comparative test was conducted on 11 （including the cultivar as control） new watermelon cultivars to identify the yielding ability, stability, adaptability, stress resistance and other important characteristics of the new watermelon oultivars, to thereby obtain new watermelon cultivars with good comprehensive characters suit- able for different regions and different cultivation manners. The results showed that Dali Qilin, Jingangerhao Hemeiren, Hongli Dahonghu, Hongli Baowang, Longjing Heibao and XJ-I had outstanding performance in yield, resistance and quality, and thus were worthy of further experiment demonstration and certification.

In order to solve the defect of large error in current employment quality evaluation,an employment quality evaluation model based on grey correlation degree method and fuzzy C-means(FCM)is ***,it analyzes the related research work of employment quality evaluation,establishes the employment quality evaluation index system,collects the index data,and normalizes the index data;Then,the weight value of employment quality evaluation index is determined by Grey relational analysis method,and some unimportant indexes are removed;Finally,the employment quality evaluation model is established by using fuzzy cluster analysis algorithm,and compared with other employment quality evaluation *** test results show that the employment quality evaluation accuracy of the design model exceeds 93%,the employment quality evaluation error can meet the requirements of practical application,and the employment quality evaluation effect is much better than the comparison *** comparison test verifies the superiority of the model.

We use multi-frequency ground penetrating radar （GPR） to detect and map debris thickness and shallow layer structure of buried ice-body under debris-covered. The basis analysis is depend on mainly （1） the stacking wave velocity in a common mid-point （CMP） survey, （2） the ratio of attenuation of an electromagnetic wave passing through different media, and （3） the vertical resolu- tion. Through a series of analysis, it was found that the optimal average velocity in the shallow layer （0-4 m） is 0.06 m/ns. Images obtained with antennas having different frequencies have different char- acteristics; i.e., the 50 MHz antenna provides much worse vertical resolution than the 200 and 100 MHz antennas （90 and 160 ns, respectively） and the performance of the 200 MHz antenna for a debris-covered glacier is best. This study provides the basis for accurate analysis of the structure and thickness of the debris layer in the zone of ablation of a debris-covered glacier, this study also provides a reference for research into the formation mechanism and estimation of the ice volume of glacier covered by debris.

Comparison and early selection of new clones in Populus tomentosa

In our study, two experimental plantations, respectively, with 24 and 32 new clones of P tomentosa, were established in Weixian County, Hebei Province and Wuzhi County, Henan Province using a completely randomized block design. A comparative study was conducted on the continuous 5-year-old height and diameter at breast height （DBH） of new clones in the two plantations. As well, based on genetic correlation over the years of testing of these clones, a preliminary study of early selection was carried out. Results indicate that the growth traits of the new clones in Weixian were better than those in Wuzhi. The traits show weak correlation between the two plantations. In some stands, the height, DBH and seedling volume of 5-year-old clones presented statistically significant differences among clones. In both plantations, the new clones showed over 0.6 repeatability of height, DBH and volume, as well as larger coefficients of variation （CV）. The fact that these clones achieved the largest repeatability and CV in the second year suggests that these traits are highly controlled by heredity. Thus, based on the growth traits of the second year, the new clones B305, B307, B303, H75, BT18, BT17 and 21J-1 were considered suitable in Weixian. In Wuzhi, the new clones had variable repeatability and CVs in various years and their correlation of growth traits among different years was not high. We conclude that early selection of new clones was not feasible in Wuzhi.

Effect of Plasticizers on Properties of Rice Straw Fiber Film

In order to improve the properties of rice straw fiber film, one factor contrast test method was employed. Plasticizer type was chosen as input variable, dry tension strength and elongation, wet tension strength and elongation, bursting strength and tearing strength were chosen as indexes. The results showed that there were significant differences among the means of dry tension strength, dry elongation and bursting strength of different plasticizers; there were not significant differences among the means of wet tension strength, wet elongation and tearing strength of different plasticizers; for dry tension strength and elongation, glycerol had a significant difference with sorbitol and PEG, no significant difference was observed between sorbitol and PEG, dry tension strength added glycerol had been reduced 6.8% compared with that added sorbitol, reduced 9.5% compared with that added PEG; elongation had been improved 6.1% and 9.4%, respectively; for bursting strength, sorbitol had a significant difference with glycerol and PEG, no significant difference was observed between glycerol and PEG; bursting strength added glycerol and added PEG had been improved 6.9% and 5.6%, respectively compared with that of the added sorbitol. The results provided a theoretical reference for further improving the straw fiber film manufacturing process.

Comparison on Detection Results of PRV Wild Virus Antibody Provided by Different Institutions

The detection results from different institutions were performed at the first stage of PRV wild virus antibody supervision in swine breeding. The serum samples were collected from 71 individuals and each individual was sampled twice at one week interval. The results showed that the positive coincidences for gE antibody between two institutions were 35.71% and 45.45 % ：espectively, with the total detection coincidences of 87.32% and 91.55% correspondingly. The positive coincidences for gE antibody between the two detections of each institution were 40.00% and 75.00% respectively, with the total detection coincidences of 87.32% and 97.18% correspondingly. It indicates that it is very necessary to screen the detection institution at the first supervision stage of PRV wild vires for swine population.

Comparison of New Maize Cultivars at Different Altitudes

[Objective] This study aimed to meet the demand of farmers for highyielding, high-quality, wide-adaptability and multi-resistant new maize cultivars, and to make food production grow continuously. [Method] comparative test of new maize cultivars was conducted at different altitudes in 2015, and the yield, main economic characters, agronomic traits, growth period and resistance of maize cultivars were analyzed. [Result] Ruidan 26 and Yongrui 16 can be cultivated in the areas below the altitude of 2 200 m; Huaxingdan 88 can be cultivated in the areas below the altitude of 1 750 m; the other new maize cultivars still need to be tested further. [Cenclusion] The research results can be applied in this area and other similar areas, which will effectively promote the upgrading of maize cultivars and improve the yield per unit area.
