The growing number of COVID-19 cases puts pressure on healthcare services and public institutions *** pandemic has brought much uncertainty to the global economy and the situation in *** methods and modeling techniques are important tools for governments to manage critical situations caused by pandemics,which have negative impact on public *** main purpose of this study is to obtain short-term forecasts of disease epidemiology that could be useful for policymakers and public institutions to make necessary short-term *** evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed attention-based method combining certain data mining algorithms and the classical ARIMA model for short-term forecasts,data on the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Lithuania is used,the forecasts of epidemic dynamics were examined,and the results were presented in the ***,the approach presented might be applied to any country and other pandemic *** COVID-19 outbreak started at different times in different countries,hence some countries have a longer history of the disease with more historical data than *** paper proposes a novel approach to data registration and machine learning-based analysis using data from attention-based countries for forecast validation to predict trends of the spread of COVID-19 and assess risks.

The internal structure of the inertial measurement unit(IMU)in active state is easily damaged in the high overload *** that the IMU is usually required to be powered within the disappearance of the high *** this paper,a mechanical switch is designed to enable the IMU based on the analysis of the impact of high overload on the power-supply *** which,parameters of mechanical switch are determined through theoretical calculation and data *** innovation of the proposed structure lies in that the mechanical switch is triggered through the high overload process and could provide a delay signal for the *** all,the proposed switch is tested through mechanical simulation,impact test and practical *** experimental results show that the designed mechanical switch can effectively and reliably provide the delay for the circuit and guarantee operation of the IMU under high overload.

With the gradual maturity of sequencing technology,many microbiome studies have published,driving the emergence and advance of related analysis tools.R language is the widely used platform for microbiome data analysis for powerful ***,tens of thousands of R packages and numerous similar analysis tools have brought major challenges for many researchers to explore microbiome *** to choose suitable,efficient,convenient,and easy-to-learn tools from the numerous R packages has become a problem for many microbiome *** have organized 324 common R packages for microbiome analysis and classified them according to application categories(diversity,difference,biomarker,correlation and network,functional prediction,and others),which could help researchers quickly find relevant R packages for microbiome ***,we systematically sorted the integrated R packages(phyloseq,microbiome,MicrobiomeAnalystR,Animalcules,microeco,and amplicon)for microbiome analysis,and summarized the advantages and limitations,which will help researchers choose the appropriate ***,we thoroughly reviewed the R packages for microbiome analysis,summarized most of the common analysis content in the microbiome,and formed the most suitable pipeline for microbiome *** paper is accompanied by hundreds of examples with 10,000 lines codes in GitHub,which can help beginners to learn,also help analysts compare and test different *** paper systematically sorts the application of R in microbiome,providing an important theoretical basis and practical reference for the development of better microbiome tools in the *** the code is available at GitHub ***/taowenmicro/EasyMicrobiomeR.

The Back-n white neutron source(known as Back-n)is based on back-streaming neutrons from the spallation target at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS).With its excellent beam properties,e.g.,a neutron flux of approximately 1.8×107 n/cm2/s at 55 m from the spallation target,energy range spanning from 0.5 eV to 200 MeV,and time-of-flight resolution of a few per thousand,along with the equipped physical spectrometers,Back-n is considered to be among the best facilities in the world for carrying out nuclear data *** its completion and commencement of operation in May 2018,five types of cross-section measurements concerning neutron capture cross-sections,fission cross-sections,total cross-sections,light charged particle emissions,in-beam gamma spectra,and more than forty nuclides have been *** article presents an overview of the experimental setup and result analysis on the neutron-induced cross-section measurements and gamma spectroscopy at Back-n in the initial years.

In astronomy,the brightness of a source is typically expressed in terms of ***,the magnitude is defined by the logarithm of received *** relationship is known as the Pogson *** received flux with a small signal to noise ratio（S/N）,however,the formula gives a large magnitude *** investigate whether the use of Inverse Hyperbolic Sine function（hereafter referred to as the Asinh magnitude）in the modified formulae could allow for an alternative calculation of magnitudes for small S/N flux,and whether the new approach is better for representing the brightness of that *** study the possibility of increasing the detection level of gravitational microlensing using 40 selected microlensing light curves from the 2013 and 2014 seasons and by using the Asinh *** data of the selected events are obtained from the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment（OGLE）.We found that utilization of the Asinh magnitude makes the events brighter compared to using the logarithmic magnitude,with an average of about 3.42×10^（-2）magnitude and an average in the difference of error between the logarithmic and the Asinh magnitude of about 2.21×10（-2）*** microlensing events OB140847 and OB140885 are found to have the largest difference values among the selected *** a Gaussian fit to find the peak for OB140847 and OB140885,we conclude statistically that the Asinh magnitude gives better mean squared values of the regression and narrower residual histograms than the Pogson *** on these results,we also attempt to propose a limit in magnitude value for which use of the Asinh magnitude is optimal with small S/N data.

Control System Design and Implementation at Flexible, Distributed Offshore Sensor Test Sites in the Yangtze Estuary Area

Marine in situ testing is a necessary step for stereotyping newly developed marine sensors. The use of test sites in the Yangtze Estuary area, which has high turbidity and abundant nutrients, can effectively reduce the needed testing time owing to its harsh conditions. Five test stations were established, and a floating buoy and fixed test equipment were designed. A control system, including a sensor connection, data processor, video remote transmission, and corresponding control algorithm, was developed. The control system enabled the nondestructive monitoring of biological attachments and bidirectional, real-time communication between an upper server on land and the control system at the test sites. The dissolved oxygen(DO), temperature, and pH data of DOS600 and DPS600 sensors were compared with those of AP2000 sensors. Temperature recording using the DOS600 sensor was performed nearly as well as that of the AP2000 sensor. The mean DO values(standard deviations) were 8.414 mg L-1(2.068) and 6.896 mg L-1(1.235) for the DOS600 and AP2000 sensors, respectively, indicating that the DOS600 performance was unsatisfactory. The pH recording of the DPS600 was slightly worse than that of the AP2000 sensor. Experimental results showed that the DO value was more easily affected by the buoy movement of waves compared to the pH and temperature. Moreover, data fluctuations showed that the DO and pH parameters were more vulnerable to biofouling than temperature. Waves and biofouling create a harsh test environment, and the performance difference between the developed sensors and a standard sensor can be obtained in a short time period.

The abundant photometric data collected from multiple large-scale sky surveys give important opportunities for photometric redshift ***,low accuracy is still a serious issue in the current photometric redshift estimation *** this paper,we propose a novel two-stage approach by integration of Self Organizing Map(SOM)and Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)methods *** SOM-CNN method is tested on the dataset of 150000 galaxies from Sloan Digital Sky Survey data Release 13(SDSS-DR13).Inthe first stage,we apply the SOM algorithm to photometric data clustering and divide the samples into early-type and *** the second stage,the SOM-CNN model is established to estimate the photometric redshifts of ***,the precision rate and recall rate curves(PRC)are given to evaluate the models of SOM-CNN and Back Propagation(BP).It can been seen from the PRC that the SOM-CNN model is better than BP,and the area of SOM-CNN is 0.94,while the BP is ***,we provide two key error indicators:mean square error(MSE)and *** results show that the MSE of early-type is 0.0014 while late-type is 0.0019,which are better than the BP algorithm 22.2%and 26%,*** compared with Outliers,our result is optimally 1.32%,while the K-nearest neighbor(KNN)algorithm has 3.93%.In addition,we also provide the error visualization figures aboutΔZ andδ.According to the statistical calculations,the early-type with an error of less than 0.1 accounts for 98.86%,while the late-type is 99.03%.This result is better than those reported in the literature.

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy （LIBS） has attracted much attention in terms of both scientific research and industrial application. An important branch of LIBS research in Asia, the development of data processing methods for LIBS, is reviewed. First, the basic principle of LIBS and the characteristics of spectral data are briefly introduced. Next, two aspects of research on and problems with data processing methods are described： i） the basic principles of data preprocessing methods are elaborated in detail on the basis of the characteristics of spectral data; ii） the performance of data analysis methods in qualitative and quantitative analysis of LIBS is described. Finally, a direction for future development of data processing methods for LIBS is also proposed.

With telescope apertures becoming larger and larger,the deployment of large-field telescopes is becoming increasingly ***,optical path calibration is necessary to ensure the image quality of large-field and large-diameter *** particular,focal plane attitude calibration is an essential optical path calibration technique that has a direct impact on image *** this paper,a focal plane attitude detection method using eight acquisition cameras is proposed based on the calibration requirements of the wide-field telescope,LAMOST(Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope).Comparison of simulation and experimental results shows that the detection accuracy of the proposed method can reach 30 *** additional testing and verification,this method could be used to facilitate regular focal plane attitude calibration for LAMOST as well as other large-field telescopes.
