High quality-performance by changing parameters of antenna array

Adaptive virtual MIMO-based cross-layer design for wireless sensor networks via hybrid optimization model

In recent times,many MAC protocols were implemented for boosting and improving energy efficiency(EE)in ***,the cooperative MIMO method is found to be much capable of enhancing the EE of WSNs if configured *** paper intends to propose cross-layer design for multihop virtual MIMO system to enhance the end-to-end(ETE)reliability,EE,and QoS of the adopted *** protocol is set here to focus on the energy utilization for transmission of data packets by optimal selection of transmission constraints for each node of the ***,the protocol’s ETE latency and throughput are also modeled as the dependent variables of BER performance of every *** discover the improved BER criteria of each link that meets the ETE QoS requirement in reduced energy utilization,this paper employs a new hybrid optimization algorithm named Lion Mutated Dragonfly Algorithm(LM–DA)that is a hybrid variant of both Lion Algorithm(LA)and Dragonfly Algorithm(DA).Finally,the performance of the adopted scheme is validated over other state-of-the-art *** results state that the energy consumed by the adopted LM–DA approach is about 2.65%,1.77%,and 1.77%reduced over LA,PSO,and DA schemes,respectively.

Traditional intensity modulated two-level electrical time-division multiplexing （ETDM） transmission systems working at 100 -112 Gbit/s were investigated. The complete ETDM systems based on monolithically integrated transmitter and receiver modules were demonstrated with biterror-rate （BER） performance of 10-s at 107 Gbit/s, and near error-free standard forward error correction （FEC） threshold （2 × 10 -3） at 112 Gbit/s. The experiment results showed that directly modulated high-speed ETDM transmission systems with the symbol rates at 100 Gbaud and beyond were promising candidate for cost-effective 100 GbE applications and might be a preform of the next generation of Terabit/s Ethernet.

Application of Adaptive Coded Modulation Technology in UAV Data Link

UAV data link has been considered as an important part of UAV communication system, through which the UAV could communicate with warships. However, constant coding and modulation scheme that UAV adopts does not make full use of the channel capacity when UAV communicates with warships in a good channel environment. In order to improve channel capacity and spectral efficiency, adaptive coded modulation technology is studied. Based on maritime channel model, SNR estimation technology and adaptive threshold determination technology, the simulation of UAV data link communication is carried out in this paper. Theoretic analysis and simulation results show that according to changes in maritime channel state, UAV can dynamically adjust the adaptive coded modulation scheme on the condition of meeting target bit-error-rate (BER), the maximum amount of data transfer is non-adaptive systems three times.

Investigation of Differently Modulated Optical Signals Transmission in HDWDM Systems

The authors＇ developed combined system model can be considered under the concept of next generation optical network （NGON） as a model for the future design of backbone networks. Such solution can be topical in the result of different telecom operators＇ optical networks convergence. In this case a necessity to transmit differently modulated signals over a single optical fiber even with different bit rates may occur. This research is performed with OptSim 5.2 simulation software that numerically solves nonlinear SchrOdinger equation. The authors have revealed the optimal parameter configuration for developed combined transmission systems and obtained in system＇s channels detected signals bit-error-rate （BER） correlation diagrams. They represent BER as a function from different system＇s parameters such as channel output power level, optical amplifier fixed output power level and system＇s channels allotment in C-band of ITU-T （Telecommunication Standardization Sector of the International Telecommunications Union） recommended spectral grid. As well as these obtained BER values were compared with the results for similar system, where instead of standard single mode fiber （according ITU-T Rec. G.652 D） optical signals are transmitted over non-zero dispersion shifted fiber （ITU-T Rec. G. 655）.
