Dynamic Perspective

Purpose: Elaboration of an indicator to include the dynamic aspect of citations in bibliometric ***/methodology/approach: A new bibliometric methodology—the f^2-index—is applied at the career level and at the level of the recent 5 years to analyze the dynamic aspect of bibliometrics. The method is applied, as an illustration, to the field of corporate ***: The compound F^2-index as an extension of the f^2-index recognizes past achievements but also values new research work with potential. The method is extended to the h-index and the h^2-index. An activity index is defined as the ratio between the recent h'-index to the career *** limitations: The compound F^2 and H-indexes are PAC, probably approximately correct, and depend on the selection and *** implications: The F^2-and H compound indexes allow identifying the rising stars of a field from a dynamic perspective. The activity ratio highlights the contribution of younger ***/value: The new methodology demonstrates the underestimated dynamic capacity of bibliometric research.
