To observe the effect of acupuncture on acute bacillary dysentery,wetreated 326 cases of the disease respectively with acupuncture and *** resultindicated that acupuncture could relieve obviously symptoms and signs of the patient and theshort term curative rate reached 79.01%,similar to furazolidone(P>0.05).Thoughacupuncture was not better than pharmacotherapy in killing bacillus dysenteriae,it could ef-fectively cured acute bacillary dysentery without side—effect and drug allergy.

Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of the mask continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) mechanical ventilation in children with severe pneumonia. Methods: A total of 100 cases of children with severe pneumonia were randomly divided into two groups, study group with 50 children and control group with 50 children. These 100 children were given comprehensive treatment measures: treatment of anti-infection, anti-respiratory failure, anti-heart failure (if necessary), relieving cough and reducing sputum, aerosol inhalation, limited fluid volume, nutrition support etc. Children in the study group were added mask continuous positive airway pressure mechanical ventilation (CPAP). Children in the control group were added ordinary mask oxygen inhalation. Investigated and checked the treatment effect in these two groups. Results: After treatment, SaO2, PaO2 in both two groups were showed significantly higher than before the treatment. PaO2 of the study group is obviously higher than the control group. The oxygen inhalation time of the study group was obviously lesser than the control group. The total effective rate of the study group was significantly higher than the control group which was 96.0% vs 66.0%. Conclusion: The mask continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) mechanical ventilation can significantly improve the related symptoms and blood gas status of the children with severe pneumonia, shorten the oxygen inhalation time and had remarkable effect.

Evaluation of the safety and efficacy of a Pipeline Flex embolization device for treatment of large, wide-necked intracranial aneurysms

Objective: To investigate the safety and effectiveness of the Pipeline Flex embolization device(PFED) in the treatment of large and wide-necked aneurysms in the internal carotid artery(ICA). Methods: The clinical data of 78 cases of large and wide-necked aneurysms in the ICA treated with this Pipeline Flex embolization device in Shanghai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University and Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University from February 2017 to June 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: A total of 66 cases were treated with a Pipeline Flex embolization device, 10 with a pipeline flex embolization device, and 2 with a double tubride stent(10 patients were treated with a pipeline stent-assisted coil embolization in; and 2 patients were treated with two pipeline stents). The patients were followed up for 3 to 18 months(average, 9.25 months). Among them, 63 cases had complete occlusion of the neck of the aneurysm(Raymondl Class I; MRS score 0; 80.8%). Aneurysms recurred in 12 cases(Raymondl Class Ⅱ; MRS score 1; 15.4%). Delayed ischemic complications were observed in 1 case(MRS score >2; 0.13%). There was 1 case of poor release of stent and 1 case of stent stenosis(0.13%). Conclusion: The treatment of large, wide-necked aneurysms in the ICA with PFED has a high total occlusion rate and good prognosis was better than coil embolization, but the placement of PFED still has some neurological complications.

1307 Cases with painful disease were reported. 568 cases were cured, 43.4% ofthe total: 476, remarkably effective, 36.4%; 194, effective, 14.9%; 69, no effect, 5.3%. The to-tal effective rate was 94.7%. The rate for the cured and remarkably effective was 79.8 %. The acutepain with short diseases course can be treated with instant effect. Clinical practice has proved that di-agnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of symptoms and signs, the right option of acu-points and correct use of stimulations are the key link of how to increase the curative effect.
