Removal of sulfur in coke oven gas by mixing ZnO-based additive into coal

A new technology for recycling EAF dust and removal of sulfur from coking oven gas was investigated. The new technology does not need to set up special equipment to treat COG (coke oven gas), and it is only acquired by mixing the ZnO base additive into the coke coal. In the stage of pyrolysis of the coal volatile, ZnO of the additive combines with H 2S, CS 2, COS and C 2H 2SH of coal gas, forming ZnS in coal char. In the stage of coking of the coal char, Zn is gasified with S, then the gas Zn react with H 2S, CS 2, COS and C 2H 2SH, forming ZnS in coal gas and depositing as dust. After the collected ZnS dust was regenerated, it can be recycling as the additive again. The sulfur in coal gas can be completely removed if the mole ratio of the added Zn to the volatilized S is more than 1, and the sulfur in coke is also slightly decreased comparing with the coke without the additive. The EAF dust containing ZnO and Fe 2O 3 can be the base material of the desulfurizing additive.

The circulating fluidized bed(CFB)boiler is an essential option,serving as a flexible power ***,it is notable that CFB boilers exhibit noticeable limitations in rapid load *** study delved into the impact of fuel characteristics on CFB load change rate,combustion efficiency,and original NOx emissions using a 2 MW CFB experimental *** findings revealed that blending pulverized coal or modified fuel positively influenced the improvement of CFB load change rate,with blending modified fuel showing a more significant *** the modified fuel and pulverized coal increased the load change rate within the 50%–100%range by 164.4%and 57.3%,***,blending pulverized coal and modified fuel significantly reduced NOx emissions,although there remained room for improvement in combustion *** to conventional combustion,blending pulverized coal and blending modified fuel decreased NOx emissions by 35.9%and 41.4%at 100%load,respectively.

Study on "fracturing-sealing" integration technology based on high-energy gas fracturing in single seam with high gas and low air permeability

To improve the gas extraction efficiency of single seam with high gas and low air permeability,we developed the"fracturing-sealing"integration technology,and carried out the engineering experiment in the3305 Tunliu *** the experiment,coal seams can achieve the aim of antireflection effect through the following process:First,project main cracks with the high energy pulse ***,break the coal body by delaying the propellant ***,destroy the dense structure of the hard coal body,and form loose slit rings around the ***,seal the boreholes with the"strong-weak-strong"pressurized sealing *** results are as follows:The average concentration of gas extraction increases from8.3%to 39.5%.The average discharge of gas extraction increases from 0.02 to 0.10 m^3/*** tunneling speeds up from 49.5 to 130 m/*** the permeability of coal seams improves nearly *** the same conditions,the technology is much more efficient in depressurization and antireflection than common *** other words,it will provide a more effective way for the gas extraction of single seam with high gas and low air permeability.

Alastraet： The gas-based direct reduction of iron ore pellets was carried out by simulating the typical gas composition in coal gasification process, Midrex and HyMII processes. The influences of gas composition and temperature on reduction were studied. Results show that the increasing of HE proportion is helpful to improve the reduction rate. However, when ~o（H2）：~o（CO）〉1.6：1, changes of HE content have little influence on it. Appropriate reduction temperature is about 950 ℃, and higher temperature （1 000 ℃） may unfavorably slow the reduction rate. From the kinetics analysis at 950 ℃, the most part of reduction course is likely controlled by interfacial chemical reaction mechanism and in the final stage controlled by a combined effect of gaseous diffusion and interfacial chemical reaction mechanisms. From the utilizations study of different reducing gases at 950 ℃, the key step in reduction course is the 3rd stage （FeO→Fe）, and the utilization of reducing gas increases with the rise of HE proportion.
