2006年Twitter出现之后即被认为是最重要的社交媒体之一。与博客等社交媒体不同,Twitter的字数被控制在140个字符之内,字数的限制使得Twitter的文本体现出气特有的语言特征,值得研究。2017年当选上总统的donald trump以其独特的语言风格著称,而他在Twitter也是相当活跃的一个用户,在Twitter上发表了大量对于中国的看法。作者运用Martin的评价理论,试图找出态度资源在donald trump针对中国发表的Twitter语言中的特征和规律。评价理论包括三个子系统:态度、介入和级差。在收集并分析了donald trump从2011年至2014年之间发表含关键字“中国”的Twitter之后,关于态度资源在其中的分布有以下发现:1、donald trump的Twitter语料中含大量态度资源,但是分布并不均匀,判断资源最多,其次是鉴赏资源,最后才是情感资源。2、态度资源在donald trump的Twitter语言中不可或缺,但是消极性的态度资源大大超过了积极性的态度资源。3、donald trump的Twitter中大部分都是显性态度资源,但是隐性态度资源也有一定的比重。通过研究得出结论,donald trump在发表针对中国的Twitter中,更多的是对事件的客观判断而非情感的表达,从而达到他与民众联系更紧密,为之后参选总统打下基础。文章由六个章节组成,第一章介绍研究背景、研究意义、研究问题以及论文的结构框架。第二章文献综述回顾了评价理论的发展,并对关于网络语言和Twitter语言的研究进行了简要回顾。第三章是理论框架,介绍了研究采用的理论框架、核心概念。第四章介绍了论文设计、研究方法和研究步骤。第五章是数据分析,并对分析结果进行了解释。第六章是全文主要内容的总结,叙述了论文的结论和意义,表明了研究的局限性以及进一步研究工作的建议。

The following paper seeks to understand donald trump as a“dialectical image”for the contradictions of neoliberal ***’s management style,as described in his Art o f the Deal,combines a fetishizing of entrepreneurial risk as a“lifestyle”with the insistence that it is not the entrepreneur but his targets who are ultimately exposed to *** suggests that we might understand the elevation of“deal-making”to a lifestyle as a characteristic of modernity that,with neoliberalism,is increasingly coming to the *** a critique of modernity,I further argue,is anticipated by Fichte's Closed Commercial State with its intriguing dialectic of risk.I conclude by arguing that trump's politics marks the rise of a new,specifically American style of Fascism--one that demands identification not with the state as supra-individual collective,but with an impersonal system governing over individual lives and rendering them precarious.

Digital Mobilization and Politicization of <i>El Caminata del Migrante</i>

Social media have become an important communication tool and backstage for the dissemination of information for Honduran migrants seeking political asylum and international refugee status in the United States at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry. This nonmainstream structure of communication can be conceived as a type of counterargument to international border policies. In this essay, I examine how Bartolo Fuentes’s Caminata del Migrante post digitally informed migrant decision making processes, enforced migrant solidarity, and spurred a digital heterotopia providing a back and forth sharing of opinions and information between migrants, political actors, advocacy groups, and the press.
