The Implement of Green Management in Our Domestic chemical industry Enterprises

the chemical industry is the pillar industry of national economy, but also features in high energy consumption and high emission. Based on the cointegration analysis and causality method, this paper empirically researches the relationship between China chemical industry energy consumption and economic growth from 1996 to 2007. It finds that there exists a long-term cointegration relationship between the chemical industry energy consumption and economic development. At the same time, the chemical industry development will lead to energy consumption, but the converse is not true. The results show that to promote healthy and sustainable development of chemical industry in China, it is necessary to ensure adequate energy supply, but also constantly improve energy efficiency and adjust the energy structure.

＜正＞Since the reform and opening up, great progress have been made in chemical industry. But there are still some problems in chemical industry enterprises’ management. The decisive factor that determines and restricts chemical industry enterprises’ development is the relationship between them and the environment. Since the world is paying more attention to environment protection and Chinese domestic regulations and laws of environment protection are getting more complete and mature, the environment problems have become a major cause that restricts the existence and development of chemical industry enterprises. Faced with this situation, the domestic enterprises must change the administrative style and bring Green Management into their long-term strategy and routine management.

Coal and carbon-containing waste are valuable primary and secondary carbon carriers.In the current dominant linear economy,such carbon resources are generally combusted to produce electricity and heat and as a way to resolve a nation’s waste issue.Not only is this a wastage of precious carbon resources,which can be chemically utilized as raw materials for production of other value-added goods,it is also contrary to international efforts to reduce carbon emissions and increase resource efficiency and conservation.This article presents a concept to support the transformation from a linear‘one-way cradle to grave manufacturing model’toward a circular carbon economy.The development of new and sustainable value chains through the utilization of coal and waste as alternative raw materials for the chemical industry via a coupling of the energy,chemical and waste management sectors offers a viable and future-oriented perspective for closing the carbon cycle.Further benefits also include a lowering of the carbon footprint and increasing resource efficiency and conservation of primary carbon resources.In addition,technological innovations and developments that are necessary to support a successful sector coupling will be identified.To illustrate our concept,a case analysis of domestic coal and waste as alternative feedstock to imported crude oil for chemical production in Germany will be presented.Last but not least,challenges posed by path dependency along technological,institutional and human dimensions in the sociotechnical system for a successful transition toward a circular carbon economy will be discussed.

Listed companies are the main body of corporate social responsibility reports released by Chinese enterprises. However, less than 30% of listed companies have released CSR reports, and the information disclosure of CSR in China is not good. Different industries have different requirements for social responsibility, and it is necessary to explore the information disclosure of corporate social responsibility under the industry constraints. Through the study of social responsibility reports or corporate annual reports of China’s 308 listed chemical companies, we can evaluate the current level of disclosure, establish the suitable evaluation standard, improve the disclosure content, and then optimize the quality of social responsibility information disclosure of China’s chemical enterprises and promote the sustainable development of chemical enterprises.
