This paper presents a low-phase-noise LC voltage-controlled oscillator (LC-VCO) with top resistive biasing in subthreshold region. The subthreshold LC-VCO has low-power and low-phase-noise due to its high transconductance efficiency and low gate bias condition. The top resistive biasing has more benefit with the feature of phase noise than MOS current source since it can support the low-noise characteristics and large output swing. The LC-VCO designed in 130-nm CMOS process with 0.7-V supply voltage achieves phase noise of -116 dBc/Hz at 200 kHz offset with tuning range of 398 MHz to 408 MHz covering medical implant communication service (MICS) band.

A collaborative filtering-based recommendation system has been an integral part of e-commerce and *** keep the recommendation systems reliable,authentic,and superior,the security of these systems is very *** the existing shilling attack detection methods in collaborative filtering are able to detect the standard attacks,in this paper,we prove that they fail to detect a new or unknown *** develop a new attack model,named Obscure attack,with unknown features and observed that it has been successful in biasing the overall top-N list of the target users as *** Obscure attack is able to push target items to the top-N list as well as remove the actual rated items from the *** proposed attack is more effective at a smaller number of k in top-k similar user as compared to other existing *** effectivity of the proposed attack model is tested on the MovieLens dataset,where various classifiers like SVM,J48,random forest,and naïve Bayes are utilized.

HVDC transmission system has considerable impact on the surrounding power transformers when the system is running in the unipolar ground mode, which will cause the DC magnetic biasing phenomenon on transformers. This problem would be more serious, after commission and operation of UHVDC transmission system in China. According to the Guangdong power grid under the influence of DC magnetic bias seriously, but little research about the using of blocking device, this paper proposed an optimization scheme about the usage of blocking device combination. Firstly, the subject studied the method of suppressing transformer neutral point DC depending on analysis the mechanism of magnetic biasing, and then found out the changes of power grid after using the capacitance blocking device which is popular used by Guangdong power grid. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) has been used to find a better way to suppress the DC in power grid, and combined with NSGA to solve the mixed integer programming problem. The final data validation of this method is valuable in engineering application.

Low power supply operation with leakage power reduction is the prime concern in modern nano-scale CMOS memory devices. In the present scenario, low leakage memory architecture becomes more challenging, as it has 30% of the total chip power consumption. Since, the SRAM cell is low in density and most of memory processing data remain stable during the data holding operation, the stored memory data are more affected by the leakage phenomena in the circuit while the device parameters are scaled down. In this survey, origins of leakage currents in a short-channel device and various leakage control techniques for ultra-low power SRAM design are discussed. A classification of these approaches made based on their key design and functions, such as biasing technique, power gating and multi-threshold techniques. Based on our survey, we summarize the merits and demerits and challenges of these techniques. This comprehensive study will be helpful to extend the further research for future implementations.

DC magnetic biasing problem,caused by the DC grounding electrode, threatened the safe operation of AC power grid. In this paper, the characteristics of the soil stratification near DC grounding electrode was researched. The AC-DC interconnected large-scale system model under the monopole operation mode was established. The earth surface potential and DC current distribution in various stations under the different surface thickness was calculated. Some useful conclusions are drawn from the analyzed results.
