This paper explores the integration of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using virtual reality and smart glasses technology in food manufacturing. The study employs a thorough methodology, combining observational insights to develop a comprehensive SOP. Implementation at different firms resulted in significant improvements, reducing product waste and enhancing overall efficiency. The use of virtual reality further augments SOP adoption. The findings underscore SOPs’ transformative influence, offering a tangible solution to challenges in the food production sector. Recommendations include regular SOP reviews and ongoing training for sustained success. Different firms exemplify SOPs as indispensable tools for operational excellence.

augmented solar images were used to research the adaptability of four representative image extraction and matching algorithms in space weather *** include the scale-invariant feature transform algorithm,speeded-up robust features algorithm,binary robust invariant scalable keypoints algorithm,and oriented fast and rotated brief *** performance of these algorithms was estimated in terms of matching accuracy,feature point richness,and running *** experiment result showed that no algorithm achieved high accuracy while keeping low running time,and all algorithms are not suitable for image feature extraction and matching of augmented solar *** solve this problem,an improved method was proposed by using two-frame matching to utilize the accuracy advantage of the scale-invariant feature transform algorithm and the speed advantage of the oriented fast and rotated brief ***,our method and the four representative algorithms were applied to augmented solar *** application experiments proved that our method achieved a similar high recognition rate to the scale-invariant feature transform algorithm which is significantly higher than other *** method also obtained a similar low running time to the oriented fast and rotated brief algorithm,which is significantly lower than other algorithms.

In the modern era,preoperative planning is substantially facilitated by artificial reality technologies,which permit a better understanding of patient anatomy,thus increasing the safety and accuracy of surgical *** the field of orthopedic surgery,the increase in safety and accuracy improves treatment quality and orthopedic patient *** reality technologies,which include virtual reality(VR),augmented reality(AR),and mixed reality(MR),use digital images obtained from computed tomography or magnetic resonance *** replaces the user’s physical environment with one that is computer *** and MR have been defined as technologies that permit the fusing of the physical with the virtual environment,enabling the user to interact with both physical and virtual *** has been defined as a technology that,in contrast to AR,enables users to visualize the depth and perspective of the virtual *** aimed to shed light on the role that MR can play in the visualization of orthopedic surgical *** literature suggests that MR could be a valuable tool in orthopedic surgeon’s hands for visualization of the ***,we remark that confusion exists in the literature concerning the characteristics of ***,a more clear description of MR is needed in orthopedic research,so that the potential of this technology can be more deeply understood.

Helmet Mounted Displays(HMDs),such as in Virtual reality(VR),augmented reality(AR),Mixed reality(MR),and Smart Glasses have the potential to revolutionize the way we live our private and professional lives,as in communicating,working,teaching and learning,shopping and getting *** HMD devices have to satisfy draconian requirements in weight,size,form factor,power,compute,wireless communication and of course display,imaging and sensing *** review in this paper the various optical technologies and architectures that have been developed in the past 10 years to provide adequate solutions for the drastic requirements of consumer HMDs,a market that has yet to become mature in the next years,unlike the existing enterprise and defense markets that have already adopted VR and AR headsets as practical tools to improve greatly effectiveness and *** focus specifically our attention on the optical combiner element,a crucial element in Optical See-Through(OST)HMDs that combines the see-through scene with a world locked digital *** for the technological platform,we chose optical waveguide combiners,although there is also a considerable effort today dedicated to free-space *** and thin optics as in micro-optics,holographics,diffractives,metasurfaces and other nanostructured optical elements are key building blocks to achieve the target form factor.

Accurate outdoor illumination estimation is not easy due to extremely complicated sky appearance and the mutual interference of the sun and sky. In view of these challenges, we present a new deep approach for the estimation of all-weather outdoor illumination. The key to our approach is a novel dual attention autoencoder(DAA) with two independent branches to compress the sun and sky lighting information from an input HDR panorama, respectively. This enables more accurate lighting estimation as evidenced by our experiments since the mutual interference between the sun and sky can be precluded effectively. In DAA,we design the adaptive feature pyramid and the attention module to promote its accuracy in *** further develop a sun-sky predictor, a masked network, to learn the sun and sky lighting conditions from an Fo V-limited image. Comprehensive qualitative and quantitative experiments verify the effectiveness of our proposed approach and show its superiority over the state of the arts.

We present a system that automatically recovers scene geometry and illumination from a video, providing a basis for various applications. Previous image based illumination estimation methods require either user interaction or external information in the form of a database. We adopt structure-from-motion and multi-view stereo for initial scene reconstruction, and then estimate an environment map represented by spherical harmonics （as these perform better than other bases）. We also demonstrate several video editing applications that exploit the recovered geometry and illumination, including object insertion （e.g., for augmented reality）, shadow detection, and video relighting.

In the aviation industry,cable bracket is one of the most common *** traditional assembly state inspection method of cable bracket is to manually compare by viewing 3 D *** purpose of this paper is to address the problem of inefficiency of traditional inspection *** order to solve the problem that machine learning algorithm requires large dataset and manually labeling of dataset is a laborious and time-consuming task,a simulation platform is developed to automatically generate synthetic realistic brackets images with pixel-level annotations based on 3 D digital *** order to obtain accurate shapes of brackets from 2 D image,a brackets recognizer based on Mask R-CNN is *** addition,a semi-automatic cable bracket inspection method is *** this method,the inspector can easily obtain the inspection result only by taking a picture with a portable device,such as augmented reality(AR)*** inspection task will be automatically executed via bracket recognition and *** experimental result shows that the proposed method for automatically labeling dataset is valid and the proposed cable bracket inspection method can effectively inspect cable bracket in the ***,a prototype system based on client-server framework has been developed for validation purpose.

Due to the narrow space and complex structure of spacecraft cabin, the existing asssembly systems can not well suit for the assembly process of cabin products. This paper aims to introduce an assembly auxiliary system for cabin products. A hierarchical-classification method is proposed to re-adjust the initial assembly relationship of cabin into a new hierarchical structure for efficient assembly planning. An improved ant colony algorithm based on three assembly principles is established for searching a optimizational assembly sequence of cabin parts. A mixed reality assembly environment is constructed with enhanced inforamtion to promote interaction efficiency of assembly training and guidance. Based on the machine vision technology, the inspection of left redundant objects and measurement of parts distance in inner cabin are efficiently performed. The proposed system has been applied to the assembly work of a spacecraft cabin with 107 parts, which includes cabin assembly planning, assembly training and assembly quality inspection. The application result indicates that the proposed system can be an effective assistant tool to cabin assembly works and provide an intuitive and real assembly experience for workers. This paper presents an assembly auxiliary system for spacecraft cabin products, which can provide technical support to the spacecraft cabin assembly industry.
