The subversive nature of information war lies not only in the information itself, but also in the circulation and application of information. It has always been a challenge to quantitatively analyze the function and effect of information flow through command, control, communications, computer, kill, intelligence,surveillance, reconnaissance (C4KISR) system. In this work, we propose a framework of force of information influence and the methods for calculating the force of information influence between C4KISR nodes of sensing, intelligence processing,decision making and fire attack. Specifically, the basic concept of force of information influence between nodes in C4KISR system is formally proposed and its mathematical definition is provided. Then, based on the information entropy theory, the model of force of information influence between C4KISR system nodes is constructed. Finally, the simulation experiments have been performed under an air defense and attack scenario. The experimental results show that, with the proposed force of information influence framework, we can effectively evaluate the contribution of information circulation through different C4KISR system nodes to the corresponding tasks. Our framework of force of information influence can also serve as an effective tool for the design and dynamic reconfiguration of C4KISR system architecture.

Future components to enhance the basic,native security of 5G networks are either complex mechanisms whose impact in the requiring 5G communications are not considered,or lightweight solutions adapted to ultrareliable low-latency communications(URLLC)but whose security properties remain under discussion.Although different 5G network slices may have different requirements,in general,both visions seem to fall short at provisioning secure URLLC in the future.In this work we address this challenge,by introducing cost-security functions as a method to evaluate the performance and adequacy of most developed and employed non-native enhanced security mechanisms in 5G networks.We categorize those new security components into different groups according to their purpose and deployment scope.We propose to analyze them in the context of existing 5G architectures using two different approaches.First,using model checking techniques,we will evaluate the probability of an attacker to be successful against each security solution.Second,using analytical models,we will analyze the impact of these security mechanisms in terms of delay,throughput consumption,and reliability.Finally,we will combine both approaches using stochastic cost-security functions and the PRISM model checker to create a global picture.Our results are first evidence of how a 5G network that covers and strengthened all security areas through enhanced,dedicated non-native mechanisms could only guarantee secure URLLC with a probability of∼55%.

Satellite-terrestrial integrated(STI)systems represent the right solution to meet complex requirements of several services and sharing of the limited spectral resources between satellite systems and terrestrial ones must be considered to optimize performance.Network architectures and traffic demand are different for the satellite component and for the terrestrial 5G/6G one,so that the requirements of spectral resources for satellite and terrestrial systems are expected to vary dynamically in a significant range.

With the development of maritime informatization and the increased generation of marine data,the demands of efficient and reliable maritime communication surge.However,harsh and dynamic marine communication environmentcan distort transmission signal,which significantly weaken the communication performance.Therefore,for maritime wireless communication system,the channel estimation is often required to detect the channel suffered from the impacts of changing factors.Since there is no universal maritime communication channel model and channel varies dynamically,channel estimation method needs to make decision dynamically without pre-knowledge of channel distribution.This paper studies the radio channel estimation problem of wireless communications over the sea surface.To improve the estimation accuracy,this paper utilizes multi-armed bandit(MAB)problem to deal with the uncertainty of channel state information(CSI),then proposes a dynamic channel estimation algorithm to explore the global changing channel information,and asymptotically minimize the estimation error.By the aid of MAB,the estimation is not only dynamic according to channel variation,but also does not need to know the channel distribution.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve higher estimation accuracy compared to matching pursuit(MP)-based and fractional Fourier transform(FrFT)-based methods.

Following the massive commercialization of 5G mobile communication systems,both academia and industry are initiating research activities to shape the next-generation communication systems,namely,6G.Although the detailed killer-applications and key technologies of 6G have not been clearly defined yet,it is commonly expected that 6G will provide hypercoverage and hyper-connectivity.Enabled by these capabilities,the 6G communication systems are especially aiming at improving the user’s experi-ence greatly,or more ambitiously,to change the way of human’s everyday life.So far,many new services with more stringent requirements,such as truly immersive extended reali¬ty(XR),high-fidelity mobile hologram,and digital replica,are expected to be satisfied by the 6G communication systems.
