As pollutant constituents getting complicated and the ever increasing public demand for water quality,some deep/ultra-deep treatment technologies have attracted more attention of researchers to continuously improve wastewater treatment efficiency on the basis of upgrading *** this work,two novel positively-charged thin-film nanocomposite (TFN)membranes were successfully prepared by incorporating different quaternized carbon-based nanoparticles (QCBNPs) into PEI aqueous solution (0.5 wt.%) via interfacial polymerization (IP),as illustrated in Fig.1,in order to improve their isoelectric point and hydrophilic ***,0.04 g·Land 0.2 g·Lwere identified as the optimal doping content of quaternized graphene oxide (QGO) and quaternized carbon quantum dots (QCQDs) for preparing TFN membranes on the basis of their perm-selectivity orthogonal experimental *** showed that the doping of hydrophilic quaternized monomers could not only create new fast water transport channels,but also enhance selective separation of both resultant TFN *** terms of those two CBNPs,QCQDs manifested superior permeate flux (25 LMH·bar) and great rejection (all greater than 90%) of four types of pharmaceuticals (PhACs) with molecular weights lower than 300 Da and different ionization (p Ka) and hydrophobicity (log K).In addition,the as-prepared TFN membrane had an outstanding antifouling property when bovine serum albumin was selected as the model ***,this work proposed a viable strategy for fabricating positively charged TFN membrane towards efficient removal of emerging small-sized organic contaminants.

Electromagnetic interference shielding(EMI SE)modules are the core com-ponent of modern ***,the tra-ditional metal-based SE modules always take up indispensable three-dimensional space inside electronics,posing a major obstacle to the integra-tion of *** innovation of integrating 3D-printed conformal shielding(c-SE)modules with packaging materials onto core electronics offers infinite possibilities to satisfy ideal SE func-tion without occupying additional ***,the 3D printable carbon-based inks with various proportions of graphene and carbon nanotube nanoparticles are well-formulated by manipulating their rheological ***,the free-constructed architectures with arbitrarily-customized structure and multifunctionality are created via 3D *** particular,the SE performance of 3D-printed frame is up to 61.4 dB,simultaneously accompanied with an ultralight architecture of 0.076 g cm^(-3) and a superhigh specific shielding of 802.4 dB cm3 g^(-1).Moreover,as a proof-of-concept,the 3D-printed c-SE module is in situ integrated into core electronics,successfully replacing the traditional metal-based module to afford multiple functions for electromagnetic compatibility and thermal ***,this scientific innovation completely makes up the blank for assembling carbon-based c-SE modules and sheds a brilliant light on developing the next generation of high-performance shielding materials with arbitrarily-customized structure for integrated electronics.
