OBJECTIVE:To preliminarily analyze key factors influencing curative effect through clinical observations of acupoint application for "treatment of win-ter disease in summer" used to prevent and treat bronchial asthma in ***:In an observational study and prospective cohort study,we observed children in remission of asthma at three class Ⅲ grade A TCM hospitals in Liaoning,Hubei,and ***:A total of 609 children conformed to diagnostic and inclusive standards for remission of bronchial *** follow-up visits,we observed their skin reactions and the time and chance of treatment with different therapies in the three hospitals;we also compared and analyzed different drugs,acupoints,and *** found that the key Chinese drugs were Bai Jie Zi(Semen Sinapis Albae) and Yian Hu Suo(Rhizoma Corydalis);the key acupoints were Feishu(BL 13),Gaohuang(BL 43),Dingchuan(EX-B1),Tiantu(CV 22),and Shanzhong(CV 17);and the best preparation was a mixture of drugs,ginger juice,and *** application was practiced on the hottest days of summer and the coldest days of winter for 0.5 to 2 h with the lowest rate of asthma ***:The present data analysis shows that the curative effect of acupoint application for "treatment of winter disease in summer" may be influenced by recipes of Chinese drugs,preparations,prescriptions of acupoints,chance,time,and skin reactions.A curative effect is the result of the comprehensive action of these factors.

With the upsurge of artificial intelligence(AI)technology in the medical field,its application in ophthalmology has become a cutting-edge research ***,machine learning techniques have shown remarkable achievements in diagnosing,intervening,and predicting ophthalmic *** meet the requirements of clinical research and fit the actual progress of clinical diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic AI,the Ophthalmic Imaging and Intelligent Medicine Branch and the Intelligent Medicine Committee of Chinese Medicine Education Association organized experts to integrate recent evaluation reports of clinical AI research at home and abroad and formed a guideline on clinical research evaluation of AI in ophthalmology after several rounds of discussion and *** main content includes the background and method of developing this guideline,an introduction to international guidelines on the clinical research evaluation of AI,and the evaluation methods of clinical ophthalmic AI *** guideline introduces general evaluation methods of clinical ophthalmic AI research,evaluation methods of clinical ophthalmic AI models,and commonly-used indices and formulae for clinical ophthalmic AI model evaluation in detail,and amply elaborates the evaluation methods of clinical ophthalmic AI *** guideline aims to provide guidance and norms for clinical researchers of ophthalmic AI,promote the development of regularization and standardization,and further improve the overall level of clinical ophthalmic AI research evaluations.

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Zishengukang Pill(滋肾骨康丸) on delayed union of ***:Sixty-four patients with delayed union of fracture were randomly divided into a control group of 32 cases treated with Western medicine and a treatment group of 32 cases treated with Western medicine and Zishengukang *** 3 courses of treatment with 30 days as a course,the curative effects in the two groups were evaluated and their clinical symptoms,union rate and union time of fracture were ***:The treatment resulted in cure in 25 cases,improvement in 6 cases and ineffectiveness in 1 case with the effective rate at 96.8% in the treatment group,higher than 81.3% in the control group(P<0.05).The union rate of fracture in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(34.3% vs.12.5%,P<0.05).The union time of fracture in the treatment group was shorter than that in the control group((4.0±1.7) months vs.(5.0±1.4) months,P<0.05).Conclusion:Zishengukang Pill with obvious curative effect in the treatment of delayed union of fracture is worth popularizing.

Primary liver cancer(PLC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in China. PLC is characterized by insidious onset, rapid progress, poor quality of life, and short survival time. Notably, current treatment strategies remain unsatisfactory. Traditional Chinese medicines(TCM) have been used to treat a variety of diseases, including liver diseases, for more than 2000 years. In this study, we performed a review of the use frequency and clinical efficacy of TCM in treating PLC. Relevant literature from January 1, 2009, to January 1, 2021 was retrieved from network databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), Chongqing VIP, Wanfang, PubMed, and SinoMed. The most frequently used TCM and their efficacy in PLC treatment were summarized. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 33 articles were selected. Overall, the efficacy of the combination of TCM and Western medicines in the treatment of PLC was higher than that in the control groups(i.e. treatment with Western medicines alone)(65.11% vs.44.31%, P research quality. Further high-quality research on herb sources, formula components and dosage, toxicology, and ethics of TCM is necessary. In conclusion, TCM play a promising role in the treatment and management of PLC, although further investigations are warranted.

Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world. In recent years, the incidence and mortality of esophageal cancer have increased year by year, which has seriously threatened human health. Surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as the primary treatments of Western medicine, have achieved specific results in the clinic, but each has its limitations, this is mainly related to their side effects. The diversified treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine have visible clinical effects, especially in terms of reducing toxicity and increasing efficiency. This present review reviews the research progress of esophageal cancer in terms of traditional Chinese medicine treatment, including the application of Chinese medicine extract, Chinese herbal compound, Chinese patent medicine and TCM external treatment in clinical practice, may provide valuable information for the adjuvant treatment of esophageal cancer with traditional Chinese medicine.

Background Based on the excellent medical care and management system for Chinese veterans,as well as the detailed medical documentation available,we aim to construct a Chinese Veteran clinical research （CVCR） platform on noncommunicable diseases （NCDs） and carry out studies of the primary disabling *** The Geriatric Neurology Department of Chinese People＇s Liberation Army General Hospital and veterans＇ hospitals serve as the leading and participating units in the platform *** fundamental constituents of the platform are veteran *** typical cluster sampling is adopted to recruit veteran communities.A cross-sectional study of mental,neurological,and substance use （MNS） disorders are performed in two stages using screening scale such as the Mini-Mental State Examination and Montreal cognitive assessment,followed by systematic neuropsychological assessments to make clinical diagnoses,evaluated disease awareness and care *** A total of 9 676 among 277 veteran communities from 18 cities are recruited into this platform,yielding a response rate of 83.86％.8 812 subjects complete the MNS subproject screening and total response rate is 91.70％.The average participant age is （82.01±4.61） years,69.47％ of veterans are 80 years or *** participants are male （94.01％）,83.36％ of subjects have at least a junior high school *** overall health status of veterans is good and *** most common NCD are cardiovascular disorders （86.44％）,urinary and genital diseases （73.14％）,eye and ear problems （66.25％）,endocrine （56.56％） and neuro-psychiatric disturbances （50.78％）.Conclusion We first construct a veterans＇ comprehensive clinical research platform for the study of NCDs that is primarily composed of highly educated Chinese males of advanced age and utilize this platform to complete a cross-sectional national investigation of MNS disorders among *** good and stable health condition of the veterans could facilitat
