This paper deals with the problem of clutter suppression in spaceborne distributed synthetic aperture radar （D-SAR） with nonuniform three-dimensional （3D） configuration geometry. In order to make a breakthrough of the configuration limitation of the traditional space time adaptive processing （STAP） based on uniform array and improve the inhomogeneous clutter suppres- sion performance, this paper considers signal reconstrtiction technique using array interpolation to process the D-SAR signal. An array interpolation signal reconstruction method based on pitching-partition is derived then a signal reconstruction 3D-STAP clutter suppression method applied to nonuniform 3D configuration is proposed. In particular, the proposed method is compared with conventional methods and the performance analysis is carried out based on simulations. The improvement factor （IF） for clutter suppression is imported and reported as a benchmark on the clutter suppression effect.

In this paper, a novel clutter suppression method in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is proposed. Time segments of hill are represented by their corresponding particle in B-scan. Those particles in B-scan are clustered to represent reflectors (such as buried targets, air-soil interface). The clusters of buried target have a particle sequence with single peak. Therefore, if the particles donot belong to the cluster of buried target, time segment they represent will be suppressed. Experimental results and simulation are provided to demonstrate that the new algorithm outperforms existing approaches.

The essence of nonstationary clutter for airborne radar with conformal antennas array (CAA) is analyzed,and an angle-Doppler compensation method for clutter suppression is *** with the uniform linear antennas array (LAA),the clutter angle-Doppler spectrum distribution of CAA should be described in four-dimension space,i.e.,three-dimension space and time,because the elements of CAA are distributed in three-dimension *** to this theory,the clutter nonstationarity for airborne radar with CAA is firstly analyzed and the nonstationary nature of it is *** an improved STAP method for airborne radar with CAA is proposed,and it compensates for the mainlobe clutter in four-dimension frequency ***,the simulation results show the effect of the novel method.

A novel clutter suppression method in ground penetrating radar （GPR） is proposed. The preliminary result is obtained by using target resolution improved processing （TRIP）. The preliminary result will be used as an initial input for TRIP iteration. All TRIP iteration steps are the adaptive linear combination of the previous TRIP result and the preliminary result. This adaptive combination strategy can balance clutter suppression and target information protection, which is considered as a troublesome contradiction and a chronic problem in clutter suppression research. When the matrix entropy of iteration result converges, the algorithm can achieve a good result both in clutter suppression and target protection. Experimental results demonstrate that the new algorithm outperforms the existing approaches.

Integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)is regarded as a pivotal technology for 6G *** this paper,we employ Kullback-Leibler divergence(KLD)as the unified performance metric for ISAC systems and investigate constellation and beamforming design in the presence of *** particular,the constellation design problem is solved via the successive convex approximation(SCA)technique,and the optimal beamforming in terms of sensing KLD is proven to be equivalent to maximizing the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR)of echo *** results demonstrate the tradeoff between sensing and communication performance under different parameter ***,the beampattern generated by the proposed algorithm achieves significant clutter suppression and higher SINR of echo signals compared with the conventional scheme.

Improved eigenanalysis canceler based on data-independent clutter subspace estimation for space-time adaptive processing

Conformal antennas array （CAA） offer many advantages over conventional planar antennas array （PAA） such as less payload weight, larger effective aperture and increased field of view without mechanically canting or rotating the array. In this paper, airborne fire control radar （AFCR） with CAA is analyzed in terms of antennas modeling, working mechanism, subarray synthesis, clutter characteristics and clutter suppression method, etc. Firstly, the mathematics model and geometry configuration of AFCR with CAA are given, and the manners of subarray division and working are obtained based on the requirement for moved target detection of AFCR, and the pattern properties of CAA are analyzed. Secondly, the clutter spectrum distribution in space-time plane is analyzed. Finally, clutter suppression performance of existing space- time adaptive processing （STAP） techniques for practice is compared, and the minimum detectable velocity of AFCR with CAA is shown.

The eigenanalysis canceler(EC)method which is suitable for nonhomogeneous clutter can suppress clutter efectively by discarding the eigenvectors of small eigenvalues,which is a well-known subspace-based space-time adaptive processing(STAP)***,the computational complexity of conventional EC STAP method is huge due to the eigenvalue ***,the corresponding performance would be degraded signifcantly by the subspace leakage phenomenon,since the clutter subspace is not strictly confned to a low-rank subspace any ***,an improved EC STAP method based on the data-independent clutter subspace estimation is proposed to reduce the computational complexity,where the clutter subspace is rapidly constructed by sampling the prolate spheroidal wave functions(PSWF)*** order to deal with the subspace leakage phenomenon,the proposed EC-PSWF STAP method is modifed based on the covariance matrix taper(CMT)to obtain the covariance matrix by re-establishing the noise *** corresponding performance of proposed method is evaluated by using the numerical simulation.

Co-frequency interference is frequently encountered in the aerostat passive bistatic radar exploiting frequency modulated broadcasting signals. Independent component analysis(ICA) in frequency domain, one of the classic Blind source separation(BSS) algorithms, is utilized to recover the direct signal in the above *** solve the permutation problem of the frequency domain BSS, we use the method of correlation in time-frequency domain between the output of ICA and the coarse reference signal achieved by pattern synthesis with nulls in the direction of the interference or reference stations. In order to suppress the interferences and clutters, the separated direct signals of the reference and interference broadcasting signals are fed into a type of two dimensional adaptive filters in space and fast temporal domain. The processing scheme shows good performance in target detection, which is validated by computer simulation.

The conventional space-time adaptive processing(STAP) method such as the typical sample matrix inversion(SMI)-based STAP method is difficult to implement for a practical system because intense computational complexity arises in calculating the inversion of a space-time covariance matrix *** to the block Hermitian matrix property of space-time covariance matrix,a new pulse-order recursive method is proposed in this paper to calculate the inverse covariance matrix for the STAP adaptive weight,which can reduce the computational complexity *** proposed method requires initially calculating the inverse covariance matrix of the first pulse-order recursively based on the block Hermitian matrix *** the following,the inversion of space-time covariance matrix is obtained recursively based on the previous pulse-order inverse covariance ***,the STAP adaptive weight is calculated based on the inversion space-time covariance matrix previously *** with the conventional SMI-based STAP algorithms,the computational complexity of the proposed method is reduced to more than 50% for the same clutter suppression *** method can be applied to practical systems benefiting from small computational complexity and stable clutter suppression performance.
