The implementation method of the IEEE 802.11 Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol is mainly based on DSP (Digital Signal Processor)/ ARM (Advanced Reduced instruction set computer Machine) processor or DSP/ARM IP (Intellectual Property) core. This paper presents a method based on Nios II soft-core processor embedded in Altera’s Cyclone FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and MicroC/OS-II RTOS (Real-Time Operation System). The benefits and drawbacks of above methods are compared, and then the method presented in this paper is described. The hardware and software partitioning are discussed; the hardware architecture is also illustrated and the MAC software programming is described in detail. The presented method has some advantages, such as low cost, easy-implementation and very suitable for the implementation of IEEE 802.11 MAC in research stage.

The transmission strategy of the streaming media is very important in streaming media transmission system,unreasonable transmission method of streaming media will greatly waste the network *** order to rationally use the network resources,and make the transmission of streaming media more fluent,this paper proposes a design scheme of the streaming media transmission system,and describes the design of the general structure,the buffer and the scheduling algorithm,last,describes the RTP transmission of the streaming media and the implementation of the buffer in *** new designed streaming media transmission system can improve the transmission efficiency,and reduce the waste of the network resources.

Automated guided vehicle（AGV） is playing an major role in industrial applications to move materials around a manufacturing facility or *** task complexity increases,however,the traditional design of AGV can’t meet user’s demands any ***,a new AGV control system is introduced in this paper,which is designed by the two-layer controller system *** structure includes the lower computer and the upper computer,which is the main controller with autonomous navigation *** exchange control messages,there is also a special communication protocol between the two *** addition,different algorithms and circuits are designed according to the differences of each task and the characters of two *** implementation approaches are presented in both hardware and algorithms as ***,a series of experiments has been done,and the results show that the AGV from this new two-layer controller system design has perfect performance in motion,localization,path planning and other aspects.

In order to improve training efficiency and cut down abrasion of equipment, the overall solution design of the maintenance training simulator for a certain-type of equipment is implemented based on functional analysis. The specific design and realization from both hardware and software is done to ensure the accordance of the internal and external structure, the mode of faults and the methods for removing the faults between the real equipment and the simulator. The training simulator provides training and evaluation platform for equipment operation and maintenance.

As a chronic disease that seriously endangers public health, the number of coronary heart disease （CHD） patients in China has increased in recent years. There is great potentiality to integrate traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapies to prevent and treat CHD in clinical practice. However, most of the current integrated therapies still lack sufficient high-quality evidence, and the key links in how to apply are unclear. It is urgent to optimize them through evidence-based research to further improve the effectiveness. Therefore, we propose strategies to conduct evidence-based optimization of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapies in prevention and treatment of progressive cardiovascular diseases. These are integrated clinical trial design, attention to the key links of taking effect, combination of clinical and basic research. Based on the strategies, we started the national key research and development project ＂Evidence-based optimization research of TCM therapies in prevention and treatment of CHD （angina pectoris - myocardial infarction - heart failure）＂, which is expected to be a new paradigm in the field.

This paper describes and provides a critique of the design and implementation of the“scoops”-a set of bespoke multifunctioning architectural free-form elements that are a highlight of the new Soheil Abedian School of Architecture at Bond University,Australia,by the office of Sir Peter Cook and Gavin Robotham,CRAB(Cook Robotham Architecture Bureau,London).The development includes the transfer of analogue design processes into digital 3d modeling,which is then analyzed and rationalized via an exchange with consultants and procurement *** complexity of the concrete works necessitated the use of digital fabrication to make their implementation affordable and within time constraints,with said complexity creating a variety of challenges for many aspects of the entire delivery *** 3d model played a critical role in communicating intent and accuracy at all *** use of site-based craftsmanship combined with computer aided design and fabrication overlapped to realize the project.

With integration of a larger amount of clean power sources and power electronic equipment,operation and dynamic characteristics of the power grid are becoming more and more complicated and ***,it is necessary and urgent to obtain accurate real-time states,which is difficult from traditional state *** paper systematically develops a phasor measurement unit(PMU)based real-time state estimator for a realistic large-scale power grid for the first *** estimator mainly relies on three refined algorithms,i.e.,an improved linear state estimation algorithm,a practical bad data identification method and a distributed topology check ***,a novel system architecture is designed and implemented for the China Southern Power *** simulations and extensive field operation results of the state estimator recorded under both normal and abnormal situations are *** the tests and field results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed algorithms in terms of online system monitoring and feasibility of refreshing the states of the whole system at intervals of tens of milliseconds.
