By comparing quadrupole moments between the interacting boson model(IBM)and the collective model,a simple calculation for the triaxial deformation parameters β and γ in the O(6)-like nuclei is presented,based on the intrinsic frame in the *** systematics of the β and γ are *** realistic cases are calculated for the even-even Xe,Ba,and Ce isotopes,and the smooth dependences of the strength ratio sθ_(3)/and the effective charges e2 on the proton and neutron boson numbers Nπand Nv are discovered.

Single W boson production is analyzed in a data sample collected by L3 detector at Large Electron Positron Collider in *** integrated luminosity is 176.4pb^(-1)with center-of-mass energy at√s=*** signal consists of large missing energy final states with a single energetic lepton or two hadronic *** total cross section of single W production is measured to be 0.58±0.13±0.04 pb,in good agreement with standard model *** this measurement,the limits on the anomalousγWW triple-gauge-boson couplings are derived at 95%confidence level:-0.48<△_(kr)<0.38 and-0.50<λ_(γ)<0.41.

boson sampling is a promising candidate for demonstrating quantum supremacy. The validation that involves judging whether a quantum setup outputs photons following the boson sampling model is an essential task in the experiments. However, the current validation methods may result in an incorrect conclusion being reached in realistic experiments, in which no ideally identical photons exist. Accordingly, this study proposes a slope-based approach, which is an extended Bayesian validation, to model the degree of photon indistinguishability. Through numerical simulations and performance evaluations, we demonstrate that the proposed approach can correctly validate boson sampling against the distribution of classical particles. In addition to offering a useful approach for validation, our research indicates that physicists should pay more attention to the quality of photon indistinguishability in boson sampling experiments.

We study the evolution of the boson peak for water confined in cement paste obtained by means of Inelastic Neutron Scattering from room temperature to the deep supercooled *** analyze the data in terms of a universal-like model,developed for glass forming liquids in the frame of the energy *** such a way it is possible to discriminate between the fragile and strong glass forming character of supercooled liquids and the dynamical crossover,fragile to strong,between ***,we confirm the link between the boson peak and the water *** particular,the main result is represented by a crossover from a local energetic minima configuration to that characteristic of saddle points on going towards the deep supercooled regime up to the dynamical arrest.

We investigate the one-loop contributions to the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson in the MSSM considering the effect of slepton flavor mixing, which is parametrized by the dimensionless parameter δXY(X, Y = L, R) in the slepton mass matrices. For the surviving samples under the experimental constraints, we calculate the corrections to the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson in terms of δXY. We find that the mass correction ?mhcan even be larger than 10 GeV for large δRLor δLR. Moreover, ?mhhas strong sensitivity to δRLor δLR, while the weak sensitivity to δLLor δRR, sinceδRLor δLRenters directly into the coupling of Higgs boson with sleptons in the calculations of Higgs boson self-energies.

We study an effective theory beyond the standard model(SM) where either of the two additional gauge singlets, a Majorana fermion and a real scalar, constitutes all or some fraction of dark matter. In particular, we focus on the masses of the two singlets in the range of O(10) MeV-O(10) GeV with a neutrino portal interaction, which plays an important role not only in particle physics but also in cosmology and astronomy. We point out that the thermal dark matter abundance can be explained by(co-)annihilation, where the dark matter with a mass greater than 2 GeV can be tested in future lepton colliders, CEPC, ILC, FCC-ee and CLIC, in the light of the Higgs boson invisible decay. When the gauge singlets are lighter than O(100) MeV, the interaction can affect the neutrino propagation in the universe due to its annihilation with cosmic background neutrino into the gauge singlets. Although in this case it can not be the dominant dark matter, the singlets are produced by the invisible decay of the Higgs boson at such a rate which is fully within reach of future lepton colliders. In particular, a high energy cutoff of cosmic-ray neutrino,which may account for the non-detection of Greisen-Zatsepin-Kuzmin(GZK) neutrino or the non-observation of the Glashow resonance, can be set. Interestingly, given the cutoff and the mass(range) of WIMPs, a neutrino mass can be"measured" kinematically.
