Cortical interneurons can be categorized into distinct populations based on multiple modalities,including molecular signatures and morpho-electrical(M/E)properties.Recently,many transcriptomic signatures based on single-cell RNA-seq have been identified in cortical interneurons.However,whether different interneuron populations defined by transcriptomic signature expressions correspond to distinct M/E subtypes is still unknown.Here,we applied the Patch-PCR approach to simultaneously obtain the M/E properties and messenger RNA(mRNA)expression of>600 interneurons in layer V of the mouse somatosensory cortex(S1).Subsequently,we identified 11 M/E subtypes,9 neurochemical cell populations(NCs),and 20 transcriptomic cell populations(TCs)in this cortical lamina.Further analysis revealed that cells in many NCs and TCs comprised several M/E types and were difficult to clearly distinguish morpho-electrically.A similar analysis of layer V interneurons of mouse primary visual cortex(V1)and motor cortex(M1)gave results largely comparable to S1.Comparison between S1,V1,and M1 suggested that,compared to V1,S1 interneurons were morpho-electrically more similar to M1.Our study reveals the presence of substantial M/E variations in cortical interneuron populations defined by molecular expression.

BACKGROUND Shoulder is the most injured part in table tennis players,and it takes multiple roles in transmitting power and striking the center of the ball during the stroke.Proprioception is strongly correlated with high level of athletic performance.It is customary to assume that there is a correlation between proprioception and muscle strength and therefore proprioceptive assessment and rehabilitation is often neglected.AIM To investigate the correlation between isokinetic muscle strength and proprioception in the internal and external rotation muscle groups of elite Chinese male table tennis players,to provide reference for physical training and rehabilitation of elite table tennis players.METHODS A total of 19 national elite table tennis players from the Chinese National Table Tennis Team were recruited in this research.All of them had more than 10 years training experience and had participated major competitions such as the National Games and World Youth Championships.IsoMed 2000 was used to test the peak torque of internal and external rotation isokinetic concentric contraction of the athletes'bilateral shoulder joints at low speed(60°/s)and high speed(180°/s)respectively;IsoMed 2000 was used to conduct the Joint Position Reproduction test to evaluate the athletes'proprioceptive ability capacity at low speed(60°/s)and high speed(180°/s)respectively.If the data satisfied the normal distribution,the correlation between the differences in peak torque s and angles in different directions was analyzed using a Pearson simple linear model;otherwise,Spearman correlation analysis was used.The comparison of proprioceptive ability between the table tennis racket-holding hand and non-racket-holding hands was performed using independent samples t-test if the data satisfied a normal distribution;otherwise,the Mann-Whitney U test was used.RESULTS There was no direct linear correlation between the strength and proprioceptive correlation analysis at slow speed(60°/s)and fast speed(180°/s)in the racket-holding hand;At the sl

correlation analysis between fault frequency and service time of underground fluid instruments

In this paper, we make a statistical analysis of the fault information of the underground fluid instruments of 12 models in China from January 2021 to May 2022 based on the Pearson correlation coefficient, and compare the fault statistics of the meteorological three-element instruments of 3 models during the study period. The results show that:(1) The numbers of faults of the underground fluid instruments of 12models with different service times are basically positively correlated with the numbers of the corresponding instruments, with good consistency. Moreover, the automatic observation instruments(8models) with more than 30 units are significantly correlated at a 0.05 significance level(95% confidence level). Even at a 0.01 significance level(99% confidence level), there are 7 models(7/8) with significant correlation.(2) The positive and negative correlations between the monthly average number of faults and the corresponding service times of the underground fluid instruments of 12 models with different service times are random, and there are 9 models(75%) with no significant correlation at a 0.05 significance level(95% confidence level), while 12 models(100%) with no significant correlation at a 0.01significance level(99% confidence level).(3) The monthly average numbers of faults of the underground fluid instruments of 12 models are basically 0.02-0.05 times/(unit·month), and the overall fault frequency is low.(4) The fault statistics results of the meteorological three-element instruments of 3 models are consistent with the characteristics of the underground fluid instruments of 12 models. In general,there is no significant correlation between the fault frequency and the service time of underground fluid instruments.(5) The results of this paper demonstrate that the service time of underground fluid instruments cannot be taken as the main reason for whether to update the instruments. With the rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicle technology,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been widely used in the field of agricultural plant protection.Compared with fuel-driven UAVs,electrically driven rotorcrafts have many advantages such as lower cost,simpler operation,good maneuverability and cleaner power,which them popular in the plant protection.However,electrical rotorcrafts still face battery problems in actual operation,which limits its working time and application.Aiming at this issue,this paper studied the influence of rotorcraft flight parameters on energy consumption through series of carefully designed flight experiments.First of all,the linear motion experiments have been designed that the rotorcraft was made to perform speed tests and acceleration test with the speed varied from 2∼9 m/s.Secondly,the turning maneuver experiments are carried out under the different circular routes,a rotorcraft was made to conduct successive steering maneuvers at a certain speed of 2 m/s.With the collected tests data,the relation of the energy consumption and the flight dynamic parameter are analyzed through correlation analysis,and the test results of different pairs of experiments have been compared.The research results of this paper would encourage the agricultural rotorcraft to make less maneuvers during operation,which can also provide practical experience and data support for subsequent optimization of flight parameters and reduction of energy consumption.

correlation analysis of PCB and comparison of test-analysis model reduction methods

The validity of correlation analysis between finite element model（FEM） and modal test data is strongly affected by three factors, i.e., quality of excitation and measurement points in modal test,FEM reduction methods, and correlation check techniques. A new criterion based on modified mode participation（MMP） for choosing the best excitation point is presented. Comparison between this new criterion and mode participation（MP） criterion is made by using Case 1 with a simple printed circuit board（PCB）. The result indicates that this new criterion produces better results. In Case 2, 35 measurement points are selected to perform modal test and correlation analysis while 9 selected in Case 3.System equivalent reduction expansion process（SEREP）, modal assurance criteria（MAC）, coordinate modal assurance criteria（CoMAC）, pseudo orthogonality check（POC） and coordinate orthogonality check（CORTHOG） are used to show the error introduced by modal test in Cases 2 and 3. Case 2 shows that additional errors which cannot be identified by using CoMAC can be found by using CORTHOG.In both Cases 2 and 3, Guyan reduction, improved reduced system（IRS） method, SEREP and Hybrid reduction are compared for accuracy and robustness. The results suggest that the quality of the reduction process is problem dependent. However, the IRS method is an improvement over the Guyan reduction, and the Hybrid reduction is an improvement over the SEREP reduction.

Peanut cultivation in China spans various ecological zones, each with unique environmental conditions. Identifying suitable peanut varieties for these regions has been challenging due to significant phenotypic variations observed across environments. This study, based on a comprehensive analysis of 256 peanut varieties, selected nine representative varieties(Huayu23, Yuanza9102, Silihong, Wanhua2, Zhonghua6, Zhonghua16, Zhonghua21,Zhonghua215, Zhonghua24) for cultivation in five distinct ecological zones including Chengdu, Hefei, Nanjing,Shijiazhuang, and Wuhan. The yield and quality related phenotypic traits of these varieties were thoroughly assessed, revealing a complex interplay between genetic and environmental factors. Principal component analysis(PCA) effectively distinguished varieties based on yield and quality traits. Strong correlations were observed between specific traits, such as seed size and quality components. The G × E interaction was evident, as some varieties consistently performed better in certain environments. Varieties with lower coefficient of variation(CV)values exhibited stable trait expression, making them reliable choices for broad cultivation. In contrast, varieties with higher CV values displayed greater sensitivity to environmental fluctuations, potentially due to specific genetic factors. Two high oleic acid varieties, Zhonghua24 and Zhonghua215, demonstrated remarkable stability in oleic acid content across diverse environments, suggesting the presence of genetic mechanisms that buffer against environmental variations. Overall, this study underscores the importance of selecting peanut varieties based on their adaptability and performance in specific ecological zones. These findings provide valuable insights for peanut breeders and farmers, facilitating informed decisions for improved crop production and quality.

correlation analysis between vegetation coverage and climate drought conditions in North China during 2001–2013

Climate change is one of the most important factors that affect vegetation distribution in North China. Among all climatic factors, drought is considered to have the most significant effect on the environment. Based on previous studies, the climate drought index can be used to assess the evolutionary trend of the ecological environment under various arid climatic conditions. It is necessary for us to further explore the relationship between vegetation coverage（index） and climate drought conditions. Therefore, in this study, based on MODIS-NDVI products and meteorological observation data, the Palmer Drought Severity Index（PDSI） and vegetation coverage in North China were first calculated. Then, the interannual variations of PDSI and vegetation coverage during 2001–2013 were analyzed using a Theil-Sen slope estimator. Finally, an ecoregion perspective of the correlation between them was discussed. The experimental results demonstrated that the PDSI index and vegetation coverage value varied over different ecoregions. During the period 2001–2013, vegetation coverage increased in the southern and northern mountains of North China, while it showed a decreasing trend in the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan City Circle area and suburban agricultural zone located in Hebei Province and Henan Province）. Over 13 years, the climate of the northeastern part of North China became more humid, while in the southern part of North China, it tended to be dry. According to the correlation analysis results, 73.37% of North China showed a positive correlation between the vegetation coverage and climate drought index. A negative correlation was observed mainly in urban and suburban areas of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province, and Henan Province. In most parts of North China, drought conditions in summer and autumn had a strong influence on vegetation coverage.

Variation characteristics of acid rain in Zhuzhou,Central China over the period 2011-2020

Zhuzhou was one of the most polluted cities in China with the serious acid rain.Due to the implementation of air pollution control measures from 2016 to 2018,the acid rain pollution in this city has reduced.In order to understand the recent situation,a comprehensive study on the acid rain was carried out from January 2011 to December 2020.The pH values during the study period varied from 3.3 to 7.5,with a volume-weighted mean value of 4.7.The predominant acidic components of the precipitation were SO_(4)^(2-)and NO_(3)^(-),accounting for 89.3% of the total anions.The ratio of non-sea-salt SO_(4)^(2-)to NO_(3)^(-)showed a decreasing trend,revealing that the pollution type of acid rain changed from sulfuric acid type to sulfuric acid and nitric acid compound type.The correlation analysis(pcorrelation of Ca^(2+)with Mg^(2+)shows that they may originated mainly from crust.Significant positive correlation between SO_(4)^(2-)and F^(-)and Cl^(-)indicate that their source may be related to the non-ferrous metal smelting industry in Zhuzhou.Further correlation analysis shows that emissions from the non-ferrous metal smelting industry in the area have a large significant on SO_(4)^(2-)and F^(-)in precipitation,while Cl^(-)may still be emitted from other anthropogenic sources.

A combined evaluation of the characteristics and antibiotic resistance induction potential of antibiotic wastewater during the treatment process

Antibiotic wastewater contains a variety of pollutant stressors that can induce and promote antibiotic resistance(AR)when released into the environment.Although these substances are mostly in concentrations lower than those known to induce AR individually,it is possible that antibiotic wastewater discharge might still promote the AR transmission risk via additive or synergistic effects.However,the comprehensive effect of antibiotic wastewater on AR development has rarely been evaluated,and its treatment efficiency remains unknown.Here,samples were collected from different stages of a cephalosporin production wastewater treatment plant,and the potential AR induction effect of their chemical mixtures was explored through the exposure of the antibiotic-sensitive Escherichia coli K12 strain.Incubation with raw cephalosporin production wastewater significantly promoted mutation rates(3.6×10^(3)-9.3×10^(3)-fold)and minimum inhibition concentrations(6.0-6.7-fold)of E.coli against ampicillin and chloramphenicol.This may be attributed to the inhibition effect and oxidative stress of cephalosporin wastewater on E.coli.The AR induction effect of cephalosporin wastewater decreased after the coagulation sedimentation treatment and was completely removed after the full treatment process.A Pearson correlation analysis revealed that the reduction in the AR induction effect had a strong positive correlation with the removal of organics and biological toxicity.This indicates that the antibiotic wastewater treatment had a collaborative processing effect of conventional pollutants,toxicity,and the AR induction effect.This study illustrates the potential AR transmission risk of antibiotic wastewater and highlights the need for its adequate treatment.

Actinobacterial community is a conspicuous part of aquatic ecosystems and displays an important role in the case of biogeochemical cycle,but little is known about the seasonal variation of actinobacterial community in reservoir ecological environment.In this study,the high-throughput techniques were used to investigate the structure of the aquatic actinobacterial community and its inducing water quality parameters in different seasons.The results showed that the highest diversity and abundance of actinobacterial community occurred in winter,with Sporichthya(45.42%)being the most abundant genus and Rhodococcus sp.(29.32%)being the most abundant species.Network analysis and correlation analysis suggested that in autumn the dynamics of actinobacterial community were infuenced by more factors and Nocardioides sp.SX2R5S2 was the potential keystone species which was negatively correlated with temperature(R=-0.72,P<0.05).Changes in environmental factors could significantly affect the changes in actinobacterial community,and the dynamics of temperature,dissolved oxygen(DO),and turbidity are potential conspicuous factors infuencing seasonal actinobacterial community trends.The partial least squares path modeling further elucidated that the combined effects of DO and temperature not only in the diversity of actinobacterial community but also in other water qualities,while the physiochemical parameters(path coefficient=1.571,P<0.05)was strong environmental factors in natural mixture period.These results strengthen our understanding of the dynamics and structures of actinobacterial community in the drinking water reservoirs and provide scientific guidance for further water quality management and protection in water sources.
