A new circuit for realization of universal current-mode filter using current Follower Transconductance Amplifiers (CFTAs) is presented. The proposed circuit realizes current-mode low pass, high pass and band pass filter functions simultaneously with a single current source at the input. The band reject and all pass filters can also be obtained from the proposed circuit without any extra hardware. The proposed circuit employs three passive grounded elements and two CFTAs. Linear electronic control of natural frequency ω0 is available in the proposed circuit. The quality factor can be independently adjusted through grounded resistor. The proposed circuit employs two grounded capacitors and a grounded resistor along with two CFTAs. The grounded resistor can be replaced by an OTA based circuit for linear electronic control of quality factor Q0. The circuit exhibits low active and passive sensitivities for ω0 and Q0. Simulation results are obtained using PSPICE software which is in conformity with the theoretical findings.

In this paper, four new first order voltage mode cascadable allpass sections are proposed using single active element and three grounded passive components, ideal for IC implementation. The active element used is a fully differential current conveyor. All the proposed circuit possess high input and low output impedance feature which is a desirable feature for voltagemode circuits. Nonideality aspects and parasitic effects are also given. As an application, a multiphase oscillator is designed. The proposed circuits are verified through PSPICE simulation results using TSMC 0.35 µm CMOS parameters.

In this paper, a new voltage-mode (VM), all-pass filter utilizing two second-generation current conveyors and tow differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs) is proposed. This filter uses a number of passive elements grounded capacitor. This structure of filter is used to realize a quadrature oscillator. The proposed circuits employ tow optimized differential difference translinear second generation current conveyers (DDCCII). These structures are simulated using the spice simulation in the ADS software and CMOS 0.18 μm process of TSMC technology to confirm the theory. The pole frequency can be tuned in the range of [11.6 - 39.6 MHz] by a simple variation of a DC current.

A single input and three outputs voltage-mode biquadratic filter using three plus-type second-generation current conveyors (CCII), two grounded capacitors and five resistors is presented. The proposed circuit offers the following features: realization of three filter functions, which are, lowpass, bandpass and notch filters, simultaneously, the use of only grounded capacitors. PSPICE simulation results are also included.

A new precision peak detector/full-wave rectifier of input sinusoidal signals, based on usage of dual-output current conveyors, is presented in this paper. The circuit gives a DC output voltage that is the peak input voltage over a wide frequency range, with a very low ripple voltage and low harmonic distortion. The proposed circuits use an all-pass filter as a 90° phase shifter of the processed input signal. To verify the theoretical analysis, the circuit SPICE simulations results have also been included, showing good agreement with the theory. Inherently, the circuit is well suited for IC implementation.

The recent advances in IC technology have led to the trend of designing hybrid systems to benefit both analog and the digital domain. Among analog circuits, multifunctional filter along with multiphase oscillator constitutes a building block of critical importance. In this paper, a digitally reconfigurable multi-input-multi-output voltage mode multifunctional biquadratic filter has been presented. The circuit comprises of two differential voltage current conveyors (DVCCs), two grounded capacitors and two floating resistors. The digital controllability is incorporated using a current-summing network (CSN). Tunability of quality factor is achieved by the use of a 3-bit digital control word while keeping the resonant frequency constant. PSPICE simulations using TSMC 0.25 μm CMOS technology have been performed to validate the theoretically predicted results.

This paper presents two transadmittance mode universal filters having single voltage input and multiple current outputs. The filter employs three multiple output current controlled conveyors (MOCCCII) and two grounded capacitors. It can realize low pass, high pass, band pass, notch and all pass responses. As desired, the input voltage signal is inserted at high impedance input terminal and the output currents are obtained at high impedance output terminals and hence eases cascadability. The filter enjoys low sensitivity performance and low component spread;and exhibits electronic and orthogonal tunability of filter parameters via bias currents of MOCCCII. SPICE simulation results confirm the workability of the proposed structure.

A new non-inverting RC active differentiator network base on a current feedback amplifier and using a grounded capacitor is described. Small time constant can be achieved by adjusting a single grounded resistor. Because the output impedance of the CFA is very low, the output terminal of the proposed circuit can be directly connected to the next stage. Experimental results that confirm theoretical analysis are presented.
