Background:High-quality real war trauma data are important,but they are still lacking.Using the database to realize the networked,systematic,standardized,and dynamic management of war injury animal experimental data can provide a real and reliable supplement for the research of war injury treatment.Methods:Through demand analysis,module design,architecture design,compilation and debugging,and other processes,JAVA language development tools were used to develop a time-effect assessment database for experiments on war-traumatized animals,where the browser/server architecture(B/S architecture)is used as the technical architecture and SQL Server as the database management system.Results:A time-effect assessment database for experiments on war-traumatized animals that features reasonable structural design,rich data resources,and convenient use has been established,in which case efficient collection,storage,display,retrieval,and management of animal experimental data have been achieved.At present,the database is running well and has good data quality.

Because the traditional campus GIS（CGIS） lacks close contact and unified management between the spatial data and attribute data, it can not meet the needs of information construction and management for campus. The author proposes the system construction goals of the "digital campus", which bases on information and figures technology, after analyzing CGIS model, functions and features.VB6.0 is the developing tool and Map X the components of Map Info is the developing platform. The campus information’s stratification method of spatial database, the table structure of attribute database and functions of system are designed by the author. And the functions of data input, output and update;display and maintenance maps;query the shortest path are all studied. They are all the useful exploration for establishing the CGIS.

Data modelling is about abstracting a portion of the real world,as a basis for the design of databases and application.The existing data modelling approaches show important similarities but also emphasis different components thereby using identical or similar terms for some distinct components on the one hand or different terms for similar components on the other hand.In this paper,a number of key-terms,like data model,entity and object will be defined and an overview will be given on the spatial and non spatial modelling actions.Both results will be compared with the terminology used in the Flemish GRB-project and adjusted definitions for the GRB-project will be proposed.At last the difficulties in 2D and 3D spatial modelling due to the absence of standardized spatial data structures,will be highlighted.
