As stated in the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),innovation remains at the heart of China’s modernization drive,and it is vital to optimize the allocation of innovation resources,deepen structural scientific and technological reforms,and enhance the overall performance of China’s innovation *** incentives have boosted firm R&D and innovation efforts;however,they have also triggered an innovation dilemma where enterprises,capitalizing on their informational advantages,resort to innovation-washing behaviors that undermine the intended purpose of the *** on the information asymmetry theory,this paper conducts an empirical study on how the digital economy affects firms’innovation-washing *** development of the regional digital economy could suppress firm innovation-washing behavior in the region,and such a mitigation effect is primarily caused by an increase in the number of digital industry *** to our heterogeneity analysis,the digital economy has a greater impact on firm innovation-washing behavior for certain types of enterprises,including non-state-owned enterprises(non-SOEs),small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs),enterprises in less competitive industries,and enterprises in unfavorable business *** mechanism analysis revealed that the digital economy may restrain innovation-washing behavior by reducing information asymmetry between enterprises and external *** terms of economic outcomes,the digital economy has the potential to directly influence firm innovation output while also indirectly mitigating the subsequent decline in innovation output by discouraging *** paper enriches the research findings on how the digital economy breaks down“information silos”and offers a potential solution to the“emphasis on input and quantity over quality and efficiency”phenomenon in science and technology innovation practices.

An Empirical Study on How the Development of digital economy Affects the Value Realization of Ecological Products

Empowering the value realization of ecological products with a digital economy is an important path for achieving the transformation of“two mountains”and the construction of ecological *** on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,a fixed-effects model was used to empirically test the impact,heterogeneity and mechanism of the effects of the digital economy on the value realization of ecological *** analysis revealed three key findings.(1)The digital economy has a significant driving effect on improving the ability to realize the value of ecological products,and this effect is still applicable in a variety of robustness tests such as shrinking the years,replacing explanatory variables,and endogeneity tests.(2)The rise of the digital economy affects the value realization of ecological products to different degrees in different regions,especially in the eastern region,while the effect in the central region is not obvious.(3)The analysis of mechanistic variables indicated that the digital economy has an impact on the value realization of ecological products through the development of green finance and government ***,the government should design differentiated and multi-level support policies for the realization of ecological product value according to the heterogeneity of natural resources,ecological potential and the levels of digital economy development in different regions,and it should strengthen the control of non-environmental protection behaviors of the *** should accelerate the digital transformation of the entire production,distribution,circulation and consumption chain of ecological products,and actively develop financial products and services that meet the characteristics and needs of ecological products.

Considering that previous literature has mainly focused on the impact of the digital economy(DE)on environmental degradation,ignoring the role of natural resources,this study uses two key factors(natural resource rent and anticorruption regulation)as threshold variables to reveal the effect of natural resources on the association between DE and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))*** doing so,the study covers 97 countries,uses annual data between 2003 and 2019,and applies a panel threshold *** outcomes present that the influence of the DE on CO_(2)emissions has a single-threshold effect(i.e.,there is an inverted U-shaped link between the DE and CO_(2)emissions)when natural resource rent is the threshold ***,the DE significantly increases CO_(2)emissions when the natural resource rent is at a low-to-medium level,but the DE suppresses CO_(2)emissions growth when natural resource rent exceeds the ***,the DE drives overall CO_(2)emissions growth when anticorruption regulation is the threshold variable and there are double thresholds for its impact on CO_(2)***,a rise in anticorruption regulation initially exacerbates the contribution of DE impact on CO_(2)emissions and then weakens it over *** on the results,the study proposes various implications,such as formulating a DE development strategy,considering natural resources in the development of the DE,and strengthening anti-corruption efforts in the field of environmental protection.

The paper discusses the effects of the digital economy on highquality urban development and its ***,the digital economy can empower high-quality development by boosting entrepreneurial ***,the paper measures the overall level of the digital economy and high-quality development of the 222 Chinese cities at and above the prefecture level during 2011-2016,depicts the entrepreneurial vitality of the cities with the microscopic data of the business registration information and makes quantitative analysis on this *** result shows:digital economy has remarkably improved high-quality development and this conclusion still exists after the robustness test selecting historical data as the instrumental variables and the Broadband China pilot policy as the quasi *** analysis of the mechanism of action indicates that encouraging public entrepreneurship is an important mechanism of the digital economy to release the dividend of highquality ***,thanks to the threshold model and the spatial model,it is found that the positive effect of the digital economy has the characteristics of nonlinear increment and spatial spillover of the“marginal effects.”The research of the paper stimulates the reasons for high-quality development and the understanding of the effects,mechanisms and regional differences of high-quality development empowered by the digital economy.

From the perspective of international trade efficiency and trade uncertainty,this paper analyzes the impact of digital economy development(DED)in importing countries on China’s ***,importing countries’DED can reduce the trade cost of China’s exports,and then improve the export efficiency of *** the other hand,the intensified market competition in importing countries resulting from DED and the changes in data transmission policies may also increase the uncertainty of China’s export *** paper uses the networked readiness index(NRI)to measure the DED level of different countries,and the heterogeneous stochastic frontier gravity(HSFG)model to empirically analyze the data of China’s exports to 115 countries and regions in the period of 2007−*** results show that the DED in importing countries can significantly reduce the loss of China’s export efficiency and improve the efficiency of China’s export trade,and this effect is more obvious for China’s exports to low-and middle-income ***,importing countries’DED may also increase the uncertainty of China’s export *** development of global digital economy brings new opportunities to international trade and new challenges to China’s *** paper provides a basis for China to strengthen its own DED,deepen international exchanges and cooperation,guide enterprises’transformation and upgrading,and improve their competitiveness and anti-risk capability.

The impact of the digital economy on the servitization of industrial structures: the moderating effect of human capital
