SUMMARY Postpartum psychosis is a condition characterised by rapid onset of psychotic symptoms several weeks after childbirth. Outside of its timing and descriptions of psychotic features, minimal research exists due to its relative rarity (1 to 2 per 1000 births in the USA), with greater emphasis on postpartum sadness and depression. With the existi叩 literature, Cultural differences and language barriers previously have not been taken into consideration as there are no documented cases of postpartum psychosis in a non-English-speaki叩 patient. Correctly differentiating postpartum psychosis from other postpartum psychiatric disorders requires adeptly evaluating for the presence of psychotic symptoms with in-depth history taking.

Economic and Cultural globalization has strong impacts on the culture of each country.How to maintain the integrity of the local culture in the course of globalization and how to develop on the basis of the inheritance and innovation are the questions worthy of being studied.This paper firstly expounds the important meaning of Cultural subjectivity in the view of Cultural self-confidence,then explores the roots for the loss of Cultural subjectivity consciousness and finally indicates the strategies of cultivating Cultural subjectivity.Cultivating Cultural subjectivity is an effective way to maintain the integrity of the local culture and the Cultural self-confidence.

On the Construction and Representation of Chinese Cultural Identity: From an InterCultural Perspective

Cultural identity is the identity or feeling of belonging to a group.Individual,relational and communal identity are the three components of the Cultural identity.Chinese Cultural identity is an example of communal identity.A positive national Cultural identity enhances national prestige,increases global understanding,reveals a unique value proposition and develops a competitive advantage in the world.However,in the wave of globalization and contemporary Chinese social transformation,Chinese Cultural identity encounters some challenges.Cultural identity becomes fuzzy.The present paper attempts to make some suggestions to the construction and representation of Chinese Cultural identity from an interCultural perspective.To construct Chinese Cultural identity,we should try to accommodate Chinese Cultural inheritance with contemporary culture and modern society,enhance full development of Cultural products,rebuild people’s self-esteem on Cultural identity,and improve the government’s identity-constructing ability.As for the representation of Chinese Cultural identity,promoting the Chinese language,making use of mass media,performing national Cultural identity in sports,encouraging heritage tourism and drawing upon other countries’ experience would be essential.

Within the structure of globalisation,the field of world culture faces challenges that are manifested in the decline of national culture and the crisis of homogeneity of world culture.In this case,world culture should be promoted as a viable path to prosperity and development if it is done on the basis of adhering to the higher consciousness of national culture,developing interCultural dialogue,with the intention forming a situation of mutual learning and promoting the fusion of horizons.The Chinese Culture,Qilu genetic code and native writing embody Mo Yan’s conscious adherence to national culture,his thorough knowledge of “Seeking Roots” and “Vanguard”,the fusion of national and international characteristics and the integration of his hometown and other countries.These show his enthusiasm and courage in launching interCultural dialogue and reaching towards the fusion of horizons.How to face Cultural challenges under this changing world pattern?The successful experience of Mo Yan’s novels provides us with vivid examples.

This essay aims to examine one key dimension of Yang Mu's literary writings, namely, his "poetics of history." From 1968 to 2011, Yang Mu created approximately twenty-two poems on history at different stages of his Iife. This paper holds that, by invoking historical memory, Yang Mu not only offers his critical response to the polemics on modern Chinese poetry in 1970s Taiwan but also brilliantly conceives of two specific approaches and modes, namely,"observing and presenting history" and "reenacting and re-interpreting history." This paper argues that the second approach and mode, e.g., Yang Mu speaking through fictionalized and dramatized historical figures, should be viewed as Yang's insight, as it powerfully displays the originality and depth of the poet's vision. In addition, as the focus of Yang Mu's historical imagination shifts from Chinese mainland to Taiwan over the decades, his Cultural identity undergoes a major transforma廿on;in a sense, this shift results from the rise of Taiwan's nativization movement in the age of globalization.

Culture,as a kind of social and historical phenomenon,is a way of being,and there are complementary characteristics between different cultures.Cultural identification in the context of"the Belt and Road Initiative"(BRI hereafter)manifests itself in the heterogeneous space during the process of constructing Cultural subjectivity.Cultural identification,in such a situation,not only embodies the national character of a culture,but also contains the global hybrid.To be specific,Cultural identification in cross-Cultural transmission,which means overseas acceptance of Chinese culture in this sense,includes self-identity and other-identification.Through Cultural dialogue,it finally points to the common shaping of culture beyond boundaries.

The 5,000-year-history of Chinese culture has produced very rich Cultural traditions.However,with the deepening of reform and opening up,some foreign cultures and theories have had a significant impact on the Chinese traditional culture,which has severely restricted its further development.Moreover,there are still many deficiencies in the process of China’s Cultural transmission,which leads to the stagnant efficiency and level of Cultural communication in the interCultural communication environment.From the perspective of interCultural communication,based on the analysis of the problems existing in China’s Cultural transmission,this paper puts forward some suggestions and strategies to promote China’s Cultural transmission,and facilitate the development of Chinese culture in the context of the interweaving of world culture.

Objectives:To examine the perceived impact of international educational experiences and Cultural beliefs before and after completing a 1-year Masters of Science in Nursing program.Methods:An exploratory study was conducted among Chinese nurses studying abroad in a private medium-sized university in the United States.The 27-item electronic pre-survey was administered within 1 week of starting the program and the post-survey was administered 1 year later at the completion of the program.Results:Majority of participants(n=25)were female,23–36 years of age.Findings revealed that the perceived impact of international educational experiences assessed at the start of the program was similar to the perceived impact measured at the end of the 1-year program,suggesting that the students learned and experienced what they anticipated.There was a significant impact on Cultural beliefs from the start of the program compared with the end of the program suggesting that a 1-year study abroad program does influence Cultural beliefs.Conclusions:Understanding what is important to provide in a study abroad program and providing the educational experiences identified by students as impactful are avenues to help host universities best develop their programs.Findings suggested that the 1-year program can influence foreign students’Cultural beliefs,yet the professional and personal impact of this change warrants further study.

With the development of China's economy,the improvement of international influence,the adoption of"Belt and Road"strategy and the continuous development of foreign exchanges,the demand for interCultural communication is increasing with the growth of international interaction. Chinese people are the main force of international communication in the future and we will shoulder the important duty of spreading Chinese culture. So it is very important to cultivate people's competence of interCultural communication. The competence refers to not only the language itself but also the bilateral cultures. The paper firstly implies the significance of interCultural awareness under the background of"Belt and Road"strategy. The second part is related to the literature reviewof interCultural communication. And it goes to the achievements of "Belt and Road"and the strategies of cultivating interCultural consciousness. According to the research,one point should be clear,that is,the cultivation of Cultural consciousness is very important in interCultural communication in the progress of"Belt and Road".

As one of the key concepts of Xi Jinping’s Theory,“A Community with Shared Future for Man-kind”(CSFM hereafter) caters for the need of the epoch. Hence,how to build a CSFM has become an important theoretical and practical issue urgently needed to be considered and demonstrated in academic circles. This paper,from the perspectives of philosophical rationale,Cultural confidence,ecological civilization and the mode of Cultural transmis-sion,probes into the fact that the concept of CSFM has surmounted the Cultural barrier and is one of the elements of consensus in cross - Cultural transmission,which demonstrates that CSFM is the key to making Cultural transmission successful and highlights the overall concern for humankind.
