Application of Distributed Interactive simulation in Army combat simulation

This paper briefs the architecture, characteristics, key technology of distributed interactive simulation, and the research and application of distributed interactive simulation in US armed forces. In combination with the practice of combat simulation of PLA army forces, it has explored the application of distributed interactive simulation technology in army combat simulation, and brought forwards the basic concept of realizing combat simulation of army forces with distributed interactive system.

An entropy-based measure model of battlefield knowledge is presented in an effort to evaluate the effectiveness of information sharing in battlefield. Firstly, the battlefield knowledge represent model is introduced. The quantity measure of the knowledge increments from information cooperation is also presented. Then, the evaluation and analytical framework based on this model is discussed as a demonstration in detail. Finally, to investigate the battlefield knowledge increments effectiveness to the combat outcome, we conduct the combat simulation Based on Agent (SBA). The result validates the validity of the evaluation model and shows the relation between the force attrition and the battlefield knowledge level.

Tube-based robust reinforcement learning for autonomous maneuver decision for UCAVs

Reinforcement Learning(RL)algorithms enhance intelligence of air combat AutonomousManeuver Decision(AMD)policy,but they may underperform in target combat environmentswith *** enhance the robustness of the AMD strategy learned by RL,thisstudy proposes a Tube-based Robust RL(TRRL)***,this study introduces a tube todescribe reachable trajectories under disturbances,formulates a method for calculating tubes basedon sum-of-squares programming,and proposes the TRRL algorithm that enhances robustness byutilizing tube size as a quantitative ***,this study introduces offline techniques forregressing the tube size function and establishing a tube library before policy learning,aiming toeliminate complex online tube solving and reduce the computational burden during ***,an analysis of the tube library demonstrates that the mitigated AMD strategy achievesgreater robustness,as smaller tube sizes correspond to more cautious *** finding highlightsthat TRRL enhances robustness by promoting a conservative *** effectively balanceaggressiveness and robustness,the proposed TRRL algorithm introduces a“laziness factor”as aweight of ***,combat simulations in an environment with disturbances confirm thatthe AMD policy learned by the TRRL algorithm exhibits superior air combat performance comparedto selected robust RL baselines.

Design of simulation System for Effectiveness Evaluation of Future Airspace Window Shooting

Future Airspace Window Shooting is a newly developed technology, which needs effectiveness evaluation before widely used. Future airspace window shooting technology, simulation system development principles and software chosen to develop the simulation system are introduced in the first. And then the overall design of the system, realization of the system and effectiveness evaluation through simulation are discussed in detail. Through the simulation, it is known that the FAW shooting has more superior performance when facing maneuvering targets.

The combat process of naval systems is very complex because it is difficult to describe the cooperative interaction of the naval systems engagement. The Multi-Agent （MA） is adopted to describe the naval entities’ actions about cooperation and self-organization. Combining the characteristics of the naval system with the MA the naval combat simulation models based on Multi-Agent are established to describe and analyze the naval systems combat mission. An example on the warship warfare is carried out by the simulation models and the results show feasible.
