In-vivo fluorescence molecular tomography based on optimal small animal surface reconstruction

Accurate small animal surface reconstruction is important for full angle non-contact fluorescence molecular tomography （FMT） systems. In this letter, an optimal surface reconstruction method for FMT is proposed. The proposed method uses a line search method to minimize the mismatch between the reconstructed three- dimensional （3D） surface and the projected object silhouette at different angles. The results show that the mean mismatches of the 3D surfaces generated on three live anesthetized mice are all less than two charge coupled device （CCD） pixels （0.154 mm）. With the accurately reconstructed 3D surface, in-vivo FMT is also performed.

It is difficult to realize real-time measurement of exterior attitude by the traditional systems based on the area image sensor which have conflict between speed and accuracy. The subsystem for three-dimensional （3D） coordinate reconstruction of point target （S3DCRPT） which is composed of three one-dimensional （1D） cameras based on linear charge-coupled device （CCD） can determine the distant light spots＇ spatial position. The attitude angle of the measured object is determined by the spatial solution while the coordinate reconstruction is separately carried on by the S3DCRPT with some point cooperation targets （PCTs） on the measured object. A new optical system is designed to solve the interference problem with one-to-one relationship between the PCTs and the S3DCRPT optical subsystems, which improves the measurement accuracy and saves space. The mathematical model of the attitude measurement is established, and partial and global calibrations are realized for the multi-camera attitude measurement system. The test results show the feasibility of the exterior attitude measurement based on linear CCD.

Pearlescent coatings become highly popular to the modern generation of color rendering materials due to their unique color effect. However, it is quite challenging to evaluate its color appearance by traditional color measurement. A low-cost camera is a highly efficient device for multi-geometry color appearance estimation for pearlescent bottles, which has been achieved through the camera characterization, sample image capturing, and then mathematical transforming from RGB （red, green, and blue） values to color appearance attributes based on the color appearance model of CIECAM02. A tele-spectroradiometer for physical measurement together with visual assessment is applied for comparison with the camera method to evaluate the accuracy of camera predictions and discuss the applicability of CIECAM02. The experimental results indicate that the camera data have strong correlation with the physical measurement and also fit well with visual data except for a slight slope shift existing in lightness due to a divinable psychophysical magnitude variation for spatial-dependent color samples. Hence it is feasible to estimate the color appearance of pearlescent bottles using a digital camera.

The growing class of personal multimedia devices （camera phone,digital camera,portable desk-tops,audio-and video-based multimedia products） as well as imaging systems and multimedia communication systems,that demand real-time processing capability with low power consumption,becomes one driving factor for developing efficient video processing and compression techniques with low power *** a state-of-the-art video coding standard which offers a powerful set of coding tools to meet the demands of various applications,H.264 extends its profile and also thinks about starting a new project which may be called as "H.265" to meet the demands of video contents with higher resolution,higher bit depths and color sampling *** compression efficiency and lower power consumption are the two major challenges for the current development in video processing and coding *** this talk,a brief overview of H.264 and its extensions will first be provided with the analysis on the performance relationships among *** emerging possibilities for new coding techniques will be ***,video processing and compression techniques targeting the objective of real-time and low-power processing are presented for different kinds of multimedia applications like smart car,video telephony,video surveillance,high definition video broadcast and *** the different kinds of applications result in diversity in video content,the techniques are designed accordingly to pursue the best trade-off between the power consumption and processing *** together with the hardware implementation schemes are selectively introduced with performance comparison and discussion.

Information collection system of GPS Close-range Photogrammetry is a measurement system that integrate high-precision satellite positioning technology,photogrammetry and digital compass angle measurement technique to collect the information of non-contact ***,in practice,the intersection angle of the image,the distance between feature points and collection point of the image and the geometric relation of collection points and feature points,these will directly affect the calculation accuracy of feature *** on different measured data,This paper respectively analyzed the four factors that affecting the calculation accuracy of feature points,and then obtained a batter operation mode of the system and a data processing method as well.
