Previous studies have suggested that glutathione-S-transferase π （GST-π） over-expression in the brain tissue is associated with refractory epilepsy. However, whether the change in GST-π level in the peripheral blood is in line with that in brain tissue remains unknown. This study examined the correlation between GST-π in brain tissue and that in peripheral blood in rat models of pilocarpine-induced refractory epilepsy. The animals were divided into drug-resistant group and drug-responsive group according to the response to anti-epileptic drugs. GST-π expression in brain tissue was immunohistochemically determined, while the expression of GST-π in peripheral blood was analyzed by Western blotting. In the hippocampus and cortex, GST-π was mainly found in the cytoplasm and membrane of neurons, and the GST-π expression level was higher in drug-resistant group than in the drug-responsive group and saline control group （P〈0.05）. Moreover, there was no significant difference between responders and saline control animals （P〉0.05）. The change in expression of GST-π in peripheral blood showed the same pattern as that in brain tissues, suggesting GST-π might contribute to drug resistance in epilepsy. Importantly, the GST-π over-expression in peripheral blood could be used as a marker for resistance to anti-epileptic agents.

To explore the effects of bandage technology and pressure therapy in breast cancer with *** A total of 91 patients,with breast cancer-related lymphedema and hospitalized in a third-class hospital in Jiangsu Province from May to December,2018,were selected and sequenced in class“ABC”in the order of *** patients in class“A”were enrolled in“8”shaped bandaging *** patients in class“B”were enrolled in“5”spiral bandaging *** patients in class“C”were enrolled in combined bandage *** primary outcome was the degree of limb swelling used by multiple-frequency bioelectrical impedance *** outcomes were the amount of bandage losses,counting 24-hour bandage loose occurrences and patients *** outcomes were evaluated both before and after *** After treatment,there was a significant difference in the regression of limb swelling in all three groups(P<0.05).However,the largest amplitude of regression was observed in combined bandage group(limb circumference ratio:53%and tissue water ratio:68%).Although“8”bandaging group had large material,bandage cost and minimum comfort,the bandage has good stability and no case of 24-hour bandage loose occurrences was found in this ***“5”partial binding group had an advantage in the amount of bandage losses and comfort level,but among which 3 patients had the phenomenon of loose bandage at the *** combined bandage group had the best therapeutic effect in limb swelling and patients satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined bandage group significantly decreased the degree of limb swelling and 24-hour bandage loose ***,this treatment improved the degree of patients’*** treatment of“8”shaped bandaging combined with spiral bandaging is worthy of clinical promotion.

Secondary tropical forests sequester atmospheric CO 2 at relatively faster rates in vegetation and in soil than old-growth primary *** understanding of biomass and carbon stocks in different plant functional types of these forests is ***,diversity,composition,soil features and carbon stocks in six distinct plant functional types,namely:Moist Mixed-Deciduous Forest,Peninsular Sal Forest(PSF),Semi-Evergreen Forest(SEF),Planted Teak Forest,Bamboo Brakes(BB),and Degraded Thorny Shrubby Forest were quantified as secondary tropical deciduous forests of the Chandaka Wildlife Sanctuary,Eastern Ghats of Odisha,***-one species≥10 cm Girth at breast height(GBH)were recorded,belonging to 38 families and 65 ***-ground biomass carbon and soil organic carbon ranged from 2.1–72.7 Mg C ha^(−1) and 20.6–67.1 Mg C ha^(−1),respectively,among all plant functional *** organic carbon and important value index were positively correlated with above-ground biomass *** carbon allocation was in SOC pool(51–91%),followed by the above-ground biomass pool(9–52%),indicating SOC is one of the major carbon sinks in secondary dry *** results highlight the importance of secondary tropical deciduous forests in biodiversity conservation and ecological importance in reducing greenhouse gases.

[ Objective ] To study the influence of sows farrowing performance on the growth of 21-day-old weaned piglets and their correlation. [ Methods ] A total of 1 350 Duroc x Landrace Yorkshire piglets produced by 2-6 fetal Landrace x Yorkshire sows from 118 litters within a month were selected to be the test objects. All the newborn piglets were lactated by their parent sows. The test groups were divided according to different numbers （6 - 17） of live birth. The variance analysis were conducted on birth weight, litter weight at birth, number of 21-day-old weaning piglets, weaning weight, weaninl2g weight of litter, weaning survival rate and relative individual weight gain among different weeks. [ Results] Sows farrowing performance had significant influence on the growth performance of 21- day-old piglets. However, the influences among different traits varied, some were even on the contrary. With the increase of the number of live birth, the birth weight, weaning weight of litter and weaning survival rate showed a decline trend. And when the number of live birth was equal or more than 14, the weaning sur- vival rate dropped to below 90% （P 〈 0.01 ） ; when the number of live birth was 13, the litter weight at birth and weaning weight of litter reached the peak. What- ever the number of live birth increased or decreased, the weaning weight showed a regular decline trend. [ Conclusions] When the number of live birth changed from 11 to 13, the maximum values of the economic indicator （weaning weight of litter） and the technical specifications （weaning survival rate） were achieved.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the combination of serum Apelin and MMP-9 in the assessment of silicosis and their correlation with lung function. [Methods] From January 2020 to January 2021, eight patients with silicosis(including 3, 2 and 3 patients with silicosis in stages I, II and III respectively) were selected as the observation group, and eight persons frees of silicosis were selected as the control group during the same period. All patients were detected for serum APJ endogenous ligand(Apelin) of G protein-coupled receptor, matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and pulmonary function indexes. The levels of serum Apelin and MMP-9 and lung function in the two groups were compared, and the correlation between serum Apelin and MMP-9 indexes and lung function was analyzed. [Results] The serum Apelin and lung function in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of MMP-9 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(Pcorrelation analysis showed a positive correlation between serum Apelin and lung function indexes, and a negative correlation between MMP-9 and lung function indexes.
