Phosphorus （P） reserve, largely derived from phosphate rock, is essential for crop growth to support the growing world population. However, a significant proportion of phosphorus used as a fertilizer runs into natural waters, causing eutro- phication and ecological damage. Moreover, most P in the food is eventually discharged as waste after being digested by human and animals. Thus, industrial activities have created a one-way flow of non-renewable P from rocks to farms to lakes, rivers and oceans.

The paper"Degradation kinetics and mechanism of aniline by heat-assisted persulfate oxidation"(Xie et al.,2012)overlooked the literature on the Boyland-Sims Oxidation.The major product of the reaction between aniline and peroxydisulfate is aniline-o-sulfate.There already exist many detailed studies on the kinetics of the reaction,several reviews(Behrman,1988,2006),and a number of discussions of the mechanism(Behrman,2014).The by-products that Xie et al.(2012)have identified are,however,a useful contribution to the literature.

Meteorological comment is a kind of rational,thoughtful and knowledgeable argumentation form that communicators use mass media tools or carriers to directly express their own wishes on the newly occurred or discovered meteorological news facts,problems and phenomena.At present,the writing of meteorological comment has received special attention.Its deep background includes not only the international background of global attention to climate change,but also the domestic background of China’s proposed carbon peak and carbon neutralization targets,and more importantly,the scientific and technological background of the frequent occurrence of extreme meteorological disasters caused by climate change and its early warning and disaster reduction.The prospect of great importance attached to the writing of meteorological comments is that a new subject,namely the grammatology of meteorological comment,is bound to emerge,and the construction of the grammatology of meteorological comment has its own unique requirements.

1.Introduction We thank Prof.Buttner for his comments on our paper(van Schijndel et al.,2020),which allow us to clarify our work and the tectonic model we proposed for the eastern margin of the Namaqua Sector of the Namaqua Natal Metamorphic Province.The Kaaien Terrane forms a tectonic transition between the Kaapvaal Craton,Rehoboth Province,Kheis belt and the Archeachap Terrane of the Namaqua Sector and forms part of a NW-vergent foreland thrust sequence in the Namaqua Front(e.g.Cornell et al.,2006).The exact tectonic extent of the Kaaien Terrane is still unclear and it has recently been proposed to be part of the newly defined Kheis Terrane(Van Niekerk and Beukes,2019).

Automatically generating a brief summary for legal-related public opinion news(LPO-news,which contains legal words or phrases)plays an important role in rapid and effective public opinion disposal.For LPO-news,the critical case elements which are significant parts of the summary may be mentioned several times in the reader comments.Consequently,we investigate the task of comment-aware abstractive text summarization for LPO-news,which can generate salient summary by learning pivotal case elements from the reader comments.In this paper,we present a hierarchical comment-aware encoder(HCAE),which contains four components:1)a traditional sequenceto-sequence framework as our baseline;2)a selective denoising module to filter the noisy of comments and distinguish the case elements;3)a merge module by coupling the source article and comments to yield comment-aware context representation;4)a recoding module to capture the interaction among the source article words conditioned on the comments.Extensive experiments are conducted on a large dataset of legal public opinion news collected from micro-blog,and results show that the proposed model outperforms several existing state-of-the-art baseline models under the ROUGE metrics.

The paper of Shen et al., entitled "Surveying of the deformed terraces and crust shortening rate in the northwest Tarim Basin", was published in Chinese Science Bulletin (Vol. 46, No. 12). Shen et al. found the deformation of Late Pleistocene to Holocene terraces of the Boguzi River across the Artushi Anticline in the northwest Tarim Basin close to the Pamir, and made level survey and differential GPS measurement, which is of great importance to geodynamics for research on the coupling of Tianshan Mountains uplifting and Tarim Basin depression. But their understanding to the deformation mechanics of terraces and the calculation methods of crustal shortening are open to discussion. Therefore, we discuss it with Shen Jun et al.
