Most studies on spinal cord neuronal injury have focused on spinal cord tissue histology and the expression of nerve cell damage and repair-related genes. The importance of the microcirculation is often ignored in spinal cord injury and repair research. Therefore, in this study, we established a rat model of intervertebral disc extrusion by inserting a silica gel pad into the left ventral sur-face of T13. Electroacupuncture was used to stimulate the bilateralZusanlipoint （ST36） and Neiting point （ST44） for 14 days. Compared with control animals, blood lfow in the ifrst lumbar vertebra （L1） was noticeably increased in rats given electroacupuncture. Microvessel density in the T13 segment of the spinal cord was increased significantly as well. The number of normal neurons was higher in the ventral horn of the spinal cord. In addition, vacuolation in the white matter was lessened. No obvious glial cell proliferation was visible. Furthermore, hindlimb motor function was improved signiifcantly. Collectively, our results suggest that electroacupuncture can improve neuronal morphology and microcirculation, and promote the recovery of neurological functions in a rat model of intervertebral disc extrusion.

BACKGROUND Decreased ovarian reserve function is an ovarian hypofunction disease that occurs in women before 40 years of age,leading to a decline in fertility and perimeno-pausal symptoms,such as irregular menstruation,amenorrhea,infertility,de-creased libido,and autonomic nervous ***(FMT)is a com-pound mixture of estradiol tablets and estradiol didroxyprogesterone tablets,which can improve ovarian reserve function by supplementation of exogenous ***,this treatment has also been shown to cause breast pain,gastrointestinal discomfort,irregular vaginal bleeding,and changes in sexual *** severe cases,FMT can promote the development of breast cancer,endometrial cancer,and venous embolic *** To observe the effects of Kuntai capsules and FMT on endocrine indexes and uterine artery blood circulation in patients with decreased ovarian reserve *** Patients(130)with decreased ovarian reserve function,who were treated in our hospital from May 2018 to May 2020,were divided into two groups:The FMT group,in which patients were treated with FMT,and the observation group,in which patients were treated with Kuntai *** medicine symptom scores,uterine artery blood flow parameters,ovarian ultrasound test indexes,pictorial blood loss assessment chart(PBAC)scores,and hormone levels were recorded,and total effective rates were calculated for both *** The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the FMT group(P<0.05).After treatment,primary symptoms,including low menstrual volume,delayed menstruation,red color and thick consistency of menses,di-zziness,palpitation,weakness at the waist and knee,insomnia and excessive dreaming,irritability,and dryness and astringency of the pudendal canal in the observation group decreased,and scores for primary and secondary symptoms in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the FMT group(P<0.05).The systolic peak flow rate(

Pulse examination was probably the earliest attempt to distinguish between health and illnesses. Starting at the pre-Hippocratic era, Chinese medicine practitioners developed techniques for pulse examination and defined pulse images based on their perceptions of pulse waveforms at the radial artery. Pulse images were described using basic variables （frequency, rhythm, wideness, length, deepness, and qualities） developed under philosophical trends such as Taoism and Confucianism. Recent advances in biomedical instrumentation applied to cardiology opened possibilities to research on pulse examination based on ancient Chinese medical theories： the pulse wave analysis. Although strongly influenced by philosophy, some characteristics used to describe a pulse image are interpretable as parameters obtained by pulse waveform analysis such as pulse wave velocity and augmentation index. Those clinical parameters reflect concepts unique to Chinese medicine - such as yin- yang - while are based on wave reflection and resonance theories of fluids mechanics. Major limitations for integration of Chinese and Western pulse examination are related to quantitative description of pulse images and pattern differentiation based on pulse examination. Recent evidence suggests that wave reflection and resonance phenomena may bridge Chinese medicine and cardiologyto provide a more evidence-based medical practice.

Objective: To observe the revascularization and the opportunity of cross finger flap. Methods: An animal model was developed to permit daily monitoring of neovascularization of the flap with autoradiography, tissue transparent technique, gross observation and histological examination. Results: The revascularization of the flap was chiefly raised from the surrounding tissues. The pedicles of 334 cross finger flaps of the patients were successfully divided from 1 to 5 d after operations, averagely 3.3 d. All of the cases showed satisfatory results according to a follow up survey of 3 to 72 mon. The results further proved that the revascularization of the cross finger flaps had accomplished within 3 d. Conclusions: It suggests that the division of a cross finger flap can be carried out between the 3rd and 5th day after operation with a high degree of safety.

Objective. To explore the dynamical changes of the serum NO concentrations after SAH and the effects of acanthopanax senti cosus. Background. No, as a vascul ar regulat i on factor, Plays an important role on cerebral blood circulation .High intention has been paid to the rclationaship betveen No and cerebral vasospasm following SAH. Methods. The serum NO concentrat,ons of simple SAH group and acanthopanax senticosus--treated group were dynamically measured in the 2nd, 4th and 6th day after onset. Results. The serum NO concentrations of simple SAH group and acanthopanax scnticosus-treated group in the 4th and 6th day after onset were obviously lower than those of control group(P＜0.01,P＜0.05).The serum NO concentrations of the two groups reached their minimum in the 4th day after onset and then went up gradually in the 6th day. The content of the red blood cell in the cerebrospinal tiui of the simple SAH group was significamily contrary related to the Serum N0 concentration in the 4 th day (r=-0. 69. P＜ 0. 01). Discussion. The Sources , Synthesis, functious of No , the relationship between No and SAl and the effects of acanthopanax Senticoaus were discussed. Conclusion. The serum NO concentrations of the patients after SAH decrease and that may be involvea in the mechanism of cerebral vasospasm (CVS). Acanthopanax senticosus can increase the serum NO concentrations.
