The Bukit Timah Granite(BTG)formation is widely distributed in the central and northern parts of Singapore *** BTG rocks in the formation vary from granite to *** hybrid rocks and dykes are also present in the *** granite is in various states of fracturing and weathering,ranging from residual soils to intact,unweathered fresh *** paper presents some mechanical and physical properties of Singapore BTG rocks,based on data from the Factual Geotechnical Reports of more than 200 boreholes from Downtown Line stage II(DTL2)sites of Cashew,Hillview,Bukit Panjang and Beauty *** variations of the parameters,including the unconfined compressive strength(UCS),the point-load strength index(I_(s50)),the Cerchar abrasivity index(CAI),and the slake-durability index are derived from laboratory tests on samples from borelogs of different *** empirical correlations between the UCS and I_(s50) and between the CAI and the strength parameters(UCS and I_(s50))are derived and validated against the commonly adopted *** information,including the average values,the standard deviations,and the coefficients of variation,are provided for these *** statistics provide a useful reference for numerical simulations and future projects involving BTG rocks.

Black swan events such as the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak cause substantial supply chain disruption risks to modern companies. In today’s turbulent and complex business environment, supply chain resilience and robustness as two critical capabilities for firms to cope with disruptions have won substantial attention from both the academia and industry. Accordingly, this study intends to explore how digitalization helps build supply chain resilience and robustness. Adopting organizational information processing theory, it proposes the mediating effect of supply chain collaboration and the moderating effect of formal contracts. Using survey data of Chinese manufacturing firms, the study applied structural equation modelling to test the research model. Results show that digitalization has a direct effect on supply chain resilience, and supply chain collaboration can directly facilitate both resilience and robustness. Our study also indicates a complementary mediating effect of supply chain collaboration on the relationship between digitalization and supply chain resilience and an indirect-only mediation effect on the relationship between digitalization and supply chain robustness. Findings reveal the differential roles of digitalization as a technical factor and supply chain collaboration as an organizational factor in managing supply chain disruptions. Paradoxically, formal contracts enhance the relationship between digitalization and supply chain resilience but weaken the relationship between supply chain collaboration and supply chain resilience. The validation of moderating effects determines the boundary conditions of digitalization and supply chain collaboration and provides insights into governing supply chain partners’ behavior. Overall, this study enhances the understanding on how to build a resilient and robust supply chain.

The problem of digital controlling of high frequency microplasma arc welding machine has been solved through Fujitsu 16-bits single-chip processor *** welding power sources and their control systems,digital sequential control system,and digital man-machine interaction system were included in digital microplasma arc welding machine ***,which is about digital sequential control system,digital man-machine interaction system,digital controller and its interface,and controlling software program,were *** has been showed that full digitalization of high frequency microplasma arc welding machine was fulfilled,minimum welding current of the machine is 0.05A,and arc is stable and can been started unfailingly.

Regional inequality significantly influences sustainable development and human *** China,there exists pronounced regional disparities in economic and digital advancements;however,scant research delves into the interplay between *** analyzing the economic development and digitalization gaps at regional and city levels in China,extending the original Cobb-Douglas production function,this study aims to evaluate the impact of digitalization on China's regional inequality using seemingly unrelated *** results indicate a greater emphasis on digital inequality compared to economic disparity,with variable coefficients of 0.59 for GDP per capita and 0.92 for the digitalization index over the past four ***,GDP per capita demonstrates higher spatial concentration than ***,both disparities have shown a gradual reduction in recent *** southeastern region of the Hu Huanyong Line exhibits superior levels and rates of economic and digital advancement in contrast to the northwestern *** digitalization propels economic growth,it yields a nuanced impact on achieving balanced regional development,encompassing both positive and negative *** study highlights that the marginal utility of advancing digitalization is more pronounced in less developed regions,but only if the government invests in the digital infrastructure and education in these *** study's methodology can be utilized for subsequent research,and our findings hold the potential to the government's regional investment and policy-making.

This paper establishes indicators to measure the degree of digitalization of enterprises with the text mining method,based on the 2011‒2018 annual report of China’s listed non-high-tech manufacturing companies,and in the resource-based view to investigate how digital resources affect the performance of enterprises during the digitalization *** empirical results show that digitalization affects enterprise performance through management and sales *** impact of management and sales offset each other so that the total impact of digitalization degree on performance is not *** study also finds that the scale can strengthen the impact between digitalization and performance,yet the digitalization subsidies will lessen the ***,China’s non-high-tech manufacturing enterprises are still in the primary stage of digitalization,and the performance of digitalization in business model innovation is canceled out by management imbalance.

Proton exchange membrane(PEM)fuel cell has been regarded as a promising approach to the decarbonization and diversification of energy *** recent years,durability and cost issues of PEM fuel cells are increasingly significant with the rapid increase of power ***,the failure to maintain the cell consistency,as one major cause of the above issue,has attracted little ***,this study intends to figure out the underlying cause of cell inconsistency and provide solutions to it from the perspective of multi-physics transport coupled with electrochemical *** PEM fuel cells with electrodes under two compression modes are firstly discussed to fully explain the relationship of cell performance and consistency to electrode structure and multi-physics *** result indicates that one main cause of cell inconsistency is the intrinsic conflict between the separated transport and cooperated consumption of oxygen and electron throughout the active ***,a mixed-pathway electrode design is proposed to reduce the cell inconsistency by enhancing the mixed transport of oxygen and electron in the *** is found that the mixing of pathways in electrodes at under-rib region is more effective than that at the under-channel region,and can achieve an up to 40%reduction of the cell inconsistency with little(3.3%)sacrificed *** addition,all the investigations are implemented based on a self-developed digitalization platform that reconstructs the complex physical–chemical system of PEM fuel *** fully observable physical information of the digitalized cells provides strong support to the related analysis.
