H_∞ FILTERING FOR continuous-time systems WITH POINTWISE time-VARYING DELAY

The problem of H∞ filtering for continuous-time systems with pointwise time-varying delay is investigated in this paper. By applying an innovation analysis in Krein space, a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an H∞ filter is derived in two methods： One is the partial differential equation approach, the other is the reorganized innovation analysis approach. The former gives a solution to the proposed H∞ filtering problem in terms of the solution of a partial differential equation with boundary conditions. The later gives an analytical solution to the proposed H∞ filtering problem in terms of the solutions of Riccati and matrix differential equations.

The problem of releasing the conservatism of stability criteria continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with parameter uncertainties is addressed in this paper. The parameter uncertainties of system parameter matrices are assumed to be time-varying and norm-bounded. By using the fuzzy Lyapunov function, sufficient stability conditions are proposed for verifying the asymptotical stability of the continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with parameter uncertainties. Furthermore, a kind of technique for introducing additional matrix variables is applied for obtaining less conservative stability criteria. The obtained stability criteria are give in terms of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）, which can be easily solved via standard numerical software. Finally, a numerical example is also provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Firstly, conclusions from the closed-loop asymptotic stability of discrete-time systems which were established based on three elements including terminal constraint set, terminal cost function and local controller could be extended to continuous time systems. The stability of the continuous-time system is proved and the stability criterion is given. It is proved that the continuous time system has some inherent robustness combing the theory of quadratic optimal control, secondly. At the same time, the attractive domain which makes the system stable is introduced. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified by simulation experiments.

Based on an innovation analysis method in the Krein space,a sufficient and necessary condition is given for the existence of the solution of Hcontrol problem for a linear continuous- time system with multiple *** introducing a re-organized innovation sequence,the Hcontrol problem with delayed measurements is converted into a linear quadratic(LQ)problem and a delay- free Hestimation problem in the Krein *** controller is given in terms of two forward Riccati equations and a backward Riccati equation.
