The species of the genus Chrysotus Meigen from Shanxi, China are reviewed, Two species are described as new to science： C. shanxiensis sp. nov. and C. thornpenis sp. nov. C. biprojicienus Wei ＆ Zhang and C. serratus Wang ＆ Yang are recorded from Shanxi for the first time. A key to the species of Chrysotus from Shanxi is presented.

迅长足虻属TachytrechusHaliday1851是个大属，全球已知125种。分布于除极地外的六个动物地理区，但主要是新热带区（64种）和全北区（53种）。中国的迅长足虹属仅知5种，3种产自北方地区，2种产自台湾。本文为该属又增添了4个新成员：隐迅长足红***，***．类迅长足虻***，***．静迅长足虻***，***．及异芒迅长足虻***，***。文中在全面综述新种的共有特性的基础上提出各新种的鉴别特征，近缘关系并附详细的鉴别特征图及中国已知种检索表。
