The increasing scale and complexity of 3D scene design work urge an efficient way to understand the design in multi-disciplinary team and exploit the experiences and underlying knowledge in previous works for *** the previous researches lack of concerning on relationship maintaining and design reuse in knowledge *** propose a novel semantic driven design reuse system,including a property computation algorithm that enables our system to compute the properties while modeling process to maintain the semantic consistency,and a vertex statics based algorithm that enables the system to recognize scene design pattern as universal semantic model for the same type of *** the universal semantic model,the system conducts the modeling process of future design works by suggestions and constraints on *** proposed framework empowers the reuse of 3D scene design on both model level and knowledge level.

Pattern design on 3D triangular garment surfaces

In order to overcome the heterogeneity of models and support concurrent work,a flexible,multidimensional and integrated model,which stores design information of different engineering domains,is proposed in the *** integrated model （DMP） describes design information from three dimensions including the definition of product/component （D）,the process of the development （P） and the methodology that the designer adopted （M） in the development of *** a workflow which is executed based on DMP model and driven by task and input/output template is proposed for raising work efficiency,reducing producing cost,improving operation level and enhancing enterprise’s competitive *** last,the framework of design reuse system based on DPM is put forward.

This paper focuses on a pattern design method for a 3D triangular garment surface. Firstly, some definitions of 3D style lines are proposed for designing the boundaries of patterns as drawing straight lines or splines on the triangular surface. Additionally some commonly used style lines are automatically generated to enhance design efficiency. Secondly, after style lines are preprocessed, a searching method is presented for quickly obtaining the boundaries and patches of a pattern on the 3D trian- gular surface. Finally a new pattern design reuse method is introduced by encoding/decoding the style line information. After style lines are encoded, the pattern design information can be saved in a pattern template and when decoding this template on a new garment surface, it automates the pattern generation for made-to-measure apparel products.

Model classification is essential to the management and reuse of 3D CAD *** model classification is laborious and error *** the same time,the automatic classification methods are scarce due to the intrinsic complexity of 3D CAD *** this paper,we propose an automatic 3D CAD model classification approach based on deep neural *** to prior knowledge of the CAD domain,features are selected and extracted from 3D CAD models first,and then preprocessed as high dimensional input vectors for category *** analogy with the thinking process of engineers,a deep neural network classifier for 3D CAD models is constructed with the aid of deep learning *** obtain an optimal solution,multiple strategies are appropriately chosen and applied in the training phase,which makes our classifier achieve better *** demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of our approach through experiments on 3D CAD model datasets.
