Astrosphaeriella sensu lato is a common genus occurring on bamboo,palms and stout *** of Astrosphaeriella have been collected from various countries in tropical,subtropical or temperate *** Asia,species have been collected in Brunei,China,Indonesia,Japan,Philippines and *** have been several morphological studies on Astrosphaeriella,but molecular work and phylogenetic analyses are generally *** included in Astrosphaeriella were characterized in three main groups 1)typical Astrosphaeriella species(sensu stricto)having carbonaceous,erumpent,conical ascostromata 2)atypical Astrosphaeriella species(sensu lato)having immersed,coriaceous ascostromata with short to long papilla and 3)lophiostoma-like species having immersed ascostromata with slit-like *** of the latter Astrosphaeriella species,having slit-like openings,have been transferred to Fissuroma and Rimora in *** this study five type specimens of Astrosphaeriella were loaned from herbaria worldwide and re-examined and are re-described and *** of Astrosphaeriella were also made in Thailand and morphologically *** cultures were obtained from single spores and used in molecular *** asexual morph was induced on sterile bamboo pieces placed on water *** analyses of combined LSU,SSU and TEF1 sequence data of astrosphaeriella-like species using Bayesian,Maximum parsimony(MP)and Randomized Accelerated Maximum Likelihood(RAxML)analyses were carried *** analyses show that species of Astrosphaeriella can be distinguished in at least three *** of Astrosphaeriella sensu stricto with erumpent,carbonaceous ascostromata,form a strongly supported clade with Pteridiospora species and a new family,Astrosphaeriellaceae,is introduced to accommodate these *** genera are revised and Astrosphaeriella bambusae,***,***,***,*** and Pteridiospora chiangraiensis

Anthostomella has long been regarded as a large,but polyphyletic genus in the family Xylariaceae,but species in this group generally lack phylogenetic *** this study,14 anthostomella-like taxa collected from Italy,were studied using both morphology and molecular *** ascospore isolates were obtained and the asexual morphs of five taxa *** phylogenetic relationships of the xylariaceous taxa were inferred using combined ITS,RPB2,βtubulin and LSU gene *** introduce new sequence data for 24 with included the 14 new anthostomella-like *** subfamilies Hypoxyloideae and Xylarioideae within Xylariaceae were recognized as the two major clades with high bootstrap *** the two clades 21 subclades were resolved and the anthostomella-like taxa clustered in five of these subclades indicating that the genus is *** sensu stricto comprised ***,***,***,*** and *** *** and *** collections morphologically closely resemble the type specimens and therefore we designate reference *** new species Anthostomella helicofissa,*** and *** are also *** distinct lineages of anthostomella-like taxa correspondent to four new genera,Anthocanalis,Brunneiperidium,Lunatiannulus and Pyriformiascoma,which are also introduced,while one clustered in Astrocystis and is introduced as a new *** to the new anthostomella-like genera and species examined in this study are provided.

The genus Thysanorea Arzanlou, W. Gams ＆ Crous was introduced in the family Herpotrichiellaceae Munk（Arzanlou et al. 2007）. During our studies of freshwater fungi, two new species of Thysanorea were collected from Thailand. Thysanorea chiangraiensis and Thysanorea nonramosa are described based on phylogeny and morphological characters. Their phylogenetic placements are explored with combined analysis of LSU, SSU and ITS sequences. An interesting character was observed by Kirschner（2016） in the specimen of ***. He described that the conidiophore heads containing branches that easily broke off and could be replaced by regeneration. So far, Thysanorea have four species. The conidiophore character "branched head sometimes or often breaks off from the stipe and with a percurrent proliferation" was easily observed in all species of Thysanorea except in T. nonramosa. Thysanorea nonramosa has unbranched conidiophores which become suddenly slimmer and paler and this apparently indicates a new percurrent proliferation after head breaks off. In our study of morphological about Thysanorea, we find it is similar to Dactylaria Sacc in having denticulate conidiophores, but morphological analysis supports T. nonramosa differ from Dactylaria and phylogenetic analysis also supports it as a new species in Thysanorea. In any case, this character of percurrent regeneration of apical part of conidiophore is an important morphological marker in Thysanorea at genus level.
