In 1959, Sudan and China established diplomatic ties, and the two countries have been closely united in diplomacy, constantly consolidating strategic mutual trust and promoting practical cooperation since then. Three years ago, Sudan and China established a new strategic partnership, marking a milestone in the mutual relationship. On the eve of the 2018 FOCAC Beijing Summit,the Sudanese Ambassador to China Ahmed Shawer talked about the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and its future development in an interview with Chinas Foreign Trade.

As the pandemic begins to ease in some places,the support made available to individuals and businesses should be gradually phased out and replaced by spending to encourage economic growth and employment.While businesses and individuals are recovering from the problems caused by the pandemic,revenue from corporate and individual income taxes may be reduced.Additional tax revenues can however be gained from improved taxation of the digital economy and the opportunities to identify undisclosed income sources arising from agreements for the exchange of tax information.Jurisdictions must modernise tax administration to improve taxpayer compliance and reduce the size of the informal and shadow economies.Modernisation and digitalisation of tax administration can significantly improve tax collection.Using the dialogue process under briTACOM,the bri jurisdictions can benefit from the experience of other developing jurisdictions and receive technical support to improve tax administration and collection.Tax incentives could be used to encourage businesses to invest in the digital and green energy sectors.These incentives should be specifically framed and targeted to achieve the maximum effect and monitored to ensure that they continue to achieve the required goals.

Vegetation Biomass of Sargassum Meadows in An Chan Coastal Waters,Phu Yen Province,Vietnam Derived from PlanetScope Image

SW(Seaweed)is a valuable coastal resource for its use in food,cosmetics,medicine and other items.In this study,PS(PlanetScope)imagery was combined with field sampling to demonstrate the capability of mapping of SAV(Submerge Aquatic Vegetation)(including both SW and SG(Seagrass)beds)and biomass mapping of Sargassum meadows in An Chan coastal waters,Tuy An district,Phu Yen province,Vietnam.In term of SAV and Sargassum mapping,authors proposed an improved remote sensing technique based on Sagawa’s bri(Bottom Reflectance Index)algorithm with attention to Tassan’s concept in discrimination of light attenuation coefficient Kd between shallow and deep waters.Authors’results showed high accuracy in mapping of SAV and Sargassum distribution with overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient of 92.52%and 0.8957,respectively.The classified class of SW(i.e.Sargassum sp.)then was separated absolutely from other classes in SAV map for estimation of Sargassum biomass.The red and green spectral pre-processed bri channels(i.e.bri3 and bri2)of PS were used to estimate the Sargassum biomass using a multiple 2nd order polynomial regression model with very high accuracy(R2=0.9707;RMSE=±109.21 g/m2).The average total Sargassum biomass was 897.8 g/m2 with total Sargassum yield in whole region reaching a value of 449.57 tons in cover area of 50.32 ha of Sargassum meadows.This result opens the great potential of biomass and yield estimation of Sargassum and other SW meadows in coastal waters(including enough optically deep waters)by remote sensing techniques based on PS imagery.

SIX years after Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the Belt and Road Initiative (bri), it remains the world’s most ambitious investment plan. The opportunities that the bri offers in facilitating prosperity through developing trade links and creating jobs are unparalleled. However, for the bri to achieve its boldest aspirations, participating countries in Latin America, including Uruguay, must also work domestically and with China to adopt complementary policies that promote long-term, responsible, and sustainable economic growth.

The aim of this thesis is to define the development of the three South Caucasian countries:Azerbaijan,Armenia and Georgia’s relation with China.The main focus of this work is to show the role of China in the region and what challenges and the possibilities can it interface during bilateral relation under the background of bri.The thesis mostly focusing shortly after the end of Soviet Union when the states got independence and new foreign policy has established.The aim of the paper is to describe the major events that had impact on relations between China and the South Caucasus region,to analyse all the dependent and independent variable which bring the Chinese focus in the region.The paper claims that Chinese interest is influenced because of the geopolitical side of the region,its strategic location in world map and the natural resources,which directly influences to the economy in positive side.Even though,it is not neglected to analyse different perspective of the future relation,the factors that shapes actual foreign policy of South Caucasus.The thesis tries to shed into light that Chinese interest in the region is not only economical segment in region but the geopolitical side.Considering geopolitical determinants,this region is still attractive for many big powers,therefore the paper analyses whether Chinese aim in the region can be intersected by other players like Russia,Turkey and western powers.Russia does not refuse its imperialist policy,which has become a tradition,and the United States has been trying to hinder it and the region is another polygon between the two powers.Turkey is seen as another power which tries to feel regionalism because of the economic interest in the region.At the same time,Chinese interest in the region is mostly to use the strategic location as shortcut route to access European market in fast way,the paper shows the importance maritime and land power through the geopolitical perspective.As for the opportunities,paper shows and analyses each country’s ambitiousness to welcome C
