This paper presents a distance relay analyzer with an interactive graphics *** describes instructional software and their utilization for the instruction of courses in the area of relay *** capabilities include studies of(1) directional characteristic.(2) ohm charcteristic.(3) mho characteristic,(4) impedance characteristic.(5) offset-mho *** most of the present-day static distance relays employ pahase comparison *** computer software has been made to emulate a 90° phase *** binary search algorithm has been utilized for the purpose of locating and plotting the boundry points of relay characteristic at different *** required distance relay characteristic shapes can be visualized on a high resolution CRT *** the support of a computer with graphics software and many graphics *** program tan be a useful teaching tool for relay protection studies.

Student Performance Prediction Based on Behavior Process Similarity

Student performance prediction plays an important role in improving education *** that students,exercise-answering processes exhibit different characteristics according to their different performance levels,this paper aims to mine the performance-related information from students’ exercising logs and to explore the possibility of predicting students’ performance using such process-characteristic information.A formal model of student-shared exercising processes and its discovery method from students’ exercising logs are *** similarity measures between students’ individual exercising behavior and student-shared exercising processes are presented.A prediction method of students’ performance level considering these similarity measures is explored based on classification *** experiment on real-life exercise-answering event logs shows the effectiveness of the proposed prediction method.

＜正＞By extending the baseline processor with application specific instructions,an application specific co-processor can meet the computational demands of the application. Working with the traditional co-processor interface,it doesn’t require the extensible processor core and has least impact on the existing hardware and *** paper proposes a framework for design space exploration and automatic co-processor instructions generation,in which application profiling,instruction identification and evaluation proceed seamlessly and *** optimal instruction set of the co-processor under given constraints is automatically generated from the source code of the *** demonstrate the effectiveness of the method we generate the instruction set of a SPARC V8 co-processor for a VoIP *** experiment gives promising results with the speedup of factor 2.3.

The development of assessment management system has been discussed for a long *** motivation always focuses on the evaluation of learners’ ability or on the difficulties of *** common examination content could be composed by text or simple figures,and the assistant functionalities could also be developed to meet the individual *** these functionalities couldn’t interoperate with each others in this situation,and the text content isn’t enough to represent the examination *** this paper,we proposed a novel system architecture to make interoperability realizable based on web service technologies then we also tried to integrate the multimedia streaming resources into our MAMS （MINE Assessment Management System）.Through this architecture,we could easily integrate external functionalities without redeveloping the ***,our MAMS could utilize the streaming techniques to provide multimedia information to users.
